My husband was in accident in his 2006 Honda Ridgeline. Insurance deemed it totaled. We looked everywhere to find the same truck. There were plenty of small dealerships that had the Honda Ridgeline but something about the sales person I was not comfortable with. Other sales people I called were pretty iffy. I was so tired of looking but mostly trusting the dealership until I accidently came across VStar in Walnut Creek. I saw their 5 star reviews and I thought to myself, there is no way a car dealership can have so many 5 Stars. These reviews must all be related to one another (LOL!) which I thought. So I said, okay let me give it one last shot, because after this, I am done. So I went ahead and called to see about the 2013 Honda Ridgeline. The sales person I spoke with was very professional so we made an appt to see the truck. We were very impressed that the 2013 Honda Ridgeline was in great condition. We looked around the truck and it looked good just like the photos. It also drove nice. Gino made us feel very comfortable. Not pushy, answered all our questions even asked us if we saw the minor (small) bumper damage on the truck which we did not. He wanted to make sure we knew as much as he did about the truck. Amazing, who does that? It was something about this small car dealership and Gino that I really felt comfortable. I guess it was good energy. Well we did it, we purchased the Ridgeline and we love it. OMG! these reviews are NOT fake. (LOL!!!) Gino thank you so much for your genuine and trustworthy car dealership service. Your honesty and integrity make customers like me want to return again and again. Keep up the good work with your car business! Honesty is priceless. Happy customers......

VSTAR auto is a class in and of its own. Yuriy and Gino were professional throughout when we purchased a stunning 2007 Lexus Rx400h hybrid with only 74k miles. This was the 4th Lexus Rx400h we test drove and VSTAR had the cleanest one out the lot! You can tell they treat their purchasing criteria like a fine art collector with the stable of cars they curate for their customers. I love talking cars and both Yuriy and Gino didn't skip a beat! While testing I noticed the high beam was out and Gino promptly went out to get a new bulb to resolve the issue. I will definitely be back to do business with VSTAR again in the future. You guys give dealerships a good name, I wish there was more like you in the industry.

I am very impressed with VSTAR, Yuri and his team. I purchased a 350Z and the pricing was very competitive. They let me test drive the car and didn't rush me for any step of the process. I couldn't get my down payment because it was Sunday and the banks were closed. Yuri personally delivered the car the next day and when the bank was open. As for the 350Z. The interior and exterior was very clean when I purchased. VSTAR did an excellent job detailing the car. I've been driving the car for a month now and it feels like a brand new car. No issues. I'm very satisfied.

Gino was very responsive from the initial contact through Carfax, until the final delivery of the vehicle to my home.

UPDATE: I sent the picture of the "tar" oil to the owner and to his credit he responded quickly and…read moreapologized. He said that it was indeed obvious that the oil wasn't changed, and acknowledged this was a "miss" by his mechanic. I appreciated this bc at the time I was contending that the oil hadn't been changed, I felt like the "bad guy" when his mechanic was telling us that he had changed it. So I appreciated the call. In any case, this could have been a real problem for me had I not done my own checking and changed the oil myself, and no doubt I would have just been out-of-luck with no recourse. So even if not attributable to malice in this case, stuff can fall through the cracks and I recommend that you do your own thorough due diligence and not necessarily just take everything that is said at face value. ORIGINAL: Be careful and you should buy here only if you know cars or if you have a good mechanic. I came here only because they happened to have a rare model that I was looking for. The owner represented that they had changed the oil after I expressly asked. I honestly didn't care if they did or not, I just wanted to know so I would know to do it. After a cursory check after some driving, it was obvious from the dipstick that the "mechanic" had not. I went back to the dealership to get them to do it. When I returned, the owner swore up and down that his "mechanic" changed the oil, and that he didn't want to ask him to change it again bc then he'd be "calling his mechanic a liar." I said I couldn't speak to whether the "mechanic" was a liar or not, but see can see from the photo what eventually came out when I changed it. So yea, man, your "mechanic" is indeed, a liar. The owner then offered to reimburse me if I went to go change it at Midas nearby. Not trusting a "quickie oil change" place either I asked instead if the owner would just pay me the cost of the oil and filter and I'd do it myself. So buyer beware. They have a decent selection of interesting cars, but you should assume, regardless of what they tell you, that they did not do any maintenance to the car. Unless you are physically watching them as they do it, and even then I'm not sure I would trust them. You will either have to check everything yourself, or take it to your trusted mechanic. The one thing that is good, is that the salespeople seemed like decent enough people, but definitely are not thorough or take proper care in what they are doing. For 90% of buyers who don't know anything about cars they can probably get away with their behavior. But I'd recommend that you only buy here if if you really know your cars and know exactly what to check.

From start to finish, the negotiation process was fair, transparent, and refreshingly stress-free. They took the time to listen and worked with me to reach a deal that felt right for everyone. What really stood out was their commitment even after the sale--any minor vehicle issues were addressed promptly and professionally, which gave me great confidence in my purchase. Most importantly, this experience resonated deeply with my teenage daughter, who was with me throughout the process. It was her first time being part of a car purchase, and Moe and the team made it engaging, educational, and genuinely exciting for her. That alone made the experience even more memorable. If you're looking for a dealership that combines professionalism, integrity, and a personal touch, I highly recommend working with this team. The Morales Family.

I took 2020 BMW M2 in on a Thursday and they sold it over the weekend by Monday at a price they committed to. Chris is a class act and a gentleman. They also fixed a dent on my 2024 M2 I had bought elsewhere at a fraction of the price it would have cost me elsewhere. Chris also gave me a can of odor remover to get rid of the cigarette smell in this replacement car. I've always been hesitant to deal with car dealers, yet these guys were professional, helpful and problem solvers (even for a car that they were not trying to sell for me). I'd be sure to refer them and also take all my future and subsequent cars to them to move!
