Our district manager came to see us at work last week and wanted to buy us lunch, we decided on pizza and wings. Closest restaurant offering both that at least one of us had tried was Vocelli pizza. Easy online ordering, good communication from delivery person and a pretty good pizza experience ensued. I am a bit of a pizza snob not because I think chains are inferior, but I make my own NY style, Neopolitan and Sicilian pizza at home between my baking steel and outdoor pizza oven. Make my own dough, sauce, etc. However, it was a perfectly good pizza. Ordered one supreme and one spring veggie, one order of plain wings and one order of buffalo wings. Can only review the supreme pizza as I did not try the other items. It was tasty, by far not my favorite delivery option, but definitely rating higher than Papa John's or Pizza Hut. Didn't love it cold, slightly better reheated. A solid product--but will have to try more options to get a higher rating. read more

I order from a company who is tax exempt and i order every year at least 2-3 times. Everytime I order there is a problem because no one knows how to do it. I have called to place a big order for two days and there is one person working in the store. He sounds like he is a high schooler and is unaware of how to do this process. He has been trying to contact the manager since yesterday and has been unsuccessful. Therefore, I cannot place an order at this time. This is horrible as the pizza is enjoyed by everyone. I ordered online to this location by mistake as i order between two Vocelli's stores on a regular basis depending at where I am at for work during the week. I called after the order was placed and spoke to the Manager at the location. I was informed that the manager could not give me a refund as the business owner does not like to give refunds to any of his customers, and had also told me if I did not like the response I was given that it was not his problem. I can understand if someone had called in several hours after the order was placed. But to outright refuse refunds to loyal customers in the middle of a recession and quarantine? Horrible customer service. I ordered on a Friday at 5:48pm. At 7:30, I called the store because we hadn't received our order, despite living 2 miles from the shop. It arrived while I was on the phone, but it was cold. The store worker handed the phone off to a manager, who offered a full refund as an apology. I didn't ask for it, it was offered. The manager told me to have a good evening and that was that, or so I thought. At 9pm, the store manager called my cell. She informed me that I had canceled my order, but got a delivery anyway, so I had to pay for the food. I explained what had happened and she said it wasn't store policy to just refund the order, that I should have sent it back, and now I needed to pay for it. I told her that I hadn't asked for the refund and I wasn't paying for cold food. She started yelling at me that the store didn't away free food. I told her again that this wasn't my problem, because her store had offered the refund, but said nothing about me having to return it. She told me that the owner said I had to pay for it, because that was store policy. I told her again, that this wasn't my problem, but an issue with her store. After several rounds of me saying the same thing over and over, the manager hung up on me. We've ordered from this store many times, and have frequently had small mistakes happen, but have never complained, because working in the food industry is hard and stuff happens, but we will not be ordering from them again. As I was typing this, the delivery driver called and told me if I didn't pay for it, the store was going to make him pay for it! That's just about the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. We've previously been ha becppy with the food, and the perpetually poor service hasn't mattered much because we only interact with them for a few minutes to pick up the pizza. Today we called and placed an order and the "manager" refused to place the order without a credit card number over the phone because "they don't take cash anymore since they got robbed last week". My husband had already left to go GET the pizza, and I had left my wallet in the car so I didn't have any card information to even give her, not to mention I didn't feel like she was trust worthy enough to give it to her after her odd and rude behavior. She was so insistent that it could only be given over the phone that the whole situation began to seem shady. She even stated that we couldn't come in and order in the store. The order HAD to be placed and paid for via a credit card over the phone. I told her they would be losing loyal customers over this issue and she said "We don't care" and hung up. So long Vocelli Pizza! Guess it's time to find a pizza place with good service where I'm not concerned about them trying to steal my credit card information. By the way, I called the police to check about this so called "robbery" and they stated that there was no report of a robbery at that location recently. About a year ago or so the management of this establishment must have changed. Vocelli's used to be my favorite place for both wings and pizza! My family easily spent $75/month at the establishment. The wings used to be so crispy and flavorful, but now they are fatty and often drenched in too much sauce making them extremely soggy. The pizza options are great, but are never consistently made the same. In addition to the lowered standards in food quality, the customer service is horrible! One night I called in a order for delivery, but the person on the phone said my phone number registered as a "do not deliver" number in their system. He/or she explained that there was a note in the system that someone using my cell phone number called in several orders and did not pick up the pizzas ordered. So the manager added a note to the system, to deny orders received from my phone number. This was either a typo (someone with a similar number input incorrectly) or someone fraudulently used my number to place orders. Despite efforts to speak to management, this issue was never resolved. This is a poorly managed Vocelli's. I wish the previous management would return and bring it back to where it once was. read more

My brother told me that Vocelli's was good but apparently that applies to the one in Fredericksburg. The one in Woodbridge is not! I ordered the bacon cheddar rolls and there was hardly and bacon. As I was waiting for my order I noticed an Asian lady with long hair making pizza without a hair net and the owner Mr Kim next to her wiping his forehead while he was making pizza. I made a comment to the cashier about the lady not wearing a hair net. He called over the owner Mr. Kim over and told him my concerns. Mr. Kim looked at the lady and said to me she was wearing a wig and started laughing. Clearly you can see she did not have a wig on. I did not find that comment funny at all. We've ordered both take out and delivery at this location with mixed results. I've had to wait an hour for a single order of breadsticks once for take out. That was a bit excessive but I was craving them and nothing else would do so I tolerated the wait. My last experience was a bit souring. I placed the order at 8pm. Meatball sandwich, Vocelli rolls, and a garden salad. I was told it would be 35-45 minutes for delivery. About standard really. At 9pm when our food still hadn't arrived, we called to check the status and all we were told was "it left the store". Nothing more. 28 minutes later, our food arrived. The sandwich was soggy, the salad was the wrong salad with the wrong dressing, and the rolls were just barely room temperature. There was no apology for the delay. We may order again but not for quite some time. Hopefully by then, they'll have gotten their timing issues down. read more

Has very nice and hardworking staff. Also, delivery is always super fast and timely. The pizza always comes hot (even too hot sometimes, so I'll let it sit to cool down). You can also order well-done which I like a lot since it makes the pizza a little bit tastier. I'm from Chicago, so I know great pizza. And I'll admit, there are some deep dish places in Chicago that are better than this place. However, this is the best pizza place in the entire DMV area by FAR. The pizza will fill you up and leave a great taste in your mouth. There are also great appetizers like the bread bites which are really good, and I must've eaten a million cannolis at this point. Before I start I would like to point out that I am An employee of this store. I do not think however that that disqualifies me as a credible source of information. I can personally vouch for the quality of the food. Anyone who has tried the chicken spinach pizza (my personal favorite) would agree that this is on the better side of chain pizza restaurants. Pretty much all of the specialty pizzas are good and worth a try. I can also personally vouch for The management. It is a good working environment. I'm working here because I need a second job but honestly I enjoy doing it. I like my coworkers and managers. so if you want to support a business that is treating its employees right then this is a good one to support. As far as customer service is concerned...
