Been here several times now and each time has been better and better! Service is amazing. First class in training and performance. All around a well oiled machine that is on top of everything. But to be expected as they have been around since 1905! The food is beyond amazing I've had the Cuban, chicken and rice, steak and the famous 1905 salad. Everything has been fantastic in flavor and portions. Great spot again for work meetings lunch or dinners, anniversary, dates, everything all events. Now for theme, obviously it's a Cuban restaurant so very Cuban/Spanish themed. Now the fun part about this place is the outside looks nothing like the inside. It looks bigger inside honestly as each room has its own theme. If you get a moment to look around do so as it's fascinating!

I loved that it's still run by the fifth generation of the founding family, it makes the experience feel even more special. I ordered the famous 1905 Salad and the Chicken Salteado, and both were fresh and delicious. Everything we had was excellent. The only thing that surprised me, as a Miami Cuban, was not seeing Cuban sodas like Jupiña or Materva on the menu. Not a big deal, just something I expected. Overall, a great meal, great service, and a place I'd happily visit again.

I've only had Argentinian-style milanesa before, and I can easily say I liked the Teresita style better. The marinara sauce on the milanesa brings enough acidity to cut through the grease from the fried meat -- the meat is thin and crispy, but not at all dry. The fries and yellow rice make the meal an absolute steal based on the amount of food you get. My friend had the fried fish, which looked delicious -- excited to try it myself next time. Will definitely be back to try more items on the menu!

We tried a few things: -Churro: okay but definitely stale, wish it had been fresher. This was a bit disappointing. -Chicken and rice: chicken was not very flavorful. Parts were cooked perfect and some of it was a little dry. Definitely not great... The rice was fantastic, perfectly cooked and seasoned -Salmon and fries: this was really good, flavorful and cooked great. We just wish it was a little bigger for the cost. -Vanilla Flan: very good, just a bit small. -Tres Leche: stole the show! Fabulous! I would come back just for this! The texture was perfect and the flavor was flawless! It was sweet but not too sweet. Great dessert! Definitely check your food before leaving though as they did forget part of the meal. Not a big deal as the guy up front was super apologetic and friendly. That dude was great! They need more just like him. Also, not the cleanest, floors needed swept and mopped. (That definitely would have helped the experience) Overall, it was a good/okay experience, just not great.

There's plenty of seating throughout without it feeling crowded or like you're sitting on top of the table next to you. Their brunch prix menu is awesome - highly, highly recommend going for brunch and trying this menu because not only are the food options on there fantastic, but it's a great value. We all ordered different items so we could share and try a little bit of everything, and there wasn't a single bad thing on the menu, the patatas bravas, potato tortilla, and croquetas were all really yummy starters and you can't go wrong with any of them. The bulla burger, bulla Benedict, and braised pork hash were also all really great - I love breakfast foods, so the Benedict was my favorite personally and the crispy chorizo bits were really good. The desserts were my least favorite probably - the churros were good, they're basic churros. The dessert empanadas I didn't care for too much, I think the truffle honey was too much for me and it was hard to taste the quince or cream cheese. Our service was also phenomenal - Bambi was very friendly and had a great attitude! Would def recommend Bulla for a good brunch date spot.

This time around we got the Huevos Bulla, which was relatively hearty with the salty ham and gooey egg, with the potato chips providing a lot of crunchy texture to the dish. We also got the Grilled Steak, which was a new dish for me to try. This is probably going to be one of my favorite dishes from now on. The steak was tender and the truffle foam was to die for (even after the meat was gone i was eating that sauce up, no leftovers). Another new try for me was the seasonal Lamb Cannelloni. The lamb was gamey and the wrapping was soft. The sauce it came with definitely helped enhance the flavor; without the sauce it was just okay. I order the Kalimotxo drink, which, with the cola and lemon, helped brighten up the wine-forward drink.

On this visit, I ordered soup, salad and entrées for 11 adults and 3 little kids. I called the order in 24 hours in advance and had a very nice person who took my order. She was not the usual person but the next morning the Togo/catering manager called to confirm my order. She was outstanding and just the best! I was instructed where to go upon arrival and they would bring my order to the car. That was so easy and very well done. My order was checked multiple times and everything including condiments and service utensils were included. The food was outstanding in preparation and fresh flavors. We did over order but the leftovers were just as good. Our favorites were the 1905 Salad, the Eggplant entree and of course the Picadillo, Ropa Vieja, and Chicken and Yellow rice were traditionally excellent. This location doesn't have free parking like the Ybor location does, but this location in downtown is great for sightseeing before or after the meal.

My wife ordered the empanadas and the half 1905 salad and I ordered the half and half......half Cuban and half 1905 salad. My wife should have added 'bring them together' but she didn't and the server didn't bother to ask so the empanadas came out and everything else came out 15 minutes later. My wife had a cocktail and the bill was $60.20. Issues to fix: 1)I ordered a Coca Cola, $4.00 and in 92 degree weather it melts in 5 minutes. We were there for an hour and not one time did she ask if I'd like a refill. 2)When she made the 1905 table side she literally 'dropped' a handful of salad ON THE FLOOR between my wife's and my seat......she kind of chuckled, gave us our salads and walked away. She literally left the SALAD ON THE FLOOR THE ENTIRE MEAL! During the course of our meal probably 20 employees walked by and never bothered to pick it up. That in itself was the epitome of laziness and complete lack of respect to the customer. Our bill was $60.20 and I tipped $12 which normally I'm a 30% tipper and I could kick myself for giving her 20%. She deserved zero. I know I will never get a response from management but do you think I will ever come back? Nyet.

We started with nachos for the table with chipotle cheese sauce, pickled red onion, pickled chile, guacamole, queso fresco, and sour cream and they were the perfect way to kick everything off. For mains, we ordered the enchiladas poblanas (chicken, queso fresco, house-made mole, crema, onion, and sesame) and shared the steak Tampiqueña with grilled strip steak, refried beans, and rajas corn enchiladas. The steak was genuinely perfection so flavorful and cooked beautifully. I also treated myself to an espresso martini, which was divine...maybe just a little strong, but in the best way. We had a delicious lunch right before our concert, and the location made it super convenient since it was right where we were staying. Overall, such a great sisters' trip meal, amazing food, fun vibe, and a perfect pre-concert stop. Would 100% recommend!!!
