Went to V's Nail and spa for first time. Happen to be in the area and it was a delight to still find a place that gave basic mani/pedi for $50. Flowers are $5 extra for the toes Place was clean, had various customers, Plenty of choice colors and price was great. Of course if you want more you pay more for Gel etc. Girls did a great job I was very happy. Janet did my manicure Amy did my pedicure
Tammy is the real deal! I've been going to her for years, and she's seriously the only nail tech I trust. I always come to her with some wild, out-there nail art ideas, and she *always* brings them to life. Like, I'm talking intricate designs, crazy colors, you name it. She's a total artist. If you have a vision for your nails, Tammy is your girl.
First and last time here Was here on Thursday after my facial. paid for the $45 package pedicure . the moment she pulled out a driller without soaking my feet first ,I knew It's not gonna go well. I'been doing pedicure for the past 20 years. I can say I know the protocol pretty well She started to cut my nails, which is fine and then she use a driller to clean cuticles without any cuticle softer ?????? Omg it was painful I told her .. and she pretend she doesn't know what's going on. When she starts to clean my bottom feet again (all the other places I've been to they would put the cuticle softer for at least 2 to 3 minutes first ) this lady pulled out a bigger driller !!!! I had to stop her lol I have never experienced this horrible unprofessional, rush service before. I guess she was trying to save time to help the next Customer or something. I forgot to get her name but she's probably in her mid 60s ponytail white hair. Please avoid her.
UPDATE The response below is full of revisionist spin so let's clear a few things up with straight facts. 1. Forced "fix," not courtesy. it was imposed without asking. I wasn't consulted. I was told. That's not resolution, that's control. 2. Chipped by 7th day not "after a week." I showed you timestamped photos. Your "one-week policy" is useless if the product taps out a few days later. Call it what it is: a $62 seven-day manicure. 3. Your 4-6 week claim? Your words, not mine. This set didn't even survive 2 weeks! Durability that short is on your technique, not my calendar. 4. No special treatment happened. I picked my own color and I was the only client in the salon which was telling and still got rushed so drop the "we bent over backwards" narrative. 5. I refused a redo because I refuse to be fooled twice. If the first application fell apart why would I trust the redo especially after the guilt trip about "your time is money"? Newsflash: so is mine. Bottom line: blaming customers for your product's early death is not a "policy" it's deflection. I asked for accountability, not charity. Own the workmanship or take builder gel off the menu.
It was my second time going to this nail shop yesterday. The first time great, I can tell both technicians working on my hands and feet were well experienced so that motivated me to return. The salon is very clean and pretty. I was also offered something to drink including Vietnamese coffee which is a plus. Customer service was great so I appreciate that yet the technician working on my hands chose to remove the gel polish using the electric filler which only THINS the nails...I don't if she did that to get it done quicker but when she was done, although my nails looked pretty, they felt much thinner so I had a feeling one would break very soon which ofcourse one did today. My nails are naturally strong and thick as they were when I arrived until being filed down more than needed. The lady working on my feet was very nice but could use more knowledge with technique as she did not properly cut my cuticles, it was an ok job yet I appreciated the customer service until I went over to pay and she appeared disappointed with how much I was tipping ($12 each ) as if she was only working off of tips..that last moment including my nail breaking just ruined the whole experience. I'm a stay at home mom and going out to get my nails done means more now than it did before .....
Location is clean and I was helped quick but that's about it. They were not friendly. I went after Pilates class and was in my gym clothes sans make up and I guess I don't look like their usual clientele. They supposedly have free drinks but I was never offered anything. Lastly, they only used 2 layers of gel manicure instead of 3 and now my manicure is already chipping off. Not coming back.
5 Stars - The Only Nail Spa I Trust! I've been going to V Nail Spa for over 3 years, and I can confidently say that Van is truly exceptional at what she does. She has an incredible eye for detail and styles my nails so delicately and beautifully every time. They always turn out looking thin, natural, and perfectly identical--never bulky or overdone. Van has the best knowledge when it comes to colors and design. She always helps me choose the perfect shade and brings any pattern or idea I have to life with no problem at all. She's not only talented and creative, but also patient, friendly, and respectful, which makes every visit a relaxing experience. Her mom Tracy does my pedicures, and she is just as wonderful--super sweet, gentle, clean, and thorough. She takes her time and always makes sure everything is perfect, without ever rushing. The atmosphere at V Nail is calm, quiet, and clean--a true escape from the loud, chaotic vibe of other nail salons. I can actually relax here and enjoy every moment. I've recommended Van to several of my friends, and now they're all loyal clients who love her just as much as I do. Thank you, Van, for always being perfect--you are a gem!
Had a nail emergency (broken thumb nail before photo shoot) and V's saved the day! I did a walk-in on Monday soon after opening. The salon is huge and clean. The male worker who greeted me was not friendly. He was more interested in looking at his phone than serving customers. However, the nail techs were warm and inviting. I forget the names of the nail techs who did my nails (I believe Kim did my pedicure). They were meticulous and detailed. My manicurist used dip powder to mend my broken nail ($2) and it looked good as new. In total, my gel manicure + regular deluxe pedicure (the cheapest option) was $90! A good deal for such great service. I was in and out of there in a little over 1 hour. I would return when I'm in Irvine.

