We're very accommodating to get me scanned in a reasonable time. Front staff and techs were all so helpful and friendly. Great environment.

Don't know why the reviews are so bad for this place, glad I went…read more Today (Tuesday) I had an appointment for a CT scan at 3:30 pm at the Flamingo location. I downed some molecular hydrogen (helps with radiation) on my way there and was worried there would be a wait to get in (it has to be taken 30 mins before your scan). I walked in, checked in right away, the front desk staff was pleasant. I used the restroom, it was clean. I sat down and sent a text then was called back by a gentleman who introduced himself as the person who would be doing my scan. It went really fast, and the injection felt like literally nothing. In and out and done. If anything happens with getting the results back, I'll update this review, but otherwise I'm a happy camper!

The reps answering the phones lacked empathy and care for me and basically gave me the run around because my ultrasound wasn't done by them. It took over a month to schedule an appointment. The day BEFORE my biopsy, they tell me it's $1000 co pay. WTF? The day before. They won't bill me either, they need money up front. I come to the appointment and the waiting room is disgusting. The chairs, bathroom and space were untidy and unkept. I paid the co pay and there was a 5% surcharge for using a credit card that was NOT told to me until after I tapped my card. Way to take MORE money out of your patients. This place is a joke and quite frankly, it's what you get when you have shitty insurance. Since switching from my PPO to Cigna, this is the only option I have. It's sad to see the healthcare system drop so drastically. I really hope I don't ever have to come here again?

There was plenty of parking right out front, and the facility itself was very clean and well-organized. The staff were all friendly, professional, and made the check-in process easy. My appointment was at 12:30, and I arrived around 12:00, but I didn't get called back until a little after 1:00. The wait was longer than I expected, especially since I came early. However, once I was taken back, the tech made me feel comfortable and explained everything clearly, which I really appreciated. Overall, besides the wait time, it was a smooth experience and I'd come back here again for imaging if needed.

I've been using this facility for approximately 10yrs, and this is the first time I have encountered an issue. First, they could not find the referral for the ultrasound, then (while on hold) was hung up on, then I had to fully explain why the ultrasound was necessary. After all of this nonsense, the only appointment was an appointment 4 days before my schedule Dr appointment. I'm sorry, but what world do you live in and expect any doctor to receive the accurate results in less than 4 days. Shame on you.

Anytime you are faced with needing Medical Imaging, your choices are very limited--the hospital or…read morean outpatient center like SimonMed. Being a "seasoned citizen" I've had far more experiences than most needing typical scans. With that in mind, I believe I am qualified to say: SimonMed provides one of the best experiences and overall environments for getting doctor-ordered scans I have ever witnessed or in which I participated. No close second vote--they've got it nailed! I read several reviews prior to choosing SimonMed where they complained about long wait times, hassles finding doctor orders, etc. Thankfully the review with the most impact said the key was completing ALL form submissions and preregistration possible ONLINE. They also recommended having a copy of the Doctor's order IN HAND, just in case. Upon arrival (15 mins before my appointment which they recommended) they scanned my ID and insurance cards and asked me to be seated in the waiting room. I was called just about five mins after my appointment time which was a wonderful exception to the rule! My life experience tell me the wait will ALWAYS be 30 mins PLUS! The technician was calm, funny, warm and engaging. The ONLY complaint I had was her refusal to share with me, THE PATIENT, any of what she was or was not seeing. See explained that she would be instantly fired if she broke protocol. I get it. But that meant having to worry another couple days. Bottom line: do your part, be prepared ahead of time with everything needed for the clinic, bring copies of everything and enjoy a far better experience than most facing these tests.

I don't have much nice to say here. I had to take the old lady for a couple scans, it was earlier…read morein the morning, there were no seats left. The office staff was also shocked by that. After waiting some time her name was called and I told him she was in the hallway (they had a couple chairs there) he grumbled something and went in the back. My mom then came back in and waited by the door until someone came back out. During that time the front desk lady comes out and hollers really loudly asking me if my mom had any implants or something else. I asked her to come closer, I'm not hollering personal information across a packed room. Also while waiting the same lady was placing her Starbucks order with someone. A patient went up to the counter and she had him wait while she finished her conversation. We had to go to a separate trailer in the back. Joseph helped us, he was very kind, shook his hand and made eye contact introducing himself. He's the best part of the experience. The trailer had trash on the floor and just wasn't setup well for more than one person. Joseph walked us back in for the last scam. We were taken to a different area. The lady had to give her some kind of iv fluid and let it sit. Woman said she had to go to the bathroom, the lady said she'd be right back. After a few minutes no one was coming back, so I went to look for someone. Another patient in the room showed me the bathroom. I think it's crappy if someone (especially a senior) says, "I have to go to the bathroom", and no one comes to direct them to where to go. They asked her to fill out a form and the same lady who never showed again for the bathroom also didn't collect the form. I asked the guy that brought her out what to do with it. He said turn it in at the front. Well I ended up in line behind someone who'd gotten the runaround multiples times. They don't even have the machine at their facility to do the scan he needed! He said it's the third time they've scheduled him there! Thankfully Joseph came out and I gave him the form. I'm not sure why someone would willingly go unless they had to. Between unclean spaces, and staff that needs to be retrained, it wasn't a great experience and I wouldn't recommend them. Thanks again to Joseph, but that doesn't erase the rest of the experience.

