    Valentine's candies at a discount
    Linh Y.

After visiting Target and not finding what I was looking for which was heart-shaped Valentine's Day candy, I thought of Albertsons that happens to be across the street from Target. Jackpot for me! I was on a mission in search for my heart-shaped candy LOL. I was focused and didn't allow anything to distract me. I know how I can be when it comes to shopping. I have a tendency to wander and other items catch my eyes and I give in at times LOL. I call it weakness LOL. Anyway, this store was bright and clean. I didn't have to walk too far into the aisles to find what I was looking for. I got lucky and found a heart-shaped box with Ghirardelli chocolates that happen to be heart-shaped. Yes, I hit the jackpot indeed. It had a price tag of $16.99 which I thought was very pricey. However, it had a 50% off sticker on it which would have been $8.49ish... still pricey if you ask me. I was hesitant to get it so I walked out without buying it. Then I called my youngest daughter because it was for her class party. After speaking with her, I didn't want to go scavenger hunting for heart-shaped chocolates since Valentine's Day was already over and not knowing which stores still have Valentine's candy. So I did what my intuition told me to do, walk right back into Albertsons and buy that Ghirardelli heart-shaped box of chocolates LOL. I had to bite the bullet and pay $8.49ish for the chocolates. Well, lucky me again, it turned out that it was 50% off of the already 50% off times 2. Yes, if you did the math right, it was just a little bit over $2. WOW and SWEET... I was surprised and pleased at the same time. I could have bought 3 more boxes for the price of $8+ that I was willing to pay for, but I didn't. Just got the one box. Thank you universe for looking out for me! Thanks Albertsons for the great discount! Thank you staff for your great service! P.S. Before I went to the cashier, I found a one dollar bill on the floor. I placed it into one of those donation boxes... you know what I'm talking about. This was before I found out about the great discount I was about to receive. Good deeds have greater returns ten fold... I believe it! I am grateful. Always do your best. Thank you!

This is my neighborhood Albertsons. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. They are usually well stocked in all items, and the store is always clean. Staff is always wearing masks, following Covid protocols. The main reason that gets them five stars is because they always have plenty of fresh and affordable flowers. Even during a holiday or special event such as valentines or Mother's Day, the inventory doesn't run low. You can totally count on them for last minute floral needs. Keep up the amazing job! :)

With so many choices why is this grocery store my #1? QUALITY- They are a Farmers Market for a reason. The produce is ON POINT ALWAYS. SELECTION- If you want to eat healthy there is no other store with all kinds of specialty products and the amount of non food products is amazing. I love that I can find Lions Mane Fresh Mushrooms, Wild Caught Sockeye Salmon, and Tom's Toothpaste, and all my Vegan favs under one roof. QUAINT- It's the perfect sized market. Not overwhelming. Organized perfectly. Extremely easy to navigate. You don't have to search for anything. Everything is grouped to create a sense of ease. ACCOMMODATING- I can always find someone in reach if I have a question or need help. And everyone is always super FRIENDLY! I want to give a HUGE shout out to the store manager, Jesus. Why can't every store have a Jesus?!!!! This man goes ABOVE and BEYOND to make his customers happy. I haven't seen this kind of DEDICATION in like...forever. This is why the Upland Sprouts is amazing. Because of his leadership. And he is why I will continue to shop here...along with all of the above! If you haven't tried them please go on in and I promise you will not be disappointed!

The Amazon returns lady kept shooing my husband away when he was asking where he could dispose of the cardboard box that was holding his returns, which she legit tossed at him while repeatedly saying, "Bye!" And no, husband wasn't rude or a pain. He never is. Next, I waited patiently while an employee was taking his sweet old time stocking yogurts. It took him a while to notice me. I said excuse me and sorry and all the niceties just to be ignored as if I were inconveniencing HIM. Then cashier. No greeting, no thank you, no nothing at all. Y'all need to get over yourselves. Usually the customers are the PITAs at Whole Foods but now it's the employees?

So when I first walked in deals caught my eyes as always needed to go to the bathroom the young man on shift stopped what he was doing and opened bathrooms for me was EXTREMELY nice and wished me a nice day I continued shopping after and get to an item clearly listed for .99 cents there was NO other spots for it either big white paper tag with .99 cents on it I get some because yes that's a great deal I get to register first this girl was helping a lady in front of me she CLEARLY told her she wanted to be rung up for waters instead of doing so she started ringing up my transaction and told her she already started with another customer so she'd have to wait like omg I'm surprised the lady didn't say anything instead she said ok I'll go put these groceries in the car and come back in for the waters. I noticed the item that was clearly tagged for .99 rang up for 1.99 I addressed it very nicely said "there is a sign back there that says that they are .99 " she cut me off before I could say anything else and talked over me saying " you got it from the wrong spot and I'm not changing the price " like whhhhhaaat I responded to her "I didn't get it from the wrong spot it's clearly marked but it's fine" she again said very rudely "I'm not changing the price ". I asked her for her name she said " I do not need to disclose that " I then asked for the manager she said "It's not going to change anything but ok" . Started ringing up the next customers items while mine are still needing to be put in boxes since they were out of bags mixing our items smh. First of all when employing these kids they should have to watch a video on YouTube or something on how to respond properly to a customer I still wanted the item because 1.99 was still a good price to me so her not adjusting the price is not the problem the problem is how she addressed it giving attitude is not ok in a work place especially in front of other customers very embarrassing I didn't argue with her I waited for manager she said what EMILY should have said "I'm sorry, I'm going to look into that item now and fix this issue" that is the appropriate response she also said she would talk to Emily and apologized for her behavior I'm leaving this review because I'm hoping she'll see this and fix her attitude like I told her and the manager it's not over the price it's how she addressed it and was very rude about it. I'll still continue to shop at the grocery outlet because I do enjoy the deals but hopefully next encounter with Emily is a pleasant one so I can update my review
