We hadn't had Vito's in awhile, due to TWO previous bad experiences- one carryout & one delivery. Decided to give them one last try, since we love their bbq chicken pizza. This time, we were told 30 mins and were charged $19.93 for an advertised $14.95 pizza.....? Pizza came an hour and 15 mins later, after multi phonecalls (and being lied to and hung up on) and there was a $2.99 delivery fee on the script that was not listed on the menu or told to us over the phone, which explains the $19.93. Pizza was very well done and chewy and the excuse from the owner was, "new girl wrote down your address wrong".......um.....I repeated the address on EVERY phone call, and gave a description of my house. The only time I Go to vitos pizza ever is to get their boneless wings, I do not care for their pizza since its cheaply made and haven't tried everything else, but the last 2 times I have gone and ordered boneless wings from them they have thought it was a good idea to give me chicken nuggets instead or chicken tenders, without even saying anything!!! Absolutely Horrible! Vito's use to be one of our favorites and it is a shame how the quality of the food and service has declined. Pizza is burnt most of the time, always out of items on the menu and how do you order veal parmesan and get a sandwich with NO VEAL!!!!! Ridiculous ! "This is not fast food" is the response I got when I asked if over 40 minutes is normal for 3 sandwiches and a kids cheeseburger. So I held myself barely optimistic thinking the ridiculous wait would pay off with halfway decent food. Not to my surprise everything was horrible. All steak and cheese were burnt to a crisp and fries were cold. I guess that's where all the extra time went too. The only redeeming quality I thought was that my son who ordered the kids cheeseburger said he enjoyed his. It turned out his fries were good because they were originally not placed in the order but his burger to fit in with all the other meat was burnt like a hockey puck. Worst steak and cheese I've had so far. Will never come back. I recommend you never go here. read more

This was formerly Frattelis the new owner Vito is very nice and takes pride in what he serves. The pizza is very good and he has great lunch specials. The boneless wings are still available and you get a lot for your money! I ordered delivery last night and the pizza was still hot when it arrived and the delivery guy was very courteous! If you are looking for something different from the chain restaurants then give this place a try! Unless you don't like getting the most bang for your buck! read more

Stopped by on a fluke instead of going to subway and were very pleased. The lady that took the order was nice, and honest (in that I asked for her opinion and she said she didn't like a certain item) and they didn't skimp on the toppings. Food is actually good. Honestly, We've been Vito's customers for years, always loved their food and the staff. My Dad would even order a pizza half cooked to bring back to the beach when he was in town. I know there has been a change in management recently and I'm sad to say it's absolutely changed the quality of food we always looked forward to. After one experience where it was taking every bit of 20 mins to order because the gentleman seemed confused, we decided to just go somewhere else. We didn't order for months after when we found out there was someone new running it. Today we decided to give them another try. Ordering steak and cheese subs, sadly with no steak which is what you look for in said sub. We received bread, lettuce, tomato, and mayo. I'm sad to see such a great place go so far down hill. I wish we had saved the money and just made a veggie and mayo sandwich at home. read more

Ordered pizza for delivery today. The only good things were the price and the time it took for the pizza to get to me and my friends. This is what earns them one star. However...the woman taking our order on the phone seemed drunk or high- she was quite unenthusiastic and unenthusiastic, as well as mentally slow with basic math and common sense. She had to ask my friend which number represented the month of December! Our delivery guy was disgusting and RUDE! So rude he almost seemed angry at us for doing something to ruin his life. He pulled into the driveway literally blaring his trashy music, as well. The pizza is as basic as it gets. Bland, greasy, unimpressive. The crust tastes like water and cardboard and was incredibly dense. The sauce is hardly seasoned. The cheese and toppings were okay. So, pretty good prices and deals, terrible service, and disgusting pizza. Very disappointed- never doing that again. read more

I called to order a pizza on Saturday and I'm not sure how else to describe my conversation on the phone other than to attempt to direct quote it, so here goes: Very bored sounding girl who answered the phone: "thanks for calling Vito's" Me: hi, I'd like to place an order for delivery. Girl: "ok what's the address?" Me: *gives address* (Silence) Me: hello? Can you hear me? Girl: ummmm. Yeah. Is that close by? How many miles is it from here? Me: um... I don't know... not far. We are both off tidewater trail? (Thinking to myself, isn't that your job to know??) (More silence followed by some conversation with someone in the background) *girl repeats address to some guy in the background* Background guy: "well how many miles is it from here?" Girl to guy: "I don't know." Me: "yeah, you know what? I'm good. Just forget it" Girl: *sounding even more bored than before* "are you sure?" Me: "oh I'm definitely sure. Y'all don't seem to know what's going on and I've lose all faith that you'll even get the order right so I'm good. I'll order from someone else. Thanks anyway." I Hang up and call Pizza Heaven down the street (who take my order and locate my house without problems) meanwhile while I'm ordering from pizza heaven, I receive not one but two voicemails from Vito's. I listen to them only to hear music as if my voicemail had been placed on hold, to which I burst out laughing. While a complete waste of time, this whole experience was worth it just to be able to tell this story to everyone I know, quickly followed by laughter. So thank you, Vito's, for the hilarious story to your own expense. Also thank you to Pizza Heaven for having your stuff together and delivering a delicious pizza. read more

