Shaw does incredible work and I highly recommend him to anyone that requires headlight restoration! He was punctual, professional and communicated everything in a clear and concise manner. I had recently purchased an older vehicle that had front end issues and horrible oxidation on both halogen headlights and one of the fog lights. Shaw was initially booked to restore them, but when he saw the damage and condition they were in, he gave me his recommendation to replace to new headlights and upgrade with HID conversion of lights and LED fog lights. The light output on the old halogen bulbs were horrible and it was dangerous to drive at night. Once I paid the deposit, Shaw took care of everything. He ordered the parts and we re-booked a new installation day. He called me 30 mins before arriving and got to work. He replaced the headlights, installed HID conversion kit and LED fogs, and also repaired the front lip and did his best to realign the bumper and quarter panel (damage from previous owner). Found him on yelp so I decided to contact him to fix my break lights because my local jiffy lube didn't specialize in fixing them (they had no clue on electrical diagnosis, as it turns out) He is so handy and honest! he was able to fix my fog lights that had fallen when a tire hit my car! I thought I needed a replacement but he snap it right in! Others will ask you to pay $$$ and lie on what you need just to make a quick buck. He was also able to fix my falling apart license plate hanging by one screw. He took his drill and drilled in new holes and new screws. Shaw did amazing work on my headlights. I have an older 2009 car that had bad oxidation. I had my headlights restored before a few years ago and it did not last very long. So I went to Google to search for another person to help and Shaw did exceptional work. While doing the work he had noticed that whoever had done my restoration a few years ago basically did it wrong and made the oxidation worse a few months later. He was able to buff it all off and now they look brand new! Not only that, but he even fixed the broken clip on the right side of my bumper!! When the clip broke over 10 years ago I was told by multiple people that the whole bumper had to be replaced to fix it. Meanwhile, Shaw fixed it without having to do that, saving me a ton of money. Amazing service, took Shaw about an hour or so. He is local, drives to you, and is flexible with time and appointment. I'm a last minute person, and he was able to come within an hour of my reply. I have a 2006 Mercedes SLK 350. Really excited cause a lot of people thought my Mercedes was younger than it is (before lights being cleaned) and the thing that bothered me most about my car was the dirty headlights. For $130 (5 year warranty) you are basically investing in brand new headlights. -Should mention, 5 year warranty is voided if the car wash dudes wax your car and hits your headlight with the buffer, and then takes the buffer and tries to cover his tracks and goes over the entire headlight. Ultimately destroying the clear coat, and the next few times you take it to wash, they turn yellow. - Shaw is very meticulous and knowledgeable. If he saw a missing spot for the finishing coat, he redid the entire thing! After the cleaning, my car definitely looks at least 4 years younger! I set up an appointment and vivid confirmed through text and phone call. On the day of the appointment rep/person calls me he is running late and he will be here couple minutes later. After some time he calls me back that he will charge me more if i want him to come out here because he is located in the OC and with traffic it was gonna be a 45 min drive but on the reservation he had my address, so i dont understand why callback saying he need to charge more, it sounded like he just wanted me to decline his services because was trying to charge way too much for a headlight restoration, when i provided him with photos and details on headlight on the original quote.