These are literally the best nails I've ever gotten. And I'm not exaggerating. These nails were done by JANET. I could tell Janet is well seasoned in doing nails by the way she was very caring, professional, and worked efficiently with time while also being meticulously detail-oriented. I am very picky about my nail shape and color-- and Janet's work was able to exceed my high standards. We were able to find the perfect color for me by combining dip powder pink and a white/beige gel coat Janet was super accommodating and kept saying "I just want to make sure you're happy" Bless her soul. Very affordable dip powder for only $45. Well worth every penny. read more

Came in for a fill which was $55 done by Jeanette, when I got home I noticed they were crooked on my right hand and my gel pedicure was $62 done by Tina. I'm reading that the owner on here says the gel pedicure is only supposed to be $50 and I chose the basic pedicure so I'm not sure where the extra $12 came from... giving 2 stars because the ladies were nice. read more

First time here and my experience was overall great. I got gel mani and pedi. I think my nail tech was Tammy. She did a decent job. Cons: There are some air bubbles on my nails and the nail polish is not clean near the cuticle lines. Pros: They have great color selections. read more

Van's the best! She always goes above my expectations whenever I ask her to do different designs on my nails. She's also very gentle and I've never gotten any cuts or had any soreness after getting my nails done like I've had in other nail salons I've gone to. I love that she takes her time doing my nails even when the salon is very busy. read more

Been going to V's Nails and seeing the same manicurist for almost 20 years. This spa is impeccably clean, customer service is second to none, and they even serve complimentary (adult) beverages. In addition to my gel mani-pedi, I also get waxing services as well. I have very particular preferences when it comes to my regular beauty upkeep; thus, it's nice to know I can always trust and rely on Van and her team to do an excellent job. As a repeat client, I've not yet been disappointed and would highly recommend this nail spa to anyone who is looking for a relaxing spa experience! read more

Van redid my nails and it looks soo cute. I was okay with her simply doing gel color but she offered to redo french and also added the flowers. She was really sweet about having me come back to do my nails again. I had a really good experience. I enjoyed my conversations with her too. I like this one ALOT better than the first one I had. I have been getting complimented on my nails already! read more

V's Nails and Spa is a lovely, spacious, and very clean salon! The ladies are super sweet! Pricing is reasonable, especially considering the area. Van, the manager, is so great at her job. I showed her a photo of what I wanted, and she seriously nailed it (no pun intended, lol). I was so happy with her work that I almost got in an accident going home from the salon because I kept looking at my nails! Appointments are preferred, but they do take walk-ins when the salon isn't busy. However, if you're planning to go after work (read: after 5PM), it's best to make an appointment the day before. Seems like they book up fast for same day appointments. Van responds to Yelp messages almost immediately, so go book that appointment! read more

