My new favorite to go place in Newport Beach!!! This new establishment is right above Sol Grill on PCH, great lighting and views with all the beautiful windows. You walk in and immediately feel comfortable by the three great owners, Alex, Miguel and Randy! These guys are doing a great job with building an atmosphere that everyone can love. They have worked hard to build the menu for incredible drinks and food, it's all up from here! The raclette cheese is a must try and any coffee from their fancy lever machine. My favorite drinks are vanilla latte and the matcha! Not to mention they have great cocktails and an amazing wine list. I suggest coming to try their quality, speaks for itself!!!!

The sandwiches are very fresh & the perfect size. Our drinks were hot & served to us on a bamboo tray. The menu is very small (3 sandwich options for lunch & 3 options for breakfast). Breakfast is served until 10:30 with avocado toast & fresh bread with homemade jam on their menu- both of which I'd love to try. The guys running the show are very friendly & made sure we enjoyed our meal. We'll be back & recommend you try this new spot

Great coffee, great people, great atmosphere! Looking forward to making Vivre the new coffee/work spot!

lavender latte, matcha latte, prosciutto sandwich
    Hannah H.

the prosciutto sandwich was incredible i definitely will be coming back for it. my friend got the caprese sandwich she loved it. it comes with chips and there was some type of aioli dip with them which was super good. i swapped out my chips for salad and it was $2 extra which i think shouldn't have been because it was just a tiny portion of arugula with a little bit of sliced tomatoes and balsamic (the chip portion was bigger) i got the lavender latte with almond milk and it was a bit bitter so next time i think i would add a pump of vanilla because one of my favorite coffee shops does that with there lavender latte's. service was very fast which i appreciated and the employees were so sweet. the place was really cute as well. i definitely will be back to try the coffee again.

Been here a couple of times and the staff is always super friendly and a plus - I'm able to get some work done in a chill , quiet and clean environment.

Best Soju-based cocktails! Had their Espresso Martini and I couldn't tell the difference from the real thing. Then I tried their Matcha Martini...YES! MATCHA. Martini. And DAMN!!! Soooo goood!!! Service was quick and friendly and definitely made me feel at home. I felt as if I walked into a French Euro café. Ambience was definitely there. French cafe vibes, for sure!! Will definitely be back to try the food!

They have all these post-it notes around with great quotes!

They deserve all the stars from the moment you walk in, and you're greeted, you feel welcome. Fabulous customer service and the coffee was amazing. It's such a great find, and the seating is perfect to enjoy and read.

The food and service were amazing! I can definitely see myself becoming a regular at this coffee shop

Prosciutto sandwich with Raclette add on

I've been looking forward to experiencing this unique and wonderful cafe. Tried the Prosciutto sandwich with the recommended Raclette add on. Put simply, it was everything I had hoped for in a European style sandwich from the rich and creamy butter to the delightful crunch of the bread. The Espresso martini was also a nice touch with some red fruit nuisances on the finish. Today they offered guests a complimentary Matcha tea which was extraordinary. Fantastic little gem sitting above Sol Grill on pch overlooking the back bay harbor. Highly recommend

    La Provence cocktail, YUM!

Vivre really lives up to their name (translation "to live")! I ordered their signature matcha latte - DELICIOUS. I asked for suggestions from the staff on what to eat and they did Not disappoint! I ordered the prosciutto sandwich with raclette cheese and subbed the chips out for a Papa's salad. First of all, the raclette was fresh, smooth, and the perfect touch! The sandwich was not only beautifully put together but I don't think it lasted more than 5 minutes on my plate- highly recommend it! I could not get enough of the Papa's dressing, I could drink it if they'd let me - LOL. To top it off, I ordered the La Provence cocktail, again a beautiful presentation and delicious! The vibe, views, and staff were on point, so welcoming and professional. I will definitely be a regular here! Thanks, for opening a much-needed homey cafe in the area! I can't wait to come back!

Great food and Delicious drinks served by Kind people!

I ordered a churro latte half sweet and a deluxe avocado toast. The latte was delicious. Sweetness level was just right for me. I don't like super sweet drinks. The avocado toast was also great. Inside is a café inspired by natural accents with an industrial flair giving a rustic character with modern style. The vibe inside is chill with plenty of seating for groups or singles. They also have an outdoor area with covered seating surrounded by plants. The menu delivers just as much appeal as the setting. They have an expansive list of coffee, tea, and lattes with several modifiers to choose from. To accompany your drink the menu provides options of sandwiches, bagels, and a variety of pastries. I had the smoked salmon bagel, featuring delicate slices of salmon layered over cream cheese spread, topped with capers and fresh chives. This is my go to for coffee houses that offer it. The bagel exceeded my expectations and I believe the chive's subtle flavor complemented the smoked salmon really well. For drinks we tried the chai and hot chocolate. The iced chai latte was smooth and not too sweet with a dusting of cinnamon on top, but I would rate it average in taste. The hot chocolate was deliciously velvety and detailed beautifully. I would rate it a five out of five! The difference at this coffee shop is that you can choose from a range of seating arrangements and have an opportunity to support the business by picking up clothing, a bag of coffee or other merchandise. The con for this coffee shop is that the beverages are somewhat undersized relative to the price point. In addition, the customer service experience fell short. We were greeted upon entering, but it was unclear where customers should retrieve their order or whether orders numbers were called out. With that said, those looking for a quiet morning coffee or a cozy place to catch up with friends, this spot can accommodate.

There's an adjacent room that's connected to the cafe called "Flow Space" - which is utilized for small popups and arts & crafts. Neat spot for smaller community members to showcase their wares. Some of the other reviews mentioned no a/c - which had me worried considering we were having a bit of a heatwave lately - but to my pleasant surprise, A/C was on and cold! It was a great escape from the heat. Free wifi - fast enough for a zoom call if you need to hop into one - my speedtest reported download speeds of 17.5MB/s Restroom is clean and well maintained. Plenty of parking - of course, I stopped by a little after 2pm, so already avoiding the tail end of the lunch rush. Only downside is they close kinda early - 4pm - but open up at 7am. Great spot! Will probably be my go-to considering there's ample workspace, plenty of parking, less crowded than other coffee spots in the immediate area. I'm curious to try their matcha the next time I'm here, as well as possibly their breakfast burritos, since photos for that looks delicious.

The drinks were great and I didn't have to wait on them too long. I got a shakerato and a matcha latte and they were both good. You also get a little discount if you're walking, biking, or boarding to the shop and getting something. The only negative I have to say is that I think a cycling club stages from here on the weekend so the parking lot does get busy inside and out. Overall, I'd recommend this place and will return again.

This year specifically, I've noticed a couple of things that have made my experience go severely downhill. I've visited about five times, expecting to grab my favorite toast of theirs that I've had for years (Pan Con Tomate) and they have been out consistently back to back of that item. I've literally tried 3 separate times and been told they simply ran out of tomatoes. If it's that inconsistent, I'd hope they'd take it off their menu and post it as a special. But what bothers me the most is that the service is so nonchalant that it comes off as rude. No greeting, smile, positive energy.. giving off a vibe that they'd rather be anywhere else than behind the coffee bar. Sad to see the experience decline as it's been a favorite of mine and somewhere i always have hyped up to friends. Hopefully things pick up.
