    Taco salad

Came in today for lunch and ordered the taco salad. Service was great. Fast and efficient. Taco salad was super delicious and filling. Inside has the coffee shop vide on the airport. Highly recommend

    Cactus Scramble

Kudos to the staff at this very friendly restaurant located on the flight line at Mojave Air and Space Port. Kudos also to @outsidethecockpit for recommending this place. Sandra our server brought coffee apologizing up front saying she was brewing a fresh pot. Both cups were great. The extensive breakfast menu contained aviation themed items (like the FOD omelette). We ordered the Perfect Landing Breakfast and Cactus Scramble. Both delicious. The place was bright and cheery with picture windows onto the flight line and a huge wall map of Rutan's epic round the world flight. For a great breakfast on a trip to the Sierras, take a slight detour and stop at Voyager Restaurant. Say hi to Sandra and buy a hat!

I was in Mojave for work and of course turned to Yelp to find out where to eat. The Voyager doesn't look like much from the outside, but once you're inside it's filled with airplane/craft photos. It sits right on the airfield so you can see the plane bone yard and the planes that are being worked on. The staff was friendly. The food was good. It is a bit spends though. $18 for a wrap with curly fries.

Nopales/Cactus & eggs are my favorite!

The Voyager Restaurant is located at the Mojave Airport about 1 mile east of Highway 14 and well worth the escape from the main drag. Parking: Private Lot & street parking Environment: Quaint aero vibe bc of course this restaurant is in the airport. There is nice view of the airport landing strip but saw no airplanes in motion the morning we were there. Staff was professional & efficient. Christol was our server and I think it's save to say she is my new favorite person in Mojave! Food was excellent for the price & to my surprise had cactus/nopales on the menu! This is my new favorite breakfast spot in Mo-mo-Mojave! WC are clean. Don't forget to check out the Mojave Airport Shop! lol

Cool "hanger" restaurant on the Mojave flight line. Most customers work at the local airplane related business. Lots of airplane photos, drawings, and pictures of local heroes including flight test pilots and airplane designers. Good, reasonably priced, diner food. You never know what you might see fly by from historical Soviet fighter aircraft, strange new space ships , or another history making airplane design that no one else would think about but designers like Burt Rutan. If you are and airplane nerd, this is the restaurant for you.

The dinner menu starts at 4:00. We ordered from the lunch menu, The bisque, tomato soup, and grilled cheese sandwich were pretty good., as was the chicken cutlet on a bun. The French fries were excellent. The young waitress was very busy, but we had our meal in no time. We waited for her to pick up the payment, but another woman took the cash payment. Hope she was the owner, as she stated. It was a nice change of pace venue.

I heard they serve Bravery Brewing beer so I ordered the Rocktoberfest. Still one of my favs! I told Amber that I would be ordering a few items and will be needing to-go boxes to bring home to my Mom (sharing food is my love language). Here's what I ordered: -Pepper Jack Mac & Cheese bites with their homemade ranch -Ahi Tuna sliders -Cubano with homemade chips accompanied by their homemade pepper jack queso dip -Chocolate Croissant Bread Pudding -Pepperoni pizza - to go The Mac & Cheese bites were crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside. The inside had a sharpness to it, I'm assuming from a cheese they used. They were even better dipped in their homemade ranch. Do not leave without trying it!!! Ahi Tuna sliders. You guys.. don't walk, RUN to try these! I think my eyes rolled back in my head when I took my first bite. The tuna was tender, the slaw was crunchy, creamy and citrusy with a slight sweetness. The bun was soft and slightly sweet as well, and the fact that it was toasted, added a nice texture. I'd eat these breakfast, lunch and dinner. And probably for dessert, don't judge me. The Cubano was fantastic! I'm hoping I heard Neil correctly but they marinate the pork in a homemade mojo sauce. That was incredible! The bread was nicely toasted, the ham was smoky, the fontina cheese added a nutty, buttery flavor along with the balance from the crunchy pickles and acidity from the mustard. And the homemade chips with the pepper Jack queso were amazing! The perfect crunch and crispness, salted well and dipped in the creamy queso that had a hint of spice. Oh lawd! Absolute happiness Neil Behrman, the chef, was kind enough to come out and introduce himself. I was lucky enough to have a conversation with him where we shared about our love of cooking, I got to hear about how became a chef, about his Italian grandmother, where he's worked, and how food feeds our soul. I did try one bite from the chocolate croissant bread pudding and oh man, the ooey gooey buttery chocolatey goodness is amazing! FYI.. Both my parents loved and raved about the food! Dad's favs: pizza and chips. Mom's favs: EVERYTHING! Lol!

Somehow, one of the very best is hiding right here in little old Tehachapi. The chicken tikka masala is so good I'd consider putting it in a thermos and taking it on my next flight. The biryani? Let's just say if loving it is wrong, I don't want to be naan-right. Everything we've tried has been packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and served with the kind of hospitality that makes you feel like you're eating at a friend's house--if your friend happened to be an incredible chef. Prime Bar & Grill may have "bar" in the name, but don't let that fool you. This place is quietly serving Indian food that could go toe-to-toe with restaurants in much bigger cities and come home wearing the championship belt. If you're driving through Tehachapi and skip this place, that's a curry-ous decision. Five stars. I'd give it six if they'd let me lick the tikka masala bowl in public.

Since it was our first visit, we walked up to the bar and explained that we're not IPA fans and asked if we could sample a few beers. The staff was super friendly and happy to let us try different options. We ended up really liking the Waterfront Lager and ordered micheladas. Their michelada mix is AMAZING. The Palmdale location is drinks only (no food), but the atmosphere and service made for a really fun night. Fast forward to yesterday. My husband and I had a date night and remembered how much we liked the beer, so we decided to check out the Lancaster location since they also serve food. When we walked in, the place was packed and there were only two girls working the entire floor. Even though they were clearly super busy, they were still very friendly and upfront that there would be about a 15-minute wait for a table. We appreciated the honesty, so we waited patiently and eventually got seated. We found out that the Lancaster location doesn't always have the same beers as the Palmdale brewery location, so unfortunately they didn't have the Waterfront Lager we loved. We were a little bummed, but our waitress gladly brought us samples so we could find something else we liked. We ended up ordering a lighter blonde beer since many of the others were too hoppy for our taste. We also tried their handmade mango and pineapple micheladas and WOW! both were so good. The food was delicious too. We ordered the totchos (loaded tator tots), 6-piece hot wings, and the Asian sliders. Everything came out fresh and flavorful. Even though they were slammed busy, the waitresses continued checking on us regularly throughout the night. Overall, it ended up being a really great date night. The ambiance is casual, fun, and welcoming, and both locations gave us excellent service. Lucky Luke is definitely going to become one of our regular date night spots moving forward!
