I've been a loyal client for years now and today (9/4/2017) I went into Vogue threading lounge to get my whole face threaded before work and I got threaded by "Shreya" who I presume is New here and I have absolutely no idea why she's allowed to be by herself. I've never been treated with such lack of respect and she threaded my whole face in under 5 minutes. I was so close to causing a scene when she overly threaded my eyebrows and used excessive force when threading me. Don't trust "Shreya" to do your brows. She's the worst person at Vogue threading lounge. Trust the owner or anyone else to do your face. I will be talking with the owner next time I visit about my horrible experience. read more

Ive been getting my eyebrows threaded here for about 4 years now I love Rosie the OG! and some of the new girls aren't that bad. I had many different people thread mine feel free to tell them exactly what you don't want and how you want your eyebrows give them a try :) everybody's always after Rosie lol it is now $8 but they give out these cards when you get seven signatures and the 8th threading is free. read more

Came here expecting to be wowed by all these great reviews but that was not my case. When I arrived there was a line because there is only two Indian girls threading eyebrows. I had to wait a lil bit which I'm fine with my only complaint is that the girl who did mine literally did.not listen to how I wanted them to be shaped. I asked for them to be cleaned and kept almost at the same width but she made them so thin. I told her that I was not happy that where I regularly go they do them how I want them, but she proceeded to say my eyebrows were two different shapes. Came here for the first time and I absolutely love it. Other threading places made my eye brows too thin or the arch was way high and the the other low. She made sure that the scar on my eyebrow would be covered up and made it so it was still thick. Great price with a great quality services. Will be coming here from now on. The lady who took care of me was probably th owner. She did a great job. I was concerned because the lady that was originally assigned to me was a lady named Lupe. She seemed surprised to have been called which led me to believe that she was new and in training. I asked her how long she was there and she said not long, a few months. I can twl she was nervous. I told her to please not work win me if she's not confident I. Her abilities. So she calls the owner who ended up doing my face. I know that new people need to train, however their are ethical ways of allowing them o train with clients while also being honest with the clients by letting the, know someone is training. Offer a discounted rate of half off to allow a training gal to work on you. 4 stars for he thoroughness of threading. My face looks great. read more

I am so glad I found this hidden gem. Rosie is so nice and sweet. By far the cheapest prices I've seen (if you wanted for example lip/eyebrow, it's only $10). I asked her to keep my eyebrows the natural shape and it looked great. In case you've been waxing and have been wondering about threading... I think it feels like a fine tooth comb being run over your eyebrows. It lasts so much longer than waxing! Nice cozy clean place... and best of all, no wait. She also has a stamp system where you can get a free eyebrow after 5 visits. I will definitely be a regular! The map on yelp and google led me to the wrong plaza. This place is a hidden gem! I stumbled upon this place on yelp, desperately searching for a place to fix my unruly eyebrows. It can be a little challenging to find - I followed one of the yelp reviewers instructions, but here is my description of it: ENTER LA PLACITA, it seems like you would be entering the dollar market if there were a sign on the door marking dollar market, but it is la placita. Just go in thru the janky looking glass doors, and then go in thru the next set of doors and it should be on your right hand side if you go down the hallway a tiny bit. It took me forever to find this place, but i'm glad I did because it's pretty cheap and the quality of the service is great. not surprisingly, most of the customers here were mexican when i came in just because the area is predominantly mexican. the person who did my brows was fantastic and super friendly. Stopped by on a Sunday and Rosie was able to see me within a couple of minutes. She doesn't take apts and it is walk ins only but she is so fast that it didn't matter. I passed by this little space inside LA PLACITA while I went there to get my hairs done in a saloon ..I had never threaded my eyebrows before and when I saw the video played there I was scared but the girl there convinced me speaking little Spanish and English which was very sweet and thought of trying ...she was amazing no words my eyebrows turned out so beautiful I never imagined ..she was very gentle polite and friendly ..it didn't even hurt me and a big difference between threading and waxing eyebrows...I'm very happy with the job ...thankyou so much read more

Hands down amazing. Was very skeptical about getting my eyebrows threaded. I normally wax because almost all of my friends say threading is extremely painful. That is truly not the case here. I usually go somewhere else, but I was working near the area, and needed my brows done. Overall, my experience was pleasant, however I would only come back if absolutely necessary. I was left a little patchy, and my sides are uneven. My skin also doesn't look or feel as clean as it usually does after I have threading done. needless to say, I will be sticking to my regular person, at least I know there's a spot in case of an emergency. read more

This was my first time here , I came to get my eyebrows done as my usual lady is out of town .. the lady doing my eyebrows did them in about 5 min or less and did a very poor job , usually when i am done my skin around my eyebrows feels smooth (obviously cause there is no hair) where i can still feel fuzz, after i walked out to the car i looked into my car mirror and could still see hairs which i used my tweezers to pull out ... don't get me wrong i am not too worked up about it since the service is fairly cheap (8$) but i am not going to be returning. read more

I've been to Evergreen threading and Pulvy Boutique. I think this place is way better than those two. It's clean, fast, and not as busy as Evergreen threading. They even wipe the gel stuff after threading for you. Its cheaper than those two places too. This place is inside an indoor market sort of place. Went on a Sunday so parking was a pain since everybody was out w/their fams. I followed the advice of another yelper and walked through the jewelry store. After a short walk, you turn left and you'll see the eyebrow poster/sign. -Man at the counter was the most pleasant encounter from this experience. Even though it looked busy, only 2 people were ahead of me and I was next before I knew it. -Lady was nice. She worked fast. From most of my experiences, they thread first and then ask you to tug your eyelids. This lady right away asked me to tug which I thought was kinda different. Have no clue if it makes a diff. -Quality/Detail: This is where they should improve on. Yeah I get its only $7, but she didn't get nearly as close as to my brows as I would like. She left some small hairs which I didn't notice until I got to the car because she didn't even brush off the excess hairs from my face=_= Like. You literally get a tissues and wipe a person down. I grabbed the tissue that she left on my chest and did it myself. -She did offer me aloe after she was done. I prefer witch hazel since its more natural moisturizing toner whereas the bottle of blue-ish/green aloe on her counter looked artificially suspicious.