If you need to use the restroom you do have to ask the front desk for the key. My daughter went there for her first MRI and, as a parent, that can make you a little nervous because you are not sure how they will handle someone who has never done it before. The staff was very accommodating and took the time to explain the process to her so she knew what to expect. They were patient and made sure she felt comfortable before getting started. They also allowed me to be near the room to help her through the process, which I really appreciated. Those small gestures make a big difference when your child is going through something new or a little intimidating. Overall it was a positive experience and the staff made a situation that could have been stressful much easier.

Instead of issuing it their billing company MSN Healthcare Solutions actively attempted to collect an additional $262.35 I did not owe -- while simultaneously holding my money. My insurance company had to intervene four separate times over seven months to resolve this. Each time a refund deadline approached Pueblo submitted a new corrected claim deliberately resetting the clock. One claim was denied due to their own filing error. They ultimately reduced my refund through improper billing code unbundling. When I filed a BBB complaint their response repeatedly characterized this as a simple premature billing statement -- a dishonest minimization of a deliberate pattern of delay and predatory collection practices. They never took accountability. Know your rights as a patient. Verify every claim with your insurance company. Do not pay anything without confirming with your insurer first. What they did to me they are likely doing to others who don't know to fight back.

I had an open upright MRI years ago in another state, so when I found one here, I was thrilled. I'm…read morehighly claustrophobic, and also have an impossible time lying on my back due to severe back pain. My joy was short-lived. I arrived 10 minutes before my scheduled appointment, and was told by the unfriendly front-desk girl that I was late. No one had told me to be there earlier; I live way on the other side of town, and S. Maryland Pkwy. is completely ripped up. When I got home, there was a message on my phone half an hour before the appointment time asking where I was. The technician, Adriana, who did the MRI told me that I couldn't move at all during the test, not even during the time in-between the various sections of it. So I didn't, not one bit. She said if I did, the entire test would be invalidated. The room was also freezing, so she had put a sheet over my hands that were resting on a cube on my lap. She told me that she wouldn't be able to hear me, but if I needed help I should raise my hand. Wouldn't that then invalidate the whole test?? The last section of the test was the longest, seven minutes, she said. And when that ended, she said I was going to have to come back and have the entire MRI redone, because I had moved. I said I hadn't moved a muscle, so then she asked if I had taken a deep breath. I knew I had, so she said that was the reason. So why didn't she tell me not to take a deep breath along with the don't-move instruction that she kept repeating??? I was not about to do another 30+ mile round-trip to repeat the entire test and risk having to screw it up again if I did something as natural as breathing, so I told her to just have them send the report to the doctor as-is. She said she'd see what the doctor would do. And that led into a nearly week-long odyssey. I'd call every day and never get through. I had the tech's extension #, but it would ring three times and disconnect. On the rare occasion that I got to speak to the tech, she changed her tune and said I'd only have to repeat the last part. So which part of what she told me was true - repeat the whole test, or just the last part??? Totally untrustworthy. Once again, I told her that I wanted it sent the way it was. Finally, after six days, when I called and finally got through after another five attempts, she said the report had been sent to my doctor; I had her send it to me, which she did. From beginning to end, the unprofessionalism and lack of honesty of this facility is a deal breaker. I also had to have a different MRI, and chose an open-sided MRI facility. The difference in the way I was treated was like night and day, and I dealt with the back problem and the claustrophobia just fine, thanks to the skill and caring of the techs at the other facility (see my review). LV Radiology's Upright MRI isn't worth the trade-off. Unfortunately, they're pretty much the only game in town for an Upright, but it's not worth it. Better off to suck it up and go for an Open MRI. It was a horrible experience made even worse by the incompetence of everyone there.

I called again, two weeks after referral was sent and was again told they were still waiting for insurance. Today at three weeks I called and was told the same thing. When I called back to LV Radiology they said "Oh I see your insurance denied request" When I explained that couldn't be the case as no request had been received by insurance, I was told by LV Radiology , " it must have been an error, we are short staffed!!" I'm going to another imaging business.
