I always enjoy this place. Fast seating, lively service, and you can order from the phone. They're wide variety of both hotpot and kbbq allows everyone at the table to have a choice in what they're feeling like. I've been to a lot of ayce and never seen a wide variety of assortments on a menu like this.

Always great when you don't have to go to San Francisco or San Jose for good hot pot. Location is in downtown Mountain View and gets busy really quick. Came on a Saturday night and it was super busy, but worth the wait once you're seated. They have a qr code that you scan to place your order for the table and it's 5 items at a time. Great quality meats and ice cream after for under $50. Warning please ignore the your table is ready text if you're not next in line. Even though your text says table ready most of the time it's not. Something I've noticed every time I've come, so I just check in with the greeter and wait for them to call my name.

I've always wanted to try this place for a super super long tim. See what I did with the super over here. Well anyways... I finally got the chance to check this place out. I think I waited like 10 years to try this place. For me I've tried so many hot pot and kbbq combination places. I think this has become my favorite. They give you the typical 90 minutes to eat for AYCE for about 38 bucks which is a pretty good deal in this day and age, not cheap but not that crazy expensive. I usually get the mala soup base for hot pot but I decided to veer towards a different direction and I went with the tom yum soup flavor and it was good, I usually don't really drink the soup for hot pot but this one I did because it had that lime flavor that I enjoy from tom yum flavor. The meat quality for their hot pot was decent, I think they quality for their hot pot meat was better than their grilled ones but the kbbq meat was still quite good. You order through phone and they have a whole system in place, but one bit of advice it will hell you to check in with your server if one of your orders is taking a while, but they still delivered at the end and service is fairly good here. This place was definitely inspired by Supreme so very 2010s place, which is cool and even though the place looked small from the outside it felt spacious and I didn't even know they had a whole back room with more seating so yeah this place is big. My favorites were the fatty flank and beef fingers for the grill Hot pot the highlight was the soup and their ribeye cuts were delicious Sauce section is to the side and you make your own. But overall pretty good. The bonus is that there is a comp ice cream at the end, they told us that the flavor is different each time. We ended up getting mint chocolate which is hugely underrated ice cream favor. Real ones appreciate the mint!

10000/10 BIG BOOMS FOR THEIR SERVICE. Service was literally impeccable and they run like a well oiled machine :) This is my mommy's favorite restaurant and lowkey might be mine as the variety+free desserts at the end is amazebeans. The quality is pretty good for an ayce and very affordable at 38p/per. I stack up on the galbi for the bbq and beef belly for the hotpot. The taro balls, condensed milk buns, and ice cream at the end defff are the perfect touch to raise my diabetes. OVERALL I SHALL BE BACK TEEHEE ;)

This place can get busy so be wary! It is in a walkable area though so you can walk around and see the other restaurants and some boba shops. Food (4/5): They are ayce and pretty good. They have a wide variety of protein, veggies, and even dessert! We really liked the bun, sesame seeds, and taro balls. Parking (3/5): There's plenty of parking lots nearby but it can get packed. Most are free though! Service (5/5): They switched to qr ordering and they are FAST.

When my friend and I forest arrived, the host quickly explained the service and it was a bit confusing but we realized that it was all you can eat, which isn't too hard to understand we just didn't know the price The quality of the food was good. We really enjoyed the brisket, short ribs, and beef/pork belly. Also having the option to do hot pot was also nice since we got to have our meat in the soup as well. The ambiance of the place felt very Bay Area and their logo was placed everywhere which isn't a bad thing in my opinion. Something I really enjoyed was the ice cream at the end.

As someone who hasn't been around Korean BBQ in years, I was happy that their hot pot selection was fairly robust and allowed me to have a pretty substantial meal for $36. My friends and I came here around 17:30 and were able to nab a seat. I think anyone coming after 18:00 should expect a wait and to sign-in on the Yelp waitlist ASAP. You first select your individual hot pot broth before then picking up to 7 items to order from the menu. They have the usual meat options as well as veggies, noodles, and a special menu with app items. Their veggies and plant-based protein choices were quite impressive. Lots of leafy greens to choose from, a ton of tofu and curd options, and even some steamed dumplings. I ended up ordering a lot of greens plus frozen tofu and their hand-pulled noodles, and was stuffed by the end of the 90 minutes. Sauce station was near the door which wasn't the best location if I'm being honest, but the options are quite robust. As a vegan, I already knew what sauces were and weren't suitable for me, but I'd recommend googling something you're unfamiliar with if you aren't wanting to consume something containing fish sauce or shrimp paste, etc. For a place that has this many options for plant-based eaters, I can't deny that they really did hit the spot and had something for everyone.

