There was somewhat of a line on a Friday morning, but I love how they have a kiosk so that you can see the entire menu and customizations right in front of you. The interior is pretty clean and inviting. I didn't realize that the café was so close to all of the other businesses in the area that I like to frequent. I wasn't expecting much and I was honestly gonna try the strawberry first but once I saw the ube, I knew I had to give it a shot. And holy crap I'm in love with the Ube foam. It's one of the best things I've ever tried. The only downside is that if you do have little sweetness in your drink, the bitterness is kind of stark unless you mix it well. I'm not sure if I like the matcha or not because it doesn't really taste that fresh and the color is dull, for some reason. They do appear to have flights though. Parking: free street parking but there's also a plaza parking that has lots of space but you must pay to park Since the matcha flights are limited, my friend and I made an effort to arrive early, even though we had over an hour-long drive. The shop was very busy, but the wait for our drinks was surprisingly short! We placed our order using an iPad, and while they offer a 4% discount for cash payments, the staff seemed too busy to handle cash transactions, so paying by card was the only option. There has definitely been a lot of social media buzz about Vivot Craft Cafe and it seems like their matcha flights are what draws in the crowds. Apparently they only make 50 flights a day so it's been all the rave. Although, I thought the drinks and food were just okay. My husband and I shared the fruit matcha flight. For the flight you are allowed to pick 4 fruit flavors and we picked blueberry, strawberry, mango, and guava. For $18.99 it was quite pricey since each cup is only about 6oz but we wanted to sample a variety of flavors. Unfortunately, I was looking forward to the guava matcha one the most and was sadly disappointed. The guava puree they used tasted really medicinal and almost a bit off-putting. Compared to Bopomofo and Junbi who are known for their guava matcha drinks this was nothing comparable. The other flavors although were good and matched well with the matcha. We also ordered two Tamago egg sandos and they were somehow overly salted. Also it tasted more like regular American egg sandos than Japanese egg sandos so the name is kind of deceiving.
