My gf and I just finished a long ride. We were ready for some food. All the staff we met with were nice and helpful. We had our bikes and they allowed us to keep them in the back. Our server was a gentleman named Ammar , he service, demeanor, and overall assistance was top notch. We was very accommodating and was very attentive even with a full restaurant. Ambiance was also really cool. If we are in the area we are definitely going back bc the manager and our sever made us feel very welcomed .

better quality meats, and sides than other places in the city. I really like the fans that stop the smoke from becoming too much. Can see why this place was packed. For a better experience, I would try to go during a less busy time. Was a little loud and couldn't really hear the music, but that's expected during a busy day. Also really loved the soju cocktails. Tip: mix the drink to spread the syrup

Valentine's Day can be really busy and I do appreciate the willingness of the waiter. They have the employees but I think the manager needs to stop passing free shots of soju and manage the restaurant a little better. I declined the soju btw, we don't drink Alcohol. Just want to say that the wait was 1.5 hours. We were initially 49th in line for a party of 2. I used yelp to save our place in line which really helped during Valentine's Day. The other Gen would have been double. The entrance doors are pretty hard to open. There is a lot of air holding the doors shut. Must be their large exhaust fan for all the BBQ being cooked by patrons. There is a comfortable waiting area and we witnessed one of the hostess catch someone trying to sneak into a table and go ahead of the line. She was very polite and professional about it. Once we were seated they gave us a table with enough room for my legs as I'm 6ft 4. Love to Strech my legs. We were asked to scan the QR code with our phones to see the menu and order we did. As you can see all the food we ordered. The food was really great. Loved everything. We ate everything we ordered. Cons: we had to ask 3 different waitstaff for vegetables. The waitstaff seemed confused at times and even though we were seated near the kitchen it was hard to get their attention. Suggestion: ask for more napkins when you order food. You're going to probably use your hands at some point so it would be good to wash your hands before you eat. One thing that's very important and shows how organized and clean a restaurant is, is the restroom. The men's restroom had water on the floor when you walk in. It was slippery. The whole restroom near the urinal and toilets was water on the floor. However I did see one of the prep cooks wash his hands with soap and water. A definite plus. Food quality. The sauce for the fried fish was warm. It should not be discolored and warm. I hope we will be fine tomorrow. Anywho, those are my 2 cents. Manager has a lot to work on. Nice ambience. Music was a little too loud though.

We tried the Gen Korean BBQ restaurant. The menu had so many great items. I liked all the meats like pork belly, beef, pork, bulgogi, ribs. Our waitress was so nice and helpful. She checked on us and brought our orders. The food was delicious. We had a great experience.

The service was excellent, Andrew and Luis are the best , very attentive and friendly and helpful . The ribs #10 , pineapple beef #8 and beef belly # 5 are well marinated and delicious. Highly recommended Mountain view location. Tip : you can buy Gen gift card from costco ( $70 for $100 worth gift card )

It was personally my first time coming here, but we wanted to bring our cousin visiting town to this spot before she left home. The ambiance is cool and the service was pretty good too. Service was a bit slow during a few times we waited for our rice and sides. But nonetheless, loved the food especially the bulgogi. The potato salad was surprisingly small (didn't expect it to be that small lol) and the cheesy kimchi fried rice wasn't bad, but there was no cheese on top? Was thinking maybe they mixed it in the food, but was a pretty basic dish. Still a good time with my family and appreciate our server for helping us and being chill

No Line yet, but after we finished ordering, the line was out the door. For our group of 4 adults we ordered the rack of Beef Dino Ribs plus the large Family Pack (1lb of each meat) Brisket, Pork ribs, chicken. Plus smoked sausage. Sides: potato salad, mac&cheese, Brussel sprouts. Corn bread. Peach cobbler cheesecake, Banana Pudding. Wow !! A lot of food , i wanted enough to take home for Lunch the next day. We placed our order at the counter, then worked our way to the dining area. Food arrived at our table before i was done collecting the sauces, plates, napkins & silverware. Very fast - amazing as the dinning area was nearly full. The Dino bones ( 3 big ribs) was very impressive. Perfectly done. Definitely my favorite. Juices still dripping, very moist. Pork ribs were good. St. Louis cut, so they were a little on the drier side than babybacks. We asked for dark meat on the chicken but received two pieces of breast ( a bit on the dry side). Brisket was perfect, very moist and tender. Smoked sausage was a favorite especially with the Texas sauce. Sauces are the secret for good BBQ ,, as long as the meats are moist. We were with a Good group and out to celebrate a happy event. Everything was good. Desserts were packed to take home. Good service, even the cleanup staff were friendly. Atmosphere was typical w/ televisions entertainment. Noise level was decent to have table conversations. Cost: @ $60 per person Note: the Mini Family pack with the Dino rack would have been enough for our group. The restaurant was clean, trash bins emptied before they were in need. Bathroom was tidy. Yes, we hope to return. We do have good BBQ on the east bay. The meats were tender, juicy, and had that perfect smoky BBQ flavor, while the sides were just as good and really completed the meal. The ambiance was also really nice--casual, laid-back, and perfect for sitting down and enjoying some good BBQ. Overall, definitely a spot I'd come back to when I'm craving some good Texas BBQ!

After watching a review on social media, I decided to try something new. I had to try the cracklin' chicken bites. I ordered the southern fried fish, added the brisket, and the collard greens. After I ordered, I went to the bar to order a gin and tonic. I asked for the Bombay Sapphire gin. Then, it turned into an unreal experience. When I got my drink, I asked the female bartender if she added lemon or lime. She gave me "the look" and said I did not ask for lemon or lime. Taken aback, I told her that I've never had a gin and tonic without lemon or lime. She then replied, "rude". I proceeded to apologize, and then she acquiesced and gave me a garnish. I thanked her and again apologized. She was having none of it. I was in a great mood because I still tipped her. However, it has been bugging me ever since July 25. Hence, my review. Back to the food. My food was delicious, flavorful, and portion sizes were great. In fact, I am taking my parents there today. However, we are going to go to the one on South of Market--just in case I want a gin and tonic. I will be sure to ask for lime this time. :)
