Unfriendly staff named Kathleen at Vons on Magnolia Ave, Corona She is seriously need more training on being a good customer service. I have already noticed her abrupt and unfriendly personality every time I shop at this Vons. However, yesterday after I got done with the store new self-service checkout, before I left the store, I double checked my receipt for any possible error, it was about a few steps away from self-checkout. I found a charged of one fruit item I didn't purchase but it showed on my receipt. I approached her politely and asked for her help and showed all the items in my bag along with the receipt. Instead of showing me some good attitude that she was there to help, her immediate response was "I don't know, you did it, you scanned the item yourself." Sounded like an accusation than let's figure this out. Her negative demeanor aggravated the situation, so I started to raise my voice as I talked to her. Then, she accused me again that I yelled at her. Btw, I got better service at Walmart at their self-checkout, their staff are much more helpful and more friendly there. read more

I normally shop at Vons in Alta Loma, but was in the area. I had a cart full of groceries and when I tried to wheel the cart through parking lot to my car, the wheels locked up! I saw another cart close by and the same thing happened! A clerk assistant was outside and asked for another cart but was in formed the carts lock up past a certain area. I get that but she never offered to help me with my bags but said I'll just have to make more than one trip to my car! I'm over 70 and I had 4 full bags and heavy! So so much for customer service anymore read more

I've been going to my local neighborhood Vons for as long as I can remember! They are my go too for fresh fruit, veggies, bagged salads, And cakes, cookies and the fresh bagels! I love their MEATS, I only buy my hamburger meat, and steaks and they have great specials on their 12 pack of sodas. Buy 2 get 3 free! That's the best I've seen yet. They run that special often. I'm a bargain shopper and they are higher on most things but with the Vons card and they digital coupons and then the specials they can be cheaper at the end. All depends on what you buy. I know the staff they all say Hi Tracey when I come in and if I have a problem they are always there to make it right, sorry people have had bad experiences here but I feel completely the opposite. read more

I had a horrible experience with this Vons bakery. The first time I went there I waited almost an hour for someone to return from lunch. They have only a 30 minute lunch someone in another department had to help me the second time I went to pick up my cake. I also waited a long time for someone to return from lunch once again and they only have a 30 minute lunch and I waited almost 45 minutes. My cake had a crack in it instead of trying to give me the cake for free. They suggested that I get something else after I waited and waited for a manager to come to assist me that never came to assist me. I decided to have them fix the cake and they gave me just a $10 discount when I came to pick up the cake. No one was there. Once again nobody was there they were on lunch supposedly and I had to have someone from customer service help me to get my cake and to pay for it. This is the most ridiculous service I've ever seen in my life and I have been going to Vons for many many years I feel like the people in the bakery need to be trained better or maybe even find a different job that's not customer service because these people are not doing there job they can take long lunches and then when I they do return, they have attitude and bad energy. It was just a horrible experience. I will never return to this bakery ever again. read more

I just went there and was at self checkout and noticed that one of the items I had was opened and asked the gentleman that was working the station if he could get me another one. I stopped here looking for a certain beer which they were out of, I asked one of the employees and he was quick to help and even gave me a recommendation of beer which turned out great. The meat department at Vons groceries are top notch. I have bought my meats there, tomahawk, ribeye very good quality. Great for barbecuing .The store here in Upland very clean. I came to the Vons in Upland, CA for their 10 piece jumbo chicken drumsticks for 9.99 and only a few pieces left were jumbo, the rest were small pieces. I asked for extra pieces to make up for the lack of jumbo legs and was only given 7 pieces, half of which were jumbo, and the rest were small legs. Another lady complained that their deli was lacking other hot deli items she was looking for and it was midday when u expect an ample supply of hot food but the clerk said it was really busy. Still u don't sell a scant among of hot food midday. Don't recommend their hot deli. read more

I came in today for some veggies, no issues with the food itself. My issue was with your cashier Austin who was a complete jerk and looked like he either hated his job or was not having a good day. There was a lady checking out and another lady in front of me. The first lady decided she wanted to get reusable bags and he looked annoyed that he had to bag her stuff. Not sure what this stores policy is but I always get help when I have a lot of groceries. Then the lady in front of me was having issues and she kept saying my card is in and he said "I'm waiting on you" in such a rude way meanwhile the whole time he's staring off not even paying attention to her. After 3 tries, he realized he needed to press a button. Making her feel like she was the issue. Then when it was my turn I said hello and got nothing back. Literally didn't even look me in the face was staring off elsewhere. I understand people sometimes aren't having a good day but maybe they shouldn't be up in the registers checking people out. read more

I love this grocery store, specifically this location for their produce section. I have two favorite cashiers (Dorsey and Annette), they are so friendly and welcoming. I mostly come here to buy veggies for my pets, like my guinea pigs and reptiles. They've got tons of variety, very fresh produce. I come for all the dark leafy greens for my lizards, and they always have everything I need in stock - collards, dandelion, swiss chard. They've got all the produce I need for my guinea pigs - all lettuces (romaine, green leaf, red leaf, radicchio, endive), carrots, parsnips, fennel, cilantro, celery, curly and italian parsley, golden and red beets, so many tomato and cucumber varieties, the list goes on. Could I find this produce for cheaper at other grocery stores? Yes, and I've tried Ralphs, Albertsons, 99 Ranch, Sprouts, the old 99 Cents Store, Claremont and Upland Farmers Market, etc but I will NOT buy produce from other places because they're either lacking variety so I can't buy everything I need in one place, OR the produce isn't as large, clean or fresh! I've also done my regular grocery shopping here, gotten cheese and cured meats sliced at the deli, and gotten things from the meat counter. Everything's great, I'm not going anywhere else as long as their produce selection and quality stays this way. read more

However, my issue is your Digital coupons program,, as I try tonite to bring up the weekly ad for Feb. 26 , all I get is last weeks. Very irritating.