It was my first time at this place and I AM SO OBSESSED. I recently moved out to Irvine area and it's been hard finding a good nail place. Some of the things I like about this place is 1) the parking. Idk about you, but parking stresses me out. Here, it's inside a plaza with TONS of parking. This plaza is pretty quiet compared to others plazas and you don't have to stress out about parking. 2) I LOVE TAMMY'S WORK!! I showed her what I wanted and she made it happen!! I love how DETAILED she is and she makes sure EVERY LITTLE THING comes out PERFECT! I came out super happy and loving my nails. She's also very friendly and it was really nice meeting her! Tina helped me with my gel pedicure and she was so sweet and nice too! 3) It was SO EASY to make an appointment. I just texted them and they responded less than 5 mins. I was able to book an appointment with Tammy within the next hour of when I texted them. It worked out perfectly! Overall, I am definitely coming back again!! I wish there was a way to leave zero stars - this place is HORRIBLE!!!! I made an appointment for a fill for 6:15 Tuesday Oct 22. I got there on time and was told to wait, around 6:20 someone came up to me and told me I would have to wait another 15-20 mins - I told her okay but I made an appointment and she just walked away - rude. Gina was who did my nails - she was rushing and not taking her time at all. While filing my nails because she was going so fast she started filing way too hard and it burned!!!! I pulled my hand away because it hurt and she said nothing. She replaced two nails and the two that she replaced were not the same size or shape as the older nails. I asked her why they weren't the same and she didn't say anything to me but instead started speaking in her language to another tech who then came over and stood over Gina's shoulder watching her fix my misshaped nails. One of the worst and most annoying feelings is when you know someone is talking about you and that is what Gina and this other lady did. When I left I was disgusted but what a horrible job Gina did on my nails and by how I was treated. My nails are sloppy, look horrible and are already lifting and it hasn't been a week yet. The worst part of all this is that I am taking my engagement pictures this weekend and have to go to another nail place to fix the horrible work that was done! read more

Clean nail salon with great customer service. I was one of those annoying walkins that called wanting to getting nails done. Then super disappointed it's going to take30 minutes but I settle and say ok. Get a quick call from Pam saying if I can make it in ASAP, they'll squeeze me in. Happy to go in as I was close by. I show up with pics in hand from a prior yelper. I could tell Pam was nervous but she went for it. A bit more modified than the pic but very happy for her to accommodate. Super sweet the whole time. I've been coming to this location for almost four years. Although they recently changed owners, all the same great staff is still in place and my favorite is Tammy. I have stuck with her since the beginning. She's a perfectionist, my nails are always perfect and I don't even have to tell her anything...she cares so much that she does a great job every time. I have also referred many clients to this nail spa and everyone has a very great experience! The place is not only beautiful, but it's super clean. They pay a high level of attention to sanitation and cleanliness. I also have a pedicure every time with Amy, she is also a meticulous nail practitioner and she keeps my feet soft and beautiful. I suggest you make this your go to nail spa! I've tried so many places in the area and these ladies are simply the best!! read more

I came in for a full new set of acrylics with a fun design for a festival I am planning on going to.... I didn't have a reservation and they were able to seat me relatively quick (10-15 min wait). However when I showed them what I wanted they weren't able to replicate the design so I compromised so something simpler. The end result looked good from the start but after a few hours it just turned bad. During the session the nail tech cut my skin and it burned so badly. The nail gel was piled on thick and turned lumpy. And by the end I could tell she was rushing to finish me to get another customer in. I am really disappointed with all the positive reviews I saw and the work that they showed. I thought they'd be able to do something fun and nice but it did not turn out well. I don't think I will come back here again. read more

I am in love with my nails that Tammy just did! I brought her a picture of what I wanted (headed to a cannabis wedding expo this weekend... yes, that's a thing!) and Tammy was able to get the look I wanted perfectly! I realize this style will be great for St. Patrick's Day too! The salon is clean, centrally located, not crowded and the girls there are very friendly. DO NOT GET YOUR BROWS DONE HERE UNLESS YOU WANT RAW SKIN! SEE MY PHOTOS! While the customer service is good, and the nails tech are well intentioned, the quality of this salon is extremely below average. After getting my nails done here, within 20 mins, the nail stickers on finger came off. Next, when I came back to fix the nail, I thought why not get my eyebrows done. I thought they would bring me to a waxing room. Instead, they did it in the nail station where they were fixing my nails. I usually get my eyebrows waxed pretty much every 3 months. My skin is not sensitive!! YET MY SKIN PEELED OFF! They don't know what they're doing! I have gotten my eyebrows waxed for years with no problems and this is a nightmare. I told the lady I was going on vacation and I'm currently sitting in my hotel with my eyebrows stinging. I had to put make up on the scars because of photos. I'm extremely disappointed. It really ruined my vacation because they are extremely noticeable PLEASE LOOK AT THE PHOTO TO SEE HOW BAD IT IS and putting make up on them is even worst for the skin but what can you do :( read more