I hardly ever give 5 star reviews but after trying a bunch of different hot pot/KBbq places across California and Las Vegas, this is still one of not my very favorite. The service seems to always be very prompt here, they come back quickly and frequently to see if you want to order more. They do limit the number of items you can order at once but they come back so frequently it's not a big deal. We always get here right at opening for dinner and have always gotten seated right away even with the line outside. On to the food, they have a very big menu with lots of different choices for both the grill and hot pot. I love that they have individual hot pots and quite a few soup choices to pick from that a lot of places don't offer. I always pick the curry broth and my sister likes the Tom Yum. Their meat is decent quality and have a lot of beef, pork, and chicken options. They also have a large variety of veggies, noodles, and seafood to pick from as well. Their cooked food menu is also pretty extensive and everything always comes out hot and fresh. They now offer fried rice as a choice too. Their beef pancake, XLB, veggie dumplings, Chinese donut, and pumpkin mochi are a few of the cooked foods we love. This is also one of the few AYCE hot pots/KBbq that have dessert. They give one scoop of ice cream for each person but they also have some dessert items on the menu you can order too such as the fried buns with condensed milk and pumpkin mochi. They have a lot of large tables for big groups and some small tables as well. There's a sauce bar and the bathroom is usually clean. Overall based on service, their extensive menu, and food quality this is still one of my favorites!

Just went to Superhot for the first time and got to try both AYCE hotpot & bbq at the same time. It's normally one or the other at most places. Join the online Yelp waitlist prior to arrival for faster seating. Didn't realize they have a special table that has birthday sign decor! Will request that next time. We were served by Osvaldo and he is amazing! Excellent service and he treated us like regulars. Would definitely ask to be seated in his area again next time. Each round, choose five meats and five of everything else like noodles, veggies, sides, dessert, etc. Our order: Miso broth Bone broth Kimchi broth Mushroom broth Brisket American Wagyu Beef Belly Short Rib Ribeye Beef Tongue Lamb Shrimp paste Mushrooms: enoki, king, black fungus, shiitake Quail Eggs Corn Bok choy Spinach Tofu puffs Fishball w/ roe Shrimp head on Tripe Three flavors dumpling: chives, shrimp, pork Biang Biang (hand pulled?) noodles Ramen Rice paper Fried dough (Chinese donut) Popcorn chicken Japchae Cookies n Cream ice cream cones Yogurt flavored soju to share The menu is extensive and I totally forgot to order fried potstickers. Next time! Love the variety of items to order and there's a sauce bar to mix/match ingredients. They even have raw eggs to add to your hot pot! My sauce mix of choice includes: Minced garlic Chili oil Sesame oil Sesame sauce Mushroom sauce Ponzu Green onions The cookies n cream ice cream cones ended the meal on such a cool, sweet note! I shall return!

Servers here were friendly and attentive, always refilling water and hot pot broth and changing the grills when needed. Sauce bar had many different options which I loved. I enjoyed ordering through the phone so we could pace our meat as needed. Food came out quickly whenever we placed our orders. I love that they had many options here, but the meat quality wasn't great. There wasn't anything that made me want to order another portion of. Love that they gave strawberry ice cream at the end.

If you're in Mountain View and can't decide between hot pot or KBBQ, this place is a lifesaver. The setup is actually pretty cool because you get your own individual hot pot so you don't have to share broth, but there's still a shared grill in the middle for the BBQ. The all-you-can-eat is the move here. The meat quality is solid--the wagyu beef and spicy pork belly usually hit the spot on the grill. On the hot pot side, the pork bone broth is a safe bet, and the spicy broth actually has a decent kick to it. Also, they have those little fried buns with condensed milk that are dangerously good. They give ice cream at the end with a cone which is sweet dessert. The vibe is super lively and loud, definitely not a quiet dinner spot. They even have those robots rolling around bringing out plates, which is kind of funny to watch. Service is quick; you just order everything on your phone and it shows up fast. Just remember the 90 minute limit. It's clean, modern, and you'll definitely leave feeling like you need a nap. Great spot to hit with a group if you're looking to get a lot of food without breaking the bank.

