I have literally NEVER had worse service. We came in to celebrate a campus award for our daughter arriving around 4:30pm. It took quite a while to be seated, a long time to get a glass of water, menus, other drinks and the waitress was very unhelpful and unfriendly. We were nearly 45 min in when we actually got to order food. We planned to get an appetizer but changed our mind and opted to just get our food order in as soon as we could get the waitress to actually come take it. Salads came out in a reasonable time but when the pizzas came, my husband was given the wrong pizza. The waitress set it down and left quickly so we had to track her down and ask if that was the Big Stick he had ordered. She rudely snapped "No, that's a supreme!" He said, "That's not what I ordered. I wanted The Big Stick." She said, "You mean you don't want that?" He replied "No, it isn't what I ordered." She snatched it up and walked away. 40 minutes later after the entire rest of our group had completely finished eating, she still hadn't even given him an update regarding his food. I stopped her again, asking for more iced tea and to ask about his food. She said, "it should be out soon" and walked away. No pizzas were in their pizza oven. We saw her ask about the pizza and then witnessed her speaking to someone appearing to be the manager. She never came back to our table. I stopped the manager and asked if we could simply have our ticket so we could leave. The manager was attempting to walk past us when I caught her and asked. Her excuse was that she was just informed there was an issue and she would give my husband his pizza to go without charge. No apology was ever offered by anyone and we spent 2 HOURS in this place for what should have been a special and quick dinner. We got a $10 pizza for free and for the first time in longer than I can remember, we did not leave a tip. read more

Going upstairs for the view is one of my favorite things to do. The customer service is spotty and the drinks are WAY overpriced--so pre-game then order their cheapest beer if anything at all. Several false " openings" with the doors open and then told it was a " private party", and when it did finally open, I was hoping for some quality food and atmosphere. Neither made us decide it's not for us. The restaurant that preceded this place (TOTO'S) was authentic Italian from Bari, Italy. Victor and his brother, Patsy had the original OTHELLOS and TOTO's was owned by his brother, Victor. They had a long run in Norman, with food and unique service. We hoped with all the high end equipment and rebuilding of the spot, there would be another unique place for good Italian and a warm ambience. Instead, their management was so messed up to start, even the hired help were told to report to work and then sent away because they weren't " ready". Who does that?? We tried it twice since. Our pizza was burnt on the outside and raw in the middle. It was so dark inside you couldn't really see what they were serving at other tables, and the acoustics were echoed and bad for any table conversations. The attitude we got upon actually being seated was that YOU were lucky they let you in. Too many other good places on campus and in town to bother with it. read more

Ehhh... not a huge fan. Atmosphere: 3 stars I was part of a group of 5. We went on a Sunday night at 5pm, so the restaurant was pretty empty. They crammed us at a table for 4. I didn't scour the entire place, but I didn't really see any better options... just tables for 4. For a place on campus corner, that's a poor choice for a restaurant. We were told they had a rooftop, but it was about 45 degrees, so we said no. I'm not sure if they had better options up top. We sat on the mezzanine, which had a cool view of a pretty awesome looking bar. Being a 30s something, they had some really great music our group enjoyed, with lots of laid back 90's and early 2000's rock. They also had nice big TVs and some unique lighting. The chairs though... so uncomfortable! I mentioned it first, and everyone in our group quickly agreed and said their butt hurt. My back was also starting to really hurt. Menu: 4 stars They have lots of choices: small plates/appetizers, salads and sandwiches, and a pretty big selection of pizzas. I'm not a huge pizza fan, and need lots of protein, and they didn't really have any meaty pizzas. So I didn't get to try the pizza. I didn't get a chance to look at the drink menu or prices. Food (most important): 3 stars I opted for the Volare ($10). It's not clear, but it's a sandwich. It doesn't say, but it comes on what I think was sourdough bread, which I'm not a fan of. It was basically a greasy grilled cheese with a little bit of slow braised short rib meat on it. It had a side of the crack fries with Parmesan, garlic, and pepper. It was a decent amount of food for $10. Everyone else ordered pizzas. Hubby described the pizza as European style (not a lot of toppings, but good bread). I wasn't impressed and wouldn't go back, but he said he was willing to give it another try. One friend commented his pizza lacked flavor. We also got crack fries ($6) as an appetizer, and they were everyone's favorite part of the meal. There were a lot! And we got the Cheese Me ($5). This had the potential to be really good, but it was lukewarm, and on the verge of being cold by the time it got to us. Service: 4 stars My only complaint was the guy kept forgetting we were a party of 5. So we only got 4 plates, 4 sets of silverware, and 4 drinks. Our group also commented he was always in a hurry to leave. People wanted to order drinks. We had to call him back. After one person ordered a beer, and tried to leave again, but more people wanted beers. Other than that, he did a fine job keeping drinks full, and the food came out pretty quick. Price: 5 stars For the quality and quantity of food, I felt the prices were very reasonable. My hubby's beer was $4.something. The pizzas range from $7-$13, and most are around $10. They are single serve, but only one person was able to finish their entire pizza. Overall: 3 stars The food wasn't awful, but the uncomfortable seating and mediocre food does not lead me wanting to go back. read more

