    Kimbap and fried chicken combo
    Christine S.

Favorite korean fried chicken spot - my favorite flavors are the honey butter and garlic wings. The chicken is pretty consistent and fresh (recommend dining in person instead of getting takeout, so it doesn't get soggy) and the combos are a decent deal. We got the seafood kalguksu (a bit pricey at $18) and the kimbap and 4 piece chicken combo, which was surprisingly filling

Went here for dinner the other night. Was ok. Pros: clean restaurant, fried chicken... always a good thing. Cons: service wasn't consistent. Friendly, yes, but also forgetful... ordered items were forgotten, even after multiple reminders. And, maybe they do this to everyone, but, I was reminded to actually sign the credit card slip, which I thought was weird. I've never been reminded of that before, and yes, it did rub me the wrong way.... Maybe they've had issues, so it's part of their routine, but I was taken aback by the remark.

Fantastic kimbap & tasty boneless garlic, radish, coleslaw combo with fruity mango cart beer. Drink responsibly. You can catch up on a sports watch game that's on...a variety of amazing menu off Grant Road, very close to my very 1st apt way back. How times have certainly changed. Thanks Sena, Labelle, & chefs for a quick service. Great & clean place!

VONS CHICKEN YOU SAVED ME!! I came out of an extremely disappointing Yelp event and was desperately hungry for some good food -- ordered crispy chicken for pick up $16.99 for 3 drums and 4 wings. The order was pretty much ready in the 10 minutes it took for me to drive over and I devoured that box within minutes sitting in my car. I'm pretty sure I dripped some sauce all over and burned my tongue but man oh man, I had never been so happy to taste some damn delicious fried chicken. What I love about Vons is that crispy chicken skin!!! Oh my god... I'm sad a small box can get eaten up so quickly! The crispy flavor is perfectly savory and I love that you can customize the spice level, although I can eat one more spicy level up!! Service was very friendly and efficient. The restaurant is fairly spacious with nobody dining in on a Wednesday after work. This fried chicken definitely needs to be enjoyed immediately. Drive yourself over and dive into some crunchy tastiness!!

At Vons Chicken, we always go for the honey butter fried chicken. This time, we tried the garlic chicken, expecting it to be like garlic soy, but it pleasantly surprised us with a sweet garlic puree. The wings were hot and crunchy. We also ordered the chicken cheese tteokbokki, which was decent but nothing to rave about. It was a really hot day, and they didn't have the AC on, which affected our comfort. There's plenty of seating and TVs to watch the game (and cartoons like Tom and Jerry!) Lots of parking since it's in a plaza. The server was nice, checked in a couple of times, and was a good conversationalist. From a price perspective it is a bit expensive (8 wings for 17+) but you definitely feel the quality and get a lot of meat. I do think maybe a large will be a better bang for your buck, but we opted for two smalls to diversify our flavor selection.

Came here while passing by after grabbing Starbucks and food from the Japanese market. This is the biggest and nicest interior or a Von's chicken i've been to. Quickly greeted and the person helped us order tho there r self order kiosks as well. We tried the oven roasted this time and it was pretty good! Lots of flavor and comes with cold slaw and radishes.

This Vons has plenty of tables and space I love the decor inside very clean and modern. Large screen TVs that play Korean shows. Tables can accommodate large groups too. I also see they have drinks on tap. Would definitely come back to this place and try their sides. The best is the friendly staff who greet you the minute you walk in the door.

What a great place for chicken! Whenever my friends want chicken I usually recommend this place because it is so delicious! I love the crisp, the texture, and overall bite of their chicken! Even if you leave it out for couple hours, the skin is still crispy. Their popular choice of honey butter is the reason why I keep coming back! Their garlic and cheeses are also popular choice but that honey butter! Honestly even their original and their oven baked chicken are also delicious so you cannot go wrong in ordering whatever! Even their kimbap is good. Need to come here and try it out!

Solid 4.5 for eat in! Good and fast service. Crispy chicken is the star. The kimbap is pretty good. I wished they have options for kimbap. Ramen is a skip. Every time I'm here it is empty. Mostly take out or delivery. I can't imagine crispy chicken stays that crispy after a car ride.