The highlight of the restaurant is its service. The servers always come by quickly to get more orders and make sure you leave full. Unfortunately the food quality is unremarkable but is fine for the price Pros - Large menu with lots of choices - The servers were kind and came by the table frequently - The food came out quickly Cons - I tried over ten different cuts of meat and none of their quality was particularly good. This is somewhat expected at an affordable(ish) AYCE place but I was just a little disappointed that there wasn't a dish I really liked

It's been years since my review of SuperHot back in 2019. I did go once in 2022 with my guy friend, and I remembered that it was pretty good that time. This past Sunday I was craving Mumu Hot Pot, but unfortunately they were closed due to renovation so we ended up coming here. We were seated right away as they were not that busy during the lunch time. Our servers were nice and pretty attentive with changing our grills and asking if we'd like to order some more items. The price now is $38.99 for AYCE versus back in 2019- it was $29.99. I get it...inflation. That's okay. What we didn't like was the broth and bulgogi. We got the House Spicy broth, which only tasted spicy and no flavor. It was bland and spicy. Then the bulgogi was too salty so we didn't order more of that one. We did like the galbi and the spicy pork belly. Those two were flavorful. We also like the biang biang noodle and the veggies- napa cabbage, corn, pumpkin, lotus root, enoki mushroom. We also two drinks, Thai iced tea and HK lemon tea, which were refreshing. One of our servers asked if I was married, and then he talked about dating advice, which was kind of funny. Lol I didn't mind it. He brought me an extra ice cream cone so that was definitely a bonus! Hehe We do love how they added a dessert now after the meal so we chose the strawberry ice cream cone. Delish! The place still looks the same with the bold red and black decor.

Ask the Community - Superhot Hotpot & Korean BBQ

Do you have gluten free broth?

    Yes

Do they take reservations for a party of 10?

Yes they take reservations of 6 people or more.

Is there a time limit for dining in?

    90 minutes!

Is it possible to not order AYCE? Is the menu online anywhere?

    No.

How much time in advance should we sign up on the wait list for a party of 11, 7:30pm target on a Sat night?

They do honor your Yelp waitlist as long as you show up in a reasonable time. As far as reserving for a party of more than 6 people, just call in and rsvp at least 1-2 days before.

    Is there parking?

There is no private parking for the customer however there is plenty of public/street parking. One parking lot is located on Blossom Lane which is very close to the restaurant. There are also three parking lots along Hope Street as well.

Do you open on Thursday Nov-24 ? If so can we reserve it online? Thanks!

Yes. They will be open on Thanksgiving day, regular hours.

Can you order Korean bbq and hot pot at the same time?

Yes! I was able to enjoy both!

Is it all you can eat?

Yes it is for either hotpot or KBBQ or both. $33 per person

    Can i eat alone?

Yup! But come hungry then you'll get your $$ worth.

Is there outdoor dining? If so are there many tables for outdoor dining?

No there is no outdoor dining

How much per person for AYCE at dinner time?

    around 40

Are there any VEGAN options for hot pot broth?

Yes, the soy broth at least should be vegan. I'd confirm at the restaurant though to be sure.

Does the outdoor seat open now for lunch?

Just called they only have indoor dining

I went to the business on Sunday, 1/16/22 but the sign says that they have maintenance issues and should reopen on 1/17/22. I've been calling but no one answers and now it goes straight to voicemail. Anyone know if they've reopened?

Yes they are open. Health score is not very good at 78/100, so hoping if the closure was due to maintenance, that the score will go higher and improve

Will they be open on Christmas?

    Yes

What is a "wait list" and how does it work?? Do they take reservations?

When the restaurant is crowded, they activate waitlist so customers who don't have a table yet get on it in and wait for a table to open up for their party. You can join the waitlist via Yelp App/Using their checkin Screen at the front entrance. I…

Are you open on Labor Day?

    Yes

Is there currently outdoor seating? How do you make reservations?

    No outdoor seating.

I was wondering if anyone knew what peanut sauce they use? It was so good. I wanna buy some.