The pizzas here are delicious and the waitstaff is very good. This is The Best View of campus in Norman! It's amazing to sit on the patio and look across the beautiful campus of the University of Oklahoma. I loved when it was cooler weather outside and I was offered a heavy indian blanket (had to give my driver's license as a reminder to give it back - lol! But it was so great to be taken care of like that. I also love the private rooms inside the restaurant - even an entire floor full of eclectic furniture and fun waitstaff. This is a definite YES and we have taken many friends and family here to enjoy the view and the food! read more

Well...they have a nice location and we do enjoy the roof top bar...however the 3x we have been here and we live in Norman as well.. however the 1st time we came here we were served a wrong order..and I ordered a beer and the bartender looked for 10 mins for that brand and then was told they didnt carry it...so I figured they are new and staff is ill trained. Then we go back on another day and the entire 3 story restaurant is closed for a 450 person party. So again we go back and then have a moose of a security guard talk speak rude to me.. regarding roof access.. so needless to say we left again..and another time we try to go back we thought, lets call maybe less drama..nope the young lady answered and just hangs up on me..so its a nice place when and if you can get in and deal with wrong orders and long delays..I feel this is a reflection of the owner or the senior leadership like the GM or shift mgr's for poor training and knowledge transfer. I am sure my post will not stop the college crowd but maybe for locals that have money and spend it in norman..the owner might want to sit up and take notice of his mismanagement. read more

I was excited to check this place out due to the multi-level building and my own obsession with pizza, but it wasn't the greatest experience ever. Firstly, make sure you don't visit this place on a game-day, lol. The menu is different on game days and the place is overwhelmingly crowded. Staff seems to be a bit overwhelmed with the amount of patrons to take care of, but that's clearly expected when you're serving such a high volume of foodies. We decided to come back when it was a "normal day" menu and still found that the staff was not the most attentive. It takes a little while before someone greets you when you walk in and the service throughout the evening was not the best. The pizza is good (not better than Hall's or Empire in the City, but it's good for Norman) but does come in smaller portion sizes for the price. It's still a decent experience and I think this place could be great with some fine-tuning in the management department. read more

I have to say I really enjoyed my visit here. The building is beautiful and the service was good. I order the popper appetizer and it was my favorite thing there. I also ordered some cocktails which were fine as well. My main complaint is that the vegan pizza was just poorly put together. The flavor profile is delicious, the presentation was just awful. The crust was moist and couldn't support the weight of the pizza. The nutritional yeast was just sprinkled on top of the pizza, and the leafy greens weren't cut down at all. I really liked this place but I ordered a lasagna the other day and it was just cheese. The entire top part was burned and hard so I could cut it and there were no noodles or meat in it. It was awful. I had taken it to go and I live only a few minutes away- the food was still warm but the whole thing was a red sauce and cheese mess. Impossible to eat I got a few flecks of meat in the side of the dish towards the end of my picking it apart in hopes of getting past the cheese. It was as if someone had layered mozzarella and ricotta and covered it in sauce and nothing else went into it. Very disappointing because I like so much of their other dishes so far. It's my 5th time being there and for an 11$ pasta dish this just wasn't worth it. I wouldn't of paid 5$ for it. It's not that you shouldn't go here just be careful what you order - especially if it's to go. The wait staff also never gives me napkins/ a bag/ or utensils when I order to go. It's very annoying when they are busy to wait 5 minutes after they hand you a to go box and you have to wait to ask for a fork/ knife / napkins/ etc. It's a weird way they do business. So be wary to ask for it when you order it to ask quickly when they hand it to you before they walk away. read more

Best brick oven pizza in town! The ambiance is great and the rooftop is our favorite place to hang out! We've tried nearly everything on the menu and have never been dissapointed. My favorite appetizers are the ricotta bruchetta and the toasted ravioli. Their homemade cheese and sauce are really what make these dishes special. read more

Update: went twice more. The salads are pretty good, if a little on the sweet side. Worth a visit for the salads. As far as pizzas are concerned, I don't think I'll be going there again; the flavors aren't balanced at all in any of the pizzas I've tried there. While that may not be a concern for everyone, the pizzas come out of the oven pooled in grease, which also overpowers any of the quality cheese flavors they've added to the pie and also leaves the crust soggy and gross. I wish I could say it was a fluke, but 3/3 bad pizzas aren't helping to build a good case for that. Get Pizza Shuttle or Hideaway if you want pizza badly enough. Better yet, hike it up to Empire Slice or Upper Crust and get some fantastic pizzas before you come here. read more

Lovely fast fired pizza! Great selection of pizzas, with and without red sauce. Lots of vegetarian options, that are delicious and well thought out. We went on a Tuesday, they have two dollar specials on appetizers and drinks. They have three levels of dining the roof, mezzanine and ground floor. All have a different vibe so you can have the experience you want. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was delivered quickly and cooked to perfection. Most of the waiters or waitresses aren't super friendly or personable but the appetizers are amazing. Love almost everyone single one of them and there are so many to choose from! They have so many appetizers that you could go at least 10 times and try a couple at a time and still not get through the list! Pizza is pretty good, I think it's Neapolitan style pizza! Most people really like it. I tried the vodka penne pasta on my last visit after hearing from friends that it was super yummy. I felt like it lacked flavor? I like a good amount of sauce and it had a little less than what I would have wanted and I asked for more but never received any. It wasn't super busy and we sat on the second level which has super dark lightning. We were sat right across from a closet door employees kept opening and closing during our meal which was distracting but also not terrible because when the door was open I could actually see my date and dinner from the super bright light!
