First time trying this establishment after doing a yelp search. I decided to try the Vegan Birria Melt that comes with fries and consome (soup). Birria Melt: very flavor, excellent crunch to it, a little spicy but not overwhelming. Only con I have was I wish the oil/juice of the birria was squeezed out a little was too much for my liking. Fries: excellent, there were on point and nice crisp to them. Consome: very flavorful, could have this everyday. Yes I will be retuning to try other items on the menu. read more

Had 3 taco plate for $12 which, nowadays, for a filling, healthy meal is a bargain. It was really good. Green salsa was a nice addition. Beans and rice were delicious as well. Damn, I just got ripped off by this place. Ordered the UFC plate which shows "oyster chikn, mashed potatoes, gravy, cole slaw, and a side of Mac and cheese." $21 I get home looking forward to my chikn dinner and am very disappointed when I see half the order isn't in the bag. There's no Mac and cheese, no mashed potatoes + gravy (they threw fries in the box instead). Not cool to charge me $21 and not put what's listed on the menu. Despite this disappointment, I can say the oyster chickn was crazy delicious. The marinade had a deep savory flavor and it was fried to perfection. TLDR: good food, but check your order. Im so sad that i have to write a negative review on the upland location .. Lets start with service: Service wasn't what we experienced at the colton location this place needs alot of work.. their wasn't enough menus for customers we literally rushed to pick what we wanted so others can use the menus .. we waited 30-45 mins for our food.. the kitchen was bumping music loudly.. the atmosphere wasnt what I expected at all... Food quality and price Ok food tased was good but i paid $17 just for 4 pieces of a quesadilla no sides no drink no nothing lol thats crazy .. my wife got tacos and was only given 2 tacos for $15 ... we asked for rice they didn't have it we asked for fries they ran out.. we also got a togo of posole because we were still hungry spent close to $55 here and drove from riverside just to try the new location ..was it worth it? Quality of the food has gone hill I live in the high desert and this is the second time recently driving down there for there food and it's been just getting worse the carnitas was super salty the other day and I've never gotten sick from there birria but my stomach hurt after that meal and whats sad is I usually buy it in quarts to take home besides eating it there too for the family. The owners started both restaurants off great and now it's just over priced salty food unfortunately. I hope you guys get it together because I would tell everyone about your restaurant and now it just disappoints. My family and I drove from Pomona specifically for this restaurant and we were really disappointed to find that they were so understaffed at 5:00pm that they couldn't bother to meet us at the front door within 10 minutes of us our arrival. There were three other families sitting at tables looking around aimlessly with no employee seeming to pay any attention while an annoying beeping sound filled the restaurant with incessant noise. I wish we could've tried some of the delectable looking food, but unfortunately that will probably have to wait for hell to freeze over. read more

They had a DJ, gave out champagne and made for a fun event. My friend and I, both ordered their UFC plate (Oyster Fried Mushrooms, with mashed potatos & gravy, mac & cheese and coleslaw). You can choose either habanero or ranch as your dipping sauce. Their Oyster Fried Mushrooms were batter fried and crunchy on the outside, and hot and chewy in the center, mashed potatos were chunky, mac & cheese was similar to maccaroni salad and the coleslaw was lightly sweetened. (My apologies I didn't have good menu pictures as I took them standing in a crowded line.) So come on back, show them some love and support this nice business! read more

The host was so personable and the aesthetically pleasing decor of the diner helped me solidify that this was my new favorite spot and their recommendations based on my partner and Is preferences didn't disappoint!! My partner is not vegetarian or vegan, but LOVED the Birria Tacos. I choose the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich and the "chicken" was INCREDIBLE. The good: The server was one of the most helpful and friendly humans I've ever encountered. Restaurant seemed clean. The bad: I've been to the Colton location and enjoyed it so I thought I'd try this one. Unfortunately the problem is this whole culture of vegan restaurants being incredibly expensive. I got a Nashville chicken sando with some fries and a coke. After tip it was THIRTY DOLLARS. The food was fine, but there was nothing exceptional about it at all and it wasn't all that filling. IMGO.. I tried this place for the first time and everything was very delicious. The vegan asada was so flavorful and not spicy which I loved hunty!! Yasss!! We got a birria melt which was really good but a little plain not spicy, the fries were kinda meh, the consome was so tasty though!! Arrived here at opening 4pm Walked right in no line only 2 people in front of me was able to place my order @ 4:10 If you're hungry or in a rush I strongly suggest you go somewhere else who cares. I sit here at 4:40 they've just now called the 2 ladies that were in front of me. I have watched them call folks that showed up after me as well over 30 min ago The decor here is dark and depressing. I ordered my food to go for that reason besides it being hot as hell. I believe it was hotter in here than it was outside 101 degrees today. When I was fixing my mask I got a bad smell of a dirty mop of mildew can't put my finger on it. I feel like there's not sense of urgency, they have a minor working the register and also packing the food. As I sit here I am thinking I can't wait to leave to get started on my review, and it won't be good, a long wait and this heat is a big concern I'm burning the heck up. It's now 4:45 I just got my food and I'm over it at this point with a mild headache Got to my car decided I should try it while it's hot. I'm not impressed, it was ok I guess. The dip was watery, no flavor, tacos were mediocre, shells were blah, and meat lacked flavor. The burrito I ordered was actually decent but lacked something. I'm guessing sauce Idk it wasn't what I expected after all these great reviews . I had better tacos in Temecula at a food "hall". The cook kept coming out asking who ordered what no mask, no gloves looked a little confused to me. But again you have minors working under the age of 12. I'm not sure how long they'll be in business but i won't visit again. I drove 47 miles because of the reviews, well they had 4 stars but I'm going to assume folks never had authentic Vegan Tacos . I get it's a family business that employs minors I think a lot of things should be reconsidered by the owner wait until these kids are old enough to work. The young lady who was serving the food and drinks wore gloves, no mask walked around to the back area I'm assuming the bathroom area and came back same gloves same that was also concerning. Y'all this spot is legit. I stumbled onto their IG when they were still in Upland and unfortunately I'm never in that area during the days/times they were in operation. I live in Redlands so I was thrilled to hear they were opening in Colton. This is the first week they were open there so of course I had to swing by and finally try their birria ramen (I've been craving this for months since I first saw their menu lol) and an order of birria torta. A bit pricey but in my opinion it's worth the quality of their food. Their tortilla chips were freshly made and because there was a slight mix up of my food prepared for dine-in, they also gave me a strawberry horchata which btw is so good! For the people commenting that they took too long to prep the food, honestly good food takes a while to cook. It's worth the wait. And their salsa? Perfectly spicy Also, staff were all very nice which is excellent in the customer service department Cons: again, a bit pricey but also delicious food. They allowed a white woman with two dogs to eat and had nothing to say to her. My mother comes in with a bag of fries from wienerschnitzel and a twix bar along with a large orange gatorade. I was soo hoping to love this place, however, I ordered the Nashville hot sandwich w/mushroom and the wingz. We got our food to go and expected it to be warm, but not this it was cold! Everything had to be heated up. The sandwich had no flavor and the bread was bone dry and it had a pinch of coleslaw. The wingz had flavor due to the buffalo sauce. I love the concept.