I've been to 3 others Redwood City BBQ, South Winchester BBQ (San Jose), and Canyon's BBQ (Castro Valley) and I've reviewed most of those quite favorably, except for 1. But they have about 4 others that I haven't been but are on my list. I guess now I'll know they are more the same than they are different. I knew walking in that I was going to like it. A strong aroma of wood smoke hugs you upon entering. A cool mural outside, lots of beers and bbq on the tables, cool tunes that was all over the place genre wise. 2 Meat Combo ($26/4.5*) Crazy solid combo. Not as juicy as I would prefer but between the perfect smoke content and their seasoning just makes me happy enough. Brisket: Their brisket is awesome. Not as juicy as some of the top notch places here in the Bay, but the flavor was perfect for me. Assertive smokiness without being overbearing. Get a piece with a good layer of fat and it was basically hearty beef bacon. I rarely put sauce on brisket but theirs is not bad, maybe just a dot or 2. Ribs: Also drier than what I like but the flavor and meaty texture was enough for me. Definitely have to pull these off the bone a bit, does not easily fall off, which I actually prefer. I like toothsome versus mushy meat. These ribs do have a layer of bbq sauce cooked into them, so it has a sweet and tangy flavor already in it. But they still can accept extra sauce, as it will not only moisten the ribs further but it will amp up the tang and sweetness that pork ribs are natural for. Tried 2 sides, beans and coleslaw. The beans aren't the super sweet kind, which I liked. More chili-like very hearty and complimenting to the smoky bbq. The slaw was perfect, crisp with a creamy yet slightly sweet dressing. Crazy good, I could actually eat their sides alone as a meal. Their corn bread here is strange. It is cooked in a sheetpan and cut into squares much like a brownie. But that square is then griddled til golden brown so I totally thought it was garlic bread at first. The other bbq spots I tried from this same company didn't make corn bread like that, so this was a first for me. Probably the only miss for me here. Also tried a half pound of Tri Tip ($20/4*) Very meaty that they were able to keep it a nice pink medium, which I like. But much milder in smoke than their brisket and ribs. I ended up making sandwiches with these at home. They are sliced pretty thick so you may have to slice some of them further. It bites easier in thinner slices versus monster thick slices that will pull out of the bread with each bite. I learned that on this out so just throwing out a tip. A solid bbq throwdown with a cold frosty one, plus lots of leftovers for work lunches the next few days, is just an out I can repeat over and over. Glad I found this spot!

Also really enjoyed the baked beans and potato salads.

With the exception of the big painted Texas flag on the wall and the cartoonish sponge cowboy hat,…read morethe place has nothing to do with Texas, especially the BBQ. The good news: The free sliced pickles and pickled onions, mild bbq sauce and the spicy runny bbq sauces are great! The OK news: The creamy cal slaw is fresh and crunchy (not creamy) and the Brussels sprout is crispy and nice (not very Texan as the name gives it away). The "smoked beans" are more like the English Heinz beans, a la beans on toast, in a thick sauce with an extremely faint smoke taste (you have to close your eye and let your imagination wonder). The not so good news: 1.5lb of brisket has no smoky bbq taste, zero smoke rings. It was not tender and was cooked in a hurry. Half a rack of ribs, zero bbq taste. Half a chicken, zero bbq taste, just cooked with uneven brushes of light smudges of bbq sauce slapped on it for color. The half chicken was missing the thigh (my favorite meat) , the gentleman said that they ran out of them so he put yet another large quarter clonk of breast meat. Managed to finish a wing and a bit of a quarter. Having been going to Austin every year for the last 13 years for the F1 race in October and having had true Texan bbq at the Salt Lick in Driftwood and Terry Black and Franklin, I can honestly say the we were quite disappointed, regardless of the fact the the meal cost $160. A.I. hallucinated again when I asked about the best smoked BBQ in the Bay Area. For the people who know, don't bother. The cornbread was moist with the perfect amount of sweetness. And the BBQ sauces?? So dang good that I ended up buying two bottles to take home with me. Overall such a great experience all around between the food and the service. Will definitely be coming back again!

pretty disappointing father's day dinner. I ordered food for take out to treat my dad, as he…read moredoesn't go out to restaurants much anymore. he was pretty excited for it, but the whole meal was very meh. I ordered one of their meal packages, plus some extras on the things we needed more of. the meal package was supposed to include 2 types of bbq sauce plus ranch for the wings. they didn't give us any of the bbq sauces or the ranch. considering they charge $5 each for sides of sauces, that's $15 they shorted me. so we had dry chicken wings with nothing to dip them in... which means nobody wanted to eat them. there's another $25 I was out. we ended up having to use the bottled sauces that I bought as a gift... another $20 gone. pulled pork was fine. the brisket was pretty tough. my dad usually loves leftovers and didn't want to keep any of it... so that said a lot about the meal all by itself. the positives (?): cornbread was pretty good. wolf turds were good (though crazy expensive for what they are - only 2 come in an order for over $10). mac and cheese was good, though it has far less meat than it used to. all in all, not a positive experience. seems like they've really gone downhill. if you order to go, check your order carefully before you leave. they had everything ready when I got there and had tied the bags shut (double knotted), so it would have been hard to get them open. do yourself a favor tho and take the time to open each bag. it sucks to get all the way home and find key items were left out.

