Couldn't be happier with their service. I was not very pleased with my property management company since they refused to acknowledge a mold problem and even had a person come over to test my bathroom. Let's just say my walls were severely wet and you could push a hole thru the wall 4 months after the sewage leak from the upstairs unit. Sure enough after enough complaints and withholding rent they came to "fix" the problem by putting stucco and fresh paint over the mold... The original mold tester through the property manager come over to check the mold levels in the room by only doing a "tape test" over fresh paint. Sure enough no mold was found. I got the results from them and immediately looked for a new company because I wasn't buying their fudged results. Vm3 (jeff and his crew) took pictures and showed me where all the mold was and did an air sample and swab test and gave me a results the very next day with insane readings. These guys did their job and can't thank them enough! If you're having any problems and your property management company gets a mold company Make sure you're there bc the sample is only as good as what they're willing to look for. Speedy, knowledgeable, and professional. We had a slow leak cause water damage and mold growth in a downstairs bathroom. The first step was to have a plumber fix the leak. The second was to get a remediation crew to remove the damaged drywall, and scrub-and-disinfect the between-wall spaces. The third step was to call VM3 to inspect the situation, and see if it was safe to replace the drywall and seal up the space. When I called, they immediately picked up the phone (some competitors didn't). We scheduled an inspection for later that week. The inspector was professional and thorough, and produced a clear, informative, photo-filled report. (punchline, the remediation folks missed two spots, and would need to come back). The solution they suggested is much less invasive than what another mold inspector suggested -- probably because this company doesn't do remediation, they just inspect. David the inspector was very knowledgeable and extremely thorough. He took the time to explain everything to us and answer all of our questions. The final report was detailed with pictures and recommendations. I didn't feel pressured to purchase samples or do unnecessary testing (something I've experienced with other inspectors). I wish I could give 6 stars. I had an asbestos abatement done by a company that was a little shady. For peace of mind I contacted VM3 for a post abatement analysis. I called them and they were able to accommodate my last minute request and sent out a guy the next day. This morning I met with that guy. His name is Udo Steinberger and he is the most the professional person I have worked with a long while. He has a rich background in chemical engineering and is PE (professional engineer). He knows his stuff and it was very evident. He took the time to clearly explain what it was he was doing and what the test would show. He also took the time to detail out how the results work. While we waited for samples to be taken, we struck up a great conversation and it was truly a pleasure to meet him. I received the results only 5 hours later and the full report will be in, in a couple of days. Talk about fast and efficient work. I am delighted to have gone through them and even more delighted to have worked with Udo!!! I highly recommend them and Udo for anyone who wants fast results with excellence in customer service.
