    Steak chimichurri bowl
    Christine S.

Came in hoping to recreate a bowl I had here before that I couldn't find on the menu anymore, and they made it happen. It used to be a special, and they were still able to put it together for me. Steak with chimichurri over a grains and greens base with fresh toppings. Everything tasted really fresh and balanced. The steak was cooked well and the chimichurri brought it all together. Really appreciated how accommodating they were. It's not always easy asking for something off menu, but they made it easy. If you've had something here before and don't see it anymore, it's worth asking.

    Poke duo bowl

Poke duo bowl is the best bang for your buck and for your nutritional goals. I'd skip the seaweed salad, has a weird texture. Both fish options are great. The ceviche is super watery, which I dont really like but the taste is fine. Chili lime on the fries are a no go, its not that good. The fries are standard cut, I'd prefer a shoestring [[HIGHLIGHT]]Place is pretty empty mid day on a weekend[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Unfortunately, my last visit to this establishment was a bad experience. This incident occurred in January, and as a result, I have refrained from returning. I intend to utilize a birthday reward, which I presented to the staff. However, they informed me that the reward was not being processed at this location. Consequently, they suggested that I visit a different Pacific Catch restaurant. Despite this recommendation, when I ordered my customary meal, the tuna portion was significantly reduced. The majority of the dish consisted of lettuce, with minimal amounts of ginger and tuna. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Comparing it to previous times I went, it used to be filled with people. However, this last time I went, it was very dark with few people from my order to the lack of people in there suggests that there may be an issue with the current location.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] :(

We dined here tonight with our kids and a couple of dear friends, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. I was having such a great time that I completely forgot to photograph our food, or even catch the name of our server, which honestly says everything. Our server was truly fantastic: upbeat, attentive, and genuinely kind. He offered thoughtful and spot-on culinary recommendations, and everything arrived promptly and beautifully prepared. All six of us ordered different dishes, and every single person loved their meal. Our kids, who are usually hit-or-miss at restaurants, were surprisingly enthusiastic and happily finished their food, which is always a win in my book. I ordered the sea bass with shrimp chimichurri, served alongside Brussels sprouts and asparagus, and it was perfection. Everything was cooked just right and absolutely delicious. The only thing I managed to photograph was the chocolate cake at the end of the meal, so I'll include those photos here--because clearly, dessert stole the final spotlight. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Five-star ambiance, five-star service, five-star culinary delights, and five-star mixology.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We can't wait to come back.

On a fine day my buddy took me out for food & drink during a short period of "being in-between jobs". [[HIGHLIGHT]]Pacific Catch was a great place and it lifted my spirits.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I started out with a beer and he had a cocktail. It was good to catch up and download a bit. After a few more, I began to look at the menu and suddenly had a craving for their fish & chips, which were very good. My buddy had some sort of mini-sandwiches and they look good as well. All in all, it was a good place to have a bite and chop it up. I could definitely go back. Now for the pics...

Staff was nice and we ordered for to go. Quick service as the wait was less than 15 min for 2 orders but overall quality of food was worse than mediocre & extremely disappointing. We were in the area for work and figured we stop by as we never had their food before. I'm also a manager at another restaurant but the food we received was super bland and lacking in any flavor or SALT. At first glance, it looks good with all the fresh ingredients they use but with the chicken being the main protein, it was really disappointing. We got the Tinga Tacos - the blue tortillas disintegrated and all the contents were falling out even though we ate it immediately in the car. The chicken tasted like regular boiled chicken with no seasoning. If there was some type of sauce, we would have understood why the tortillas were falling apart but it was just the chicken with red/tomato liquid and the veggies. The tomato liquid was bland as well - which I think the chicken was cooked in. This came with the side of Mexican corn which was bland & lacking salt as well. The cheese was also clumped/melted together and not like feta/crumbly cheese at all/not like what is shown in their menu photos. The starter of coconut shrimp we got was also soggy, too bready, and bland. The side of mashed potatoes was also watered down and lacking salt & butter - I would honestly prefer instant mashed potatoes. The only saving grace to this order was their Thai iced tea and blood orange lemonade. @Management - please do better at quality checking your food and actually having your BOH staff taste test the meals they make. Whether these are made per order or batch-made for the day - please taste your food before letting this go out for service. Again, I work in the food industry as well and I'm not expecting a high end experience but I would have gotten better tasting food & preferred to go to Chili's down the street or even a corner street taco booth - especially for the total price of all this - total was $68! Please train your staff in providing to go orders with utensils as well and even STRAWS when we obviously ordered 2 iced drinks to go.