Vito's recently took over from Fratelli's. My wife and I really enjoyed them and ordered from them 3 - 8 times a month. We have now ordered for the second time from Vito's and have been dissatisfied both times. We will be looking for a new delivery place. read more

Very disappointed with the food and the disregard of management about resolving it. The lasagna was burnt. When we called to speak to a manager, we were told they were too busy. We were assured the lasagna was not burnt. So we left them our number and asked for a manager to call us. Never got a call back. So we paid for lasagna that had a burnt metallic taste. Do not go here!!! I ordered from here asking for a Philly Cheese pizza with mushrooms on only one half. After the delivery driver drops off the food I see that there is in fact mushrooms on both halves, the meat is sparse to non existent on some slices and the green pepper is hardly chopped up... No big deal, I call to ask for my pizza to be made correctly & the woman who answers the phone says she took the original order and inspected the pizza before it left the store. The pizza is in front of me & it is indisputable that mushrooms are on the whole pizza. I request a driver come back for it and to bring a new one. After waiting a considerable amount of time I call back & she says that she had no intent of sending a driver and that she can assure us there is mushroom on only half of the pizza, I ask to speak to a manager & she informs me that she is the OWNER!!! I decide at this point to drive to Vito's myself and bring in the pizza as a live across the street. I show her that there are in fact mushrooms on every slice and she begins to grab off pieces as though we have rearranged the mushrooms to be on both sides... Now I assure we did not move mushrooms and then remelt the cheese on top. She pulls aside her cook & says she checked with him 2 times that it was made correctly, I do not care if God himself says the pizza was made only 1/2 mushroom, I can see mushrooms on my whole fucking pizza. I am frustrated that she essentially called me a liar & when confronted about it she says "I never said u were a liar or implied it" she did not offer to remake the pizza but instead refunds our money but still makes us pay for our 2 sodas even after all that we dealt with. This is the worst & most unprofessional customer service I have ever dealt with and my pizza looked like shit. In reality, accidentally putting mushrooms on the whole pizza is not a huge deal had they offered to fix it or at least apologized for the inconvenience. Go to Primos across the street! The owner was fantastic when we told him what happened and compensated us with cheese bread for our difficulties. Unbelievable!!! read more

I ordered an extra large pizza and a 10 piece wing for delivery. After waiting an hour and a half, I called several times over the course of 30 minutes to see what the status was on my order, but no one answered. Finally, after waiting for two hours, I was getting ready to head to the store myself when I was finally able to make contact with them. They stated that the driver had passed through, but was somehow unable to find my house, despite being the only house in sight. I never received a phone call, despite them having my phone number. They asked if I could wait outside, in the cold, so they could find my house, and upon finally getting my food, it was luke warm, and the pizza was tough, and overcooked. When I attempted to call the restaurant to report the state of my food, no one answered. I will NEVER eat at Vito's again, and I will be sure that all of my friends and family know about the poor quality of food and service. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Last time we ordered here they were out of almost everything we ordered. When I finally placed my order about 10 minutes later we received a phone call back that they were out of another menu item we placed. Then I was told that they could not refund me my money! MY MONEY. No manager available! The lady (who was completely rude) told me they could call me when he gets back, they aren't sure when that would be. So now they want me to wait another 15-20 minutes for a call back. So basically still no dinner. Gus the manager is just awful and doesn't know the first thing about customer service. Finally offer to refund my money onto my card which they said will take three days? Or I can drive there and pick up cash let me remind you tthe order was for delivery. I finally talked him into letting me just switch my menu iitems and get something that was comparable in price. When we did receive the order for delivery it was wrong!! My vegetarian daughter who ordered cheese fries with just cheese sauce received bacon cheese fries! The manager refused to fix the order or refund us for the fries. Website gives inaccurate or wrong descriptions when I called to inquire about why my half cheese half mediterranean pizza came as a "white pizza" rather then traditional pizza sauce they offered no solution to rectify the problem aside from a too bad so sad attitude. Previous times we have had our food arrive ice cold. Given many chances- sorry folks that's it from us! read more
