    3. Shrimp & Pork Spring Roll

I visited this place on a Sunday and was sad to see it was empty. I couldn't understand why, since the service and food were delicious! I enjoyed my special beef noodle as the broth was on point and the servings were large. The prices are very reasonable and the service is quick. This place has its own parking area which is great so near to UNM. I suggest coming for dinner.

First time here. And so far service is good and the food cooking smells great! I'm having the beef combination pho bowl and my sister in law is having the rice combination plate. It's delicious!

Absolutely, wonderful. I give them a 5 the ambiance of the restaurant is nice. The food is amazing. Easily one of the best bowls of Pho I've had. Give these guys a try! You will not regret it.

The food was delicious, and the hospitality was quick and kind while ordering. Service was slow, but I excuse that after talking with the owner, who was also my server...and the host... and COOK... AND THE BARTENDER. It's a lot for one guy to do haha! Support this business. The food is so so so good!!

Sort of tucked away but definitely worth a try. I had the broken rice dish with grilled chicken, which was super juicy and tasted great.

Is this place still opened? I went to where the GPS told me to and it looked closed? Now I'm wondering if I should have looked harder as it might be in the back?

The cold cuts were flavorful, the bread was fresh, and the meat to bread ratio was just right since I like more meat than bread. This is an excellent option for a quick lunch, but I would recommend staying to eat if you can. The decor is simple, the space is clean, and there are a few tables available. It does get busy during the lunch rush, but the line moves quickly and is well worth the wait. While the banh mi definitely steals the show, there are plenty of other options on the menu. Their banh cuon, thin rice noodles filled with ground pork and wood ear mushrooms, was good, though still second to the sandwiches. They also offer pate chau, a flaky puff pastry filled with pork pate, including a New Mexico style version with chicken and green chile. They have a variety of Vietnamese desserts like che, which I did not get a chance to try this time. My coworker loved their traditional Vietnamese hot coffee. I do not drink coffee, but I did enjoy one of their smoothies, which was refreshing and delicious. Overall, CODA Bakery is a go to spot for authentic Vietnamese flavors and one of the best places in Albuquerque for banh mi.

They offer quite a variety of Bahn Mi Sammie's, Noodles, salads dang, they also have the Korean Corn dogs!! Let's just say I can come here many times and order something different! Since it was my first time I got the first Banh Mi sandwich on the menu, and it was out of this world! The balance of the savory meats, the pickled daikon radish and the freshness of the cilantro is just EPIC!! The drink menu is extensive, Bobas, Teas, matchas galore!! Again, I'm already focused on what I'm getting next time I come in! The service is friendly and welcoming, we were those people who showed up 30 mins before close.. I know I know. Fail! But I promise we tipped good . They were very appreciative. All in all, this is our new hot spot, can't wait to come back soooooon!!

First, impression, the service was polite and understanding. The sandwich and drink came out within 10 min. Their Banh Mi was flavorful and was in a 9in roll that was lightly crispy and filled pretty well. I am used to shorter rolls that are stuffed way more. I felt like I ate more bread than toppings, otherwise I would rate it higher. It's about a $12 sandwich, on par with Subway footlong prices. The fruit tea was great, although I question the practicality of the canister it was served in. Instead of a plastic cup with a straw/no straw, it was in a plastic can that you can open like a soda can on top. I disliked how I couldn't reseal it or reuse it. If I wanted to recycle it, I'd have to put effort taking out the lemon wedges, which I did in order to. So, if I had the choice, I wouldn't get those cans. Everything costed about $20 before tip. I think in the future, I'll ask if I can get extra meat and veggies to make the Banh Mi feel more full. The place was also very bright and clean. I liked the atmosphere where there's plenty of seating. They also have every table with soup utensils and condiments bc they also serve pho.

I have never seen such teamwork to be served, ice tea refilled and keep things moving. The servers work as a team! I feel good when I leave because the food is delicious and fulfilling. I've had their Won Ton Soup, which is very reasonably priced. But mostly I go for their noodle bowls, which are excellent. I get a combo beef and eggroll--delicious. I also recommend their chicken spring rolls, which are unique and tasty. Otherwise, their selection of spring rolls are a bit limited. I think Viet Taste serves the best iced tea in Albuquerque. No attempt at Vietnamese authenticity; instead, corners are cut with cheaper or maybe less challenging (for American palates) ingredients. Truly not great. I've experienced this before in Europe, where some ingredients aren't available locally or they are afraid to insult local tastes. But Albuquerque has a significant Vietnamese population, great local supply of everything. There are so many good Vietnamese restaurants in Albuquerque, but this is not one of them. If you want dumbed down, flavorless food that won't challenge you, this is it. It is clean and pleasant here.

I called to place an order through "Bamboo by Kulantro" with a very friendly staff member. He was just as friendly when I picked up my takeout on November 25, 2025. My "takeaway" entree was the Bamboo Bowl ($18.12 with a card). It entailed "vermicelli noodles, spring mix, crispy garnish, peanuts, house sauce, crispy egg roll cut up into pieces, two grilled shrimp, and my choice of protein: grilled beef. While there was an enormous amount of vermicelli noodles which I could not finish, the rest of the entree had great portions of the rest. My dog even enjoyed much of the beef I offered her.