I don't usually leave reviews but this place was absolutely phenomenal and a perfect way to have lunch while watching soccer. I ordered the wagyu cheeseburger with a mocktail and I forgot the other thing I order but all three of them were balanced and delicious. Shoutout to server I think Jesus Cano? [[HIGHLIGHT]]Such a welcoming environment and the place of the restaurant was fantastic.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely coming back again.

6/25/26 Walked in, sign said "wait to be seated", but there was no one there. [[HIGHLIGHT]]After a minute or two, A very nice lady nattered with the Duchess, then a fellow appeared, leading us to an outside covered patio.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Everyone was dressed quite casual, so definitely not a black tie atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had the lobster roll $32.+ Comes on griddled Hawaiian rolls, dressed with citrus aioli, red alaea salt, chives, melted butter and sesame slaw, and fries which were nicely seasoned; fries taste was a 8 on a 1-10 scale. The Duchess went with the 2 piece fish and chips $12, which also came with a dish of sesame slaw. She was very pleased as the breading was not to thick or greasy. Nothing left on her tray! I'm used to lobster rolls over in Half Moon Bay and this roll was served on 3 attached Hawaiian rolls, more roll than lobster, still tasty, but wouldn't order it again. Julianna, our waitress, was efficient, patient, with the Duchess who had a Christmas list of questions. At the end of our meal, the woman who had met us at the door, came by with our server, asking if we enjoyed our dinner. We chatted a bit, nice touch. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The sound level is loud, a little quieter outside. And you can always take off your hearing aids.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We'll be back.

5:15! We have arrived for Happy Hour (3-6pm) Our starters are a Guava-Rita $9 and one of each taco - Baja Style Crispy Cod $7 Spicy. Sriracha- Grilled Steak $7 each. Nice crisp veggies in the tacos. Then the finale- Rolls: tuna and an order of shrimp too. &9 each order. Spicy, fresh, tasty! What makes this so wonderful is a large patio, eating outside, gentle breeze. And a few dogs happily joined their diners on the patio. Relaxing, perfectly pleasant temperature and we got to try so many different great items. Gotta mention our lovely fast-moving server - she was friendly and took such good care of us. Thanks!!

    Christopher B.

We had a team lunch on the patio on Tuesday. The breeze was surprisingly chilly, so the staff turned on the overhead heaters, which helped a bit but some people were still cold. They all had short sleeves ‍ We were a party of seven not too big but bigger tables can present some challenges. The servers were generally polite and attentive, they were certainly patient as it took a while for people to figure out their orders. We used to order delivery from Pacific Catch a few times during the year, but always found the food to be slightly mediocre and there was almost always at least one mistake with the order. The entire team agreed that the freshness of the food at the restaurant was superior, and our expectations calamari was crispy, tortillas and buns were not soggy, and a few other differences you would expect between eating on site and delivery. I went with the Chiraga (sp?), tuna three ways. The flavors were on point, and well each style of tuna was vastly different than the other, they played together nicely. I normally get their pokey and guacamole bowl, which I love, but I'll definitely be back for this. I topped it off with a tiki old-fashioned. Unfortunately it wasn't happy hour, but still a great drink!

