3 of us had dinner here on Aug 30th. The food as always was amazing. My wife had the Spanish Merulza which was addictive. Our friend and I had the Seafood Zarzuela which was also fantastic. I also had a red Sangria and also split the Gambas Al Ajillo which is shrimp in olive oil and herbs. Perfect meal. Excellent service.

Don't pass this place up. We stumbled upon it when our original destination was crowded and too noisy for our tastes. So glad we found it! It is a very unassuming little spot but when you get inside, it is full of surprises. They have patio seating and you can tell it was a gas station in a former life but the inside has been transformed beautifully. We were seated in an intimate little room with tasteful decor and a very welcoming feel. The server was helpful and recommended some dishes. My husband had a steak which he said was the best! He savored every bite. I had a fish entree that was good but fried, which I hadn't realized before I ordered it.

Everything is seasoned so well! The workers are great and very welcoming. I went in the afternoon which was calm and the food didn't take long. My favorite are the empanadas and the red snapper!

No bill, the food is great.

Small and quaint location. It is in an old corner gas station. Inside is comfy and cozy. Food was absolutely delicious. We ordered several appetizers for the entire table and made them our meal. Stuffed dates, empanadas, croquettas, shrimp, goat cheese salad and paella. We were stuffed and had to bring home the leftovers. For a table of 4 I was disappointed in my 3 guests as they tagged out a little early. Service was great. Oh, you have to order sangria as well. I also recommend that you make a reservation to ensure you are seated but it is not totally necessary.

This place is a hidden gem amongst a bunch of bars in the SoHo area just north of Hydel park. Our amazing server, Julie took great care of us and we decided to tackle the appetizer menu. We were seated promptly at a high top table for two inside the restaurant and truly enjoyed all of the cute decor. Great music and amazing food left us completely satisfied. Our favorite dish was the escargot and we will definitely be back for more.

The service was very attentive, if not somewhat pressed or rushed especially for our anniversary. Food was solid and could be spectacular, if it was more curated and less production style. Patatas bravas - good but our order took so long that we finished dining before it came. Top of the list was Pulpo, Duck Proscuitto and Pork Belly. Next was Gambas and Mushrooms. Chickens Thighs didn't meet the hype or waiter recommendation. One bite was good but otherwise missed the mark as being a bit dry perhaps sitting on the pan to be served. The flan was a nice finish. Drinks were lackluster imho. The bourbon spice rack was flat without character and light. Gin tonic Valencia way too much ice in the wine glass. Strongly suggest boosting their cocktail options. Wine options need more time to sort through. Inside and bar area was lively but a bit too loud for more intimate conversations, so outdoor worked out. I think HHour would be fun. Will try again next time. Cheers

Our server Enarxis was amazing and made our entire visit! His food and drink recommendations were 10/10: Red Sangria & Salad: The sangria was delicious and the tableside salad was so unique and flavorful. Cuban Bread: Oh my gosh... warm, perfectly crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside with butter. Divine! Pollo Manchego: Huge portion for lunch! The citrusy sauce with the crispy chicken and yellow rice was so different from anything I've had and super delicious. Mahi Mahi with Blue Crab: My husband devoured this. El Combo de Cuba: My dad cleaned his plate trying all the Cuban flavors. We loved every second from start to finish. I can't say enough good things about Enarxis--he truly made our experience. My wife ordered the empanadas and the half 1905 salad and I ordered the half and half......half Cuban and half 1905 salad. My wife should have added 'bring them together' but she didn't and the server didn't bother to ask so the empanadas came out and everything else came out 15 minutes later. My wife had a cocktail and the bill was $60.20. Issues to fix: 1)I ordered a Coca Cola, $4.00 and in 92 degree weather it melts in 5 minutes. We were there for an hour and not one time did she ask if I'd like a refill. 2)When she made the 1905 table side she literally 'dropped' a handful of salad ON THE FLOOR between my wife's and my seat......she kind of chuckled, gave us our salads and walked away. She literally left the SALAD ON THE FLOOR THE ENTIRE MEAL! During the course of our meal probably 20 employees walked by and never bothered to pick it up. That in itself was the epitome of laziness and complete lack of respect to the customer. Our bill was $60.20 and I tipped $12 which normally I'm a 30% tipper and I could kick myself for giving her 20%. She deserved zero. I know I will never get a response from management but do you think I will ever come back? Nyet.

I started with a red sangria which was only five dollars. However it was very dry and only had one little slice of orange on it. When I think of sangria, I think of something luscious, but this tasted like a dry red wine. Then my partner and I both had soups. He had caldo galego which he really enjoyed and I found very flavorful. I had the lentil soup, which seemed to lack flavor. When I had lentil soup at other restaurants (Colombian or Cuban) it was flavored with onion, garlic, chorizo and cilantro. Perhaps Spanish cuisine is known for lighter flavoring? My ropa vieja was good however I had to pick from green beans or rice. It's a sacrilege to serve Ropa Vieja without rice, but I wanted to try the green beans. My partner had the seafood paella which he found delicious. We also tried the first dessert which was excellent. It was almost like a crème brûlée, but I noticed it had some light possibly lemon zest in it. We were hungry which is why we ordered a regular meal but maybe next time we'll try some tapas. Overall, the atmosphere is elegant, they have a full bar& staff are friendly however, some of the food might not be as flavorful as you would expect.