Premium Combo Platter: mixed brisket, spareribs, greens, and cornbread. Decent, but hoped for a little more smoke.

We arrived on a Sunday afternoon for lunch recently. The restaurant is located in downtown San Jose off north 1st street. Parking is accessible in the back parking lot. The spaces can be tight but there is additional parking on 2nd street as well. The restaurant is fairly large with plenty of tables and high tops. A full service bar is located to the right as soon as you walk in. The restaurant is clean and has nice modern decor. The vibe is welcoming and bustling. We ordered uncle Greg's smoked ribs with cornbread, candied yams, and rice, beef brisket with cornbread, coleslaw, and mac & cheese, watermelon lemonade, lemonade, and a glass of Chardonnay. Everything was delicious and hearty. Both the ribs and beef brisket were tender and juicy. All the sides complemented the bbq meats very well. The candied yams were sweet and tasty. Mac & cheese were creamy and gooey. The cornbread was tasty and moist in the inside. Both lemonade drinks were refreshing and hit the spot. Overall we enjoyed our experience at Jackie's Place. The staff were so nice and attentive. I appreciated the cozy and family friendly atmosphere. Price point was fair. I definitely want to come back to try the happy hour and of course other items on the menu.

The location that we went to is located next to Maggiano's Little Italy in Santana Row on Olin Ave. There is a free 2 hour parking structure across of the restaurant where my boyfriend and I parked at. We came during their Lunch Specials (until 4pm) and Happy Hour (from 3-5:30pm) which worked perfectly as we wanted something smaller in portion compared to the dinner portions. We started off with drinks. I got their Pig Ol' Bitties Blonde Ale, and my boyfriend got their Friday Beer & Shot special of This Little Piggy Went to [Mark]et with a 16 oz Dirty Little Pig IPA and a shot of Benchmark whiskey. My fault for having him get a whiskey shot on an empty stomach, though HAHA. He did like how smooth the whiskey was at least! We shared a 2-meat BBQ Lunch Combo Plate, and honestly, we should have gotten 3 meats because of how tender and delicious everything was! We got their Tri Tip and Sliced Brisket with their Garlic Mash and server recommended Sweet Potato Tots. Ahhh, everything was so good! Aside from the tender, flavorful meats, the two sides, especially the garlic mash, were sooooo good. We both loved everything! It was definitely a great choice coming during lunch as we were quite full after ordering one of their happy hour shareables of Chips & Queso (kind of pricey even for happy hour in my opinion for chips and cheese). Honestly wished we got their Chili Cheese Fries or their other fries which were the same price than just chips and dip LOL. But it was a good hold over food with us drinking a bit (at least for me). Shoutout to the only server who was working on a late Friday afternoon as she was doing her best to accommodate everyone + trying to clean up the previous tables. It was kind of sad seeing that the other workers didn't help bus the tables in my opinion. Overall, a great place to watch sports and have some good whiskey as this restaurant is known for their whiskey selections! The lunch BBQ exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely come back for another lunch special meal but probably with 3 meats this time!

My sister wanted bbq for her birthday and so we opted for this place. i loved they way that it was decorated. it's like a bar and bbq served in one place. Since i've never been here before i was really surprised by their portion sizes. it was well worth the money spent and picking up was easy too. super nice guys who helped me. i was a bit confused on what kind of sauces they had. the person who helped me gave me a run down and explained their sauces. they also gave me some samples to try to take home as welll. by far i think id have to agree that their tin roof sauce is the best sauce my sister even wanted to know if she could just buy their bbq sauce. other then that we ordered roughly a good portion of bbq- pulled pork, cheddar cheese jalapeño sausage, burnt ends, brisket, chicken wings, and ribs. our sides were the cajun rice, green beans, cole slaw and corn succatash. would probably love to come back for their lunch special one of these days.
