This is a belated post, but literally 5 months after our wedding we are still getting compliments on our photo booth set up by VR Squad. We even recently re-listened to our video messages, which was a bonus that VR Squad threw in with our package, and it was SUCH a great touch to our wedding. First working with the group, I was at first a little unsure because they were not the best at answering their emails and of course I was in a frenzy planning for my wedding, but turns out they were very busy that week and were gracious about leaving me on read for awhile. I appreciated the effort they put in to remediate that. We also had frequent check-ins to determine where we would put our photo booth and how our prints would come out, and I loved the customization. Then when our wedding came around, we got confirmation about the team showing up and our guy Ace was AMAZING. He evaluated our space, which turned out to be probably a little too small for the photo booth, but he made it work as the champ he was. My boyfriend used VR Squad for a proposal and we were truly disappointed in what were the results. The proposal set up was not at all set up as it should've been. My boyfriend provided VR Squad with a very simple and clear mockup of how he wanted the proposal to be set up, it was not set up as the picture mockup that was provided. The pictures we received as the end result were not at all what was expected (given their reviews, pricing, etc). The pictures we received were not focused, not centered, and just from all weird angles. Some pictures were cut off on the sides so the Marry Me letters were not completely in frame. I was very much looking forward to these pictures, but am truly so disappointed in the end result. There was no up close focused on my ring picture that was taken. That could've definitely been my fault for not asking, but being so caught up in the moment that is a proposal I would have had better hope in my photographer to have captured these things. I would not recommend VR Squad for any proposal occasion. - Response to comment I am aware of how proposals work, I understand that some pictures will not be posed because it's a surprise. However, when even the posed ones aren't centered and focused that seems like an issue. We understood the wind and having to improvise, but when you set colums in front of the marquee letters to not even be able to see the sign instead of putting them on the ends of the marquee letters like in the mockup, that seems a bit off. Hopefully whoever you decide to share those pictures with sees the potential, because if we would've seen those pictures as the sample we would have gone a different route. I don't see how your professional photographer took pictures and that the columns blocking the letters during the pictures was a good idea. As the professional he is, his suggestion would've made all the difference. And while the one extra hour fee was waived, it also was entirely due to us. Your photographer came to get us after photos had wrapped up to retake some pictures because the ones he took didn't come out right. Again, if you are content with the work that was done, great. We as the costumers were not content with the service we received. read more