Came here on a Monday afternoon and the place was empty so service was super quick. The restaurant is really nicely decorated and they have the most comfortable chairs. We ordered garlic chicken and cheese chicken, sweet potato fries, Mandu, and fried cheese balls. Everything tasted really good and we had plenty of leftovers to take home for dinner. We'll probably order less next time and try different things, but we will be back for sure.

1/3/23 Vons Chicken Mountain View 137 E El Camino Real Mountain View, CA 94040 This is a new place in the Mountain View Shopping Center next to the Smart & Final. I was looking for a hot dog and saw that they featured a Korean Hot Dog, which I never had. The layout is long, narrow and spacious for indoor dining with clean and modern furnishings. I ordered my Dog at the counter along with the small Crispy Yangnyum Chicken drumsticks to go. My food was brought to my table by the friendly and helpful Aileen. I was expecting a corn dog but was surprised with what I got; mostly deep fried cheese with a small chicken filled sausage (like a small Vienna sausage) on a stick. I filled up on my lactase pills and ate the gooey things. The tiny sausages were tasteless mystery meat but if you like cheese you might like it. Mountain View remains a hot dog wasteland. The spicy crispy chicken was very good and came with a tub of pickled daikon. It was sweet, crispy and mouth burning hot; which was okay for me. The pickles help with killing the residual heat. I paid at the register when I left. I'll never get a Korean Dog again, from anywhere. The crispy Yangnyum chicken is repeatable and there are more fried and roasted items on their menu to try. Interestingly they don't offer thighs.

I picked this restaurant because of its location, its spacious parking lot, and that they're not too crowded on weekends. We got a corner table inside a big room. Not only were they not completely full, the spacing between tables were pretty good as well. Staff were super friendly. It's a perfect place for us to catch up with each other without feeling rushed nor guilty. All four of us ordered the organic tofu soup. I had the mushroom one (medium spicy). It came piping hot with a raw egg. It was the perfect spicy level for me. (One of us ordered hot, and said that it was quite a bit more spicy than she expected.) I loved the assorted mushrooms inside my tofu soup. My friends all enjoyed their selections as well, and we loved the texture of the purple rice. The amount of ingredients inside the tofu soup was pretty generous. We also got refills for our banchans. There're 5 different kinds of banchans. They're on the sweeter side and not as flavorful as I would like, though. Overall, it's a delicious and satisfying lunch, and we all had a good time.

The…read moresetup is actually pretty cool because you get your own individual hot pot so you don't have to share broth, but there's still a shared grill in the middle for the BBQ. The all-you-can-eat is the move here. The meat quality is solid--the wagyu beef and spicy pork belly usually hit the spot on the grill. On the hot pot side, the pork bone broth is a safe bet, and the spicy broth actually has a decent kick to it. Also, they have those little fried buns with condensed milk that are dangerously good. They give ice cream at the end with a cone which is sweet dessert. The vibe is super lively and loud, definitely not a quiet dinner spot. They even have those robots rolling around bringing out plates, which is kind of funny to watch. Service is quick; you just order everything on your phone and it shows up fast. Just remember the 90 minute limit. It's clean, modern, and you'll definitely leave feeling like you need a nap. I understand that it might be intentional so it can be customizable from the big variety of sauces at the sauce bar. But I would say its very lacking. No salt, no depth. Almost like flavored water. - Portions are okay. It's AYCE so it makes sense that their portions are smaller. but it is much smaller than places ive been to. Please be mindful when you decide which meat to be on the grill as majority of them is to be for hotpot. so it will dissolve on the grill the moment you realize it. - Meat quality is fine for AYCE. However there are some thats a bit questioning. The spicy beef is just the thinniest slices that are marinaded in the chili oil. But after cooking the texture and even flavor is very very off. I highly recommend getting the Finger Cubes BBQ (i think), nice blend of fat and meat and def the most flavorful. - ORDERING SYSTEM is a nightmare. Since the portions are so small, you would have to order multiple rounds and there is a time block apparently so you dont over order. But the system is so slow and not intuitive at all. At first i thought they are just opened and would give it some time to improve. But now i dont see myself coming back at all.