This review is hard for me to write because it's hands-down the worst dining experience I've ever had! On a beautiful Sunday afternoon I thought I would treat myself to a meal and enjoy the sunshine. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When the host brought me to the back patio, I noticed there were four tables that were not cleared yet. It looked like a mountain of garbage, and I asked if that was going to be soon taken care of. He assured me it would.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I sat down ordered my meal, and I asked the waitress if it would be cleared... because this was 15 minutes later, and she said "oh yeah yeah it will." Another 20 minutes went by when my meal came. It still wasn't clear! I asked if somebody could bus the tables, because I wasn't comfortable eating surrounded by garbage and dirty plates. Still nothing happened for another 10 minutes, this is when the person who was supposed to bus the tables came off their break. This was an extraordinarily long break! And don't you clear a room before you break? During this whole time, I heard staff members pointing and talking about the situation, but nobody stepped up to do anything about it. The only person who seemed to care was the bartender, because I asked for a beverage... even though I wasn't sitting at the bar. I had to ask him for any help because the waitress was not visible throughout my service. I asked if they were under staffed that day. The response seemed to lean towards that there's mismanagement issues and people don't care about the jobs. It makes me wonder what the food preparation is like. If you are thinking of having a nice meal, go elsewhere, the Pacific Catch at Stanford is managed much better. I just cannot believe the experience I just had. Again, hands-down worst dining experience ever! Seems like they have a couple people who know what they're doing, but they don't have the power to make other people care or do their jobs.

Went during holiday day so limited menu. Stayed nearby hotel so short walk, plenty of free street parking and nearby free parking structure. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice and cool vibe place with nice and friendly service[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Foods are good and tasty but just typical, nothing special. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great bar and setting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Do have both indoor and outdoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Great place for hangout to chill and relax over great drinks and good foods.

Well behaved pets are allowed in the patio... Most pets are better behaved than some kids and adults.

What accommodations are made for guests bringing a dog? Such as is it outdoor or inside restaurant seating? Doggie menu, etc?

There is no pet menu. Only service dogs are allowed inside and they must wear the vest otherwise there is a full patio for pets

They close annoyingly early at 10. Even at 930 or 945 they are reluctant to let you in. As a result I've reduced my frequency with them.

Generally in SoCal we don't put pico de gallo on ours. Although this did not taste like the SoCal kind(that classic so heavy and rich heart attack flavor), it was still awesome. It had all the otherwise same ingredients, slightly less cheese but a more good quality type of cheese, but still was missing the heart attack flavor. The flavor was still with the same depth, just not heavy/greasy sensation on the stomach and taste buds. Searched best pupusas and saw this place. Our old favorite, La Bamba Taqueria, closed down a while…read moreago... Very sad. Read the reviews. There were a lot of complaints about service but no complaints about food so we decided to try it out. Ordered 4 chicharron pupusas and one carnitas taco. Just ordered the taco because I am a deep deep lover of carnitas and I wanted to try it. Under $25. The place was packed with all Latinos ... first good sign. Lots of the complaints were about timely-ness, and I say to those people, relax. Everybody was working super hard and fast, and it is just really busy at lunch. It takes a little time to get your food, but it was absolutely worth it. these might be the best pupusas I've ever had. They brought out three salsas for us, and I was partial to the green. The pupusas were chock full of cheese and chicharron to the rims. Fried perfectly. The carnitas taco was amazing! The pork was so crispy and delicious. As to the service, ours was great. The tables were all full, but a couple of guys said we could sit at their table because they had two empty seats. Thank you! I will be getting more pupusas, and my mom wants all carnitas tacos all day.

They are very good like a meat filled tortilla made of masa. For breakfast we like the juevos rancheros. It comes with tortillas. Get the corn tortillas. They are made fresh and handmade and are thicker in height than a typical tortilla. Today I tried the Desayuno Salvatoreno which was with plantains, beans, eggs. Also very good. The place is casual, family-friendly. 2 large TVs we on today and we're playing a World Cup match. There are 4 tables outside where we like to sit with our doggie.
