Anywhere else I've ever gone they take the extra 10 minutes to see if they have samples in stock and if they do then they just do the fitment of the contact lens the same day. I asked one of the ladies at the front desk and they said he would have checked if they had in stock.. but I told them I don't think he wanted to even check... it turns out they did have the samples in stock so they let me take the samples but he needed to look at my eyes again with the contacts before he could give the prescription.. so they said they would ask if he could take a few minutes to do the "fitting" and he said no now I need to go back tomorrow for a 15 minute check so he can look at my eyes.. (when I was there anyway but didn't want to see if they had my prescription in stock) when he originally told me he'd call me back for the fitment when the trials came in in 7 days... he didn't even want to try.. and wants you to come back for 3 appts total before the prescription is issued. Stay away, lesson learned for us.

She refused to pick up the phone a call my insurance company and refused to call me. Would lie, make up bogus excuses, and avoided my calls. The incorrect form was submitted to my insurance company. Wasted a bunch of my time. Eventually it got to the point where I had to get SVS Vision's corporate office involved just so I could get my order. The doctor there was nice. Severe problems that SVS Vision probably will not address on a corporate level. Take your time and money elsewhere.
