Great little restaurant-it was nice and clean! We had Bibimbap, mandoo and we brought home chicken wings. The bibimbap was very tasty, mandoo seemed homemade and was really good! The chicken wings original mild was seasoned really well and cooked to perfection. The service was excellent. The waitress was so sweet and accommodating and the cook came out to say hi and check on the patrons. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a delicious Korean meal. Really good crispy chicken. We got the crispy Yang nyeom chicken and the crispy garlic chicken. Sadly the garlic chicken was finished before I got a picture. Both were very good. Both were somewhat sweet which I enjoyed. It came with a side of cole slaw and I believe pickled radish. The customer service was really good super friendly. The inside was pretty standard and clean. Seems like a good place to go with friends. Very good for casual dinners or lunches. Very surprised at how little people were there. A criminally under rated hidden gem spot. The food was really good until the cook who I think he was the owner came over to our table and started to add hot to my hot stone bip and bop. I even told him no a couple of times and he still continued taking a spoon and mushing it all together which I don't like to eat it that way. What was to be my husband treating me to be a surprise night out on a meal that I enjoy was ruined. We must have gone on off night, but the best I can say is it was edible. My pork katsu was so flat you could barely see the pork, maybe1/16 inch thick. And so over cooked it was dry and difficult to cut. My husband go the crispy chicken and again, overcooked and dry. It takes a lot of cooking to make drumsticks dry. read more

I have been there at least 7 or 8 times since they have opened. This last time though was exceptionally good. We both had the bibimbap again. The stone bowl was so hot that I was able to let the rice sit on the bottom and get super crispy!! I wish it had a little more meat though. We also shared wings with the Vons special sauce. Everything was delicious. I have taken so many people here so they can experience Korean fried chicken. I have tried many of their sauces/dry rubs. I will say I wasn't a fan of the honey butter chicken mostly because it was a dry rub. (weird when you think of a dry rub butter ) But everything else has been great. We've been looking for a good chicken place for a while and no luck until tonight! We have a Vons back home, so we were super happy to see that one opened here again. Though its slightly different from what ours is like back home it was still such a good find! We ordered 2 different kinds of the crispy chicken and we were very satisfied. This by far some of the best Korean fried chicken..even better than in most restaurants in K-town, LA & OC in CA for kfc! I couldn't wait to get back and get my fave crispy fried chicken! My grandson is a picky eater, and this is his biggest request to get food from. The bimbim bap is fresh and delicious! The japchae and mandoo are pretty standard. I do like that you can choose between chicken or beef japchae. The owner is always friendly..same one from Boise location, just moved restaurant to Meridian (Closer to my house! Yay!). The only, and I mean only, bummer is that they don't offer kimchee. The radish and slaw is yummy, but this lady needs her kimchee! I'm sure my family doesn't mind it, as if you've ever smelled it, you'll understand why. lol! I can make this crispy friend chicken with the sauce it's rolled in, but why when I can just go to Von's!
