When I find a new one, does she say this is the original Apple charging cable? Finally, the car system was restored to the factory settings, and CarPlay started to work. There was no problem with my charging cable. I want to wholeheartedly recommend Volkswagen Pasadena because of the recent experience purchasing my 2019 Tiguan. We all have some level of anxiety going to a car dealership, I'm no different. My way of dealing with it is being an educated consumer, know what I want, shop around, know what how much you're willing to give as a down payment, finally know your credit score! This helped me a lot, and to be honest it helps EVERYONE at the dealership as well. On a Thursday I went to Volkswagen Pasadena, Arsalan came out to greet me in the lot, I let him know what I was looking for, referring to the models I was interest in from the Volkswagen Pasadena website. I looked at the 4 different vehicles, confirmed the prices and let Arsalan and his colleague John that I would be back Saturday morning to get one of them. Prior to returning to Volkswagen Pasadena, I went online and applied for financing through Volkswagen Credit, again, knowing where I stood, which would make Saturday go faster. Also spoke to my auto insurance company, gave them the model, and the list of VIN numbers I was considering so I was covered. Once I walked in, I took a ride in the model I wanted (2 of my 4 choices were sold), went back into the dealership, where Arsalan began the paperwork. I gave him the reference number from Volkswagen Credit, agreed on the price, and John informed me it was a done deal. I called my insurance company and they faxed over proof of coverage to the dealership, and a copy for me. As Arsalan prepared my vehicle, the final financing paperwork was ready to go when I sat down with the Finance Manager Jamal. Jamal went over various discounted value added future scheduled maintenance and other options I could purchase now, low key, no pressure, very professional, in general I enjoyed our conversation. Arsalan informed me my car was ready and we were out to my new Tiguan! Arsalan went over the features, synced my phone to my car, stopping frequently to see if I had any questions. Then it was over. Service is great. I brought my 2023 Tiguan to VW Pasadena on 6/18 to repair a simple flat tire since I have tire and wheel protection. Kingsun was my Service Technican. He was very up front to inform me that the service department was tight but he would try to get the flat fixed as soon as possible. The tire was fixed in a relatively short period. He had the vehicle washed and personally delivered the fixed and spotless vehicle to me. He went beyond what one would expect form a Service Technican. Also I was watching from a far and the mechanic that fixed the flat was very through. The vehicle was on the lift and he slowly spun the tire spraying water to see if there were additional leaks which there weren't. VW Pasadena ensures the customer is well taken care of and a repair job is done right. Finally, if you have time, listen to Kingsun's stories. They are enlightening and entertain. As part of the deal the sales manager agreed to a free oil change for my Jetta and gave me a voucher. I attempted to redeem the voucher and found out it was not valid without the service managers ok. I tried contacting the sales manager four times and he has not returned any of my messages, both text and voicemail. I recently bought a new 2019 Jetta. And to my surprise there was a clicking noise coming from the AC on the passenger side. I took it in for inspection to my original VW dealer where I purchased the car, and after two appointments they tried to convince me that the noise was normal and that "all their Jetta's make this noise, some more than others." After trying to explain to them that their reasoning (or excuse, however you see it) didn't make any sense since the clicking noise was intermittent. I felt cheated and frustrated, having to now drive around with an annoying defect in a brand new car. Not content with how things went down, I decided to try another VW dealership (Pasadena) and man am I glad I did. Not only did they actually listen to my concern, they acknowledged it was a defect despite it being a new car and after their 1st inspection, told me they were going to order a new part that might alleviate the issue. Got my car back a day later and could ya believe it? The sound was gone. They even explained to me what they did and told me to call them if the sound comes back. This is in regards to feedback/comments about the level of service received by one of your associates on today's attempt made at a test drive of a VW Passat. My brother in law, a 32 year old graphic designer, is in search of a new car. He went out today to see his options and test drive vehicles he had done research on. The Passat was one of those vehicles, especially considering he has had a 2005 GTI for about 10 years. In order to avoid the hassle of dealing with a salesman he was upfront and transparent about what he wanted to do, which was test drive a car and not buy today. He was turned away by an older Armenian gentlemen who told him to come back when he was serious about buying a car. Not only is he serious about buying a car, but will be buying one within the week. Needless to say his experience with VW and this particular dealership was an unpleasant one. We are looking at other options, and am giving you this feedback so sales associates like this one won't turn away other potential customers you may have. I don't think one person represents your overall brand. The unfortunate part is for a young man who is very connected within the social media realm as a graphic designer the imprint your sales associate created may have an impact towards future customers or word of mouth. read more
