Let's start with not being prejudice. I noticed that the staff seemed to think I couldn't pay for the services I was inquiring about on arrival. I was asked to pay before receiving services. Not only were they prejudice they were unruly. They had no intentions on doing my nails yet they let me sit getting a pedicure as they cleaned the store and talked among themselves in another language. Toward the end of my pedicure I was told they close at 7:30 even though I'm fully aware they close at 8. I was then asked to come back tomorrow for my full set. I then informed the staff that I had been kicked out of better places and I was leaving a review about their awful customer service skill they then tried to offer to complete the full services they had no intention on doing in the first place. This was the worst experience I've had at villa nails I've been going for almost 2 years now and let's start with how back in April Mai cancelled my appointment on my birthday and I had to find somebody to do my nails short notice which is very inconvenient. I told them not to take off my gel nails using the machine but they didn't listen they kept going back to the machine and they ruined my nail buds they are literally bending. it's going to take forever to grow and heal. Rainy Tuesday, decided to treat myself and daughter to a full set and pedi. We arrived at noon (no appointment) and were seated in about 5 minutes for the pedi. The massage chairs seem fairly new AND really delightful! My pedi tech was just ok. Not a very good foot rub. Good job on painting though. My daughters tech was more in the rough side. There two techs chattered on and on. I didn't care for that. Just wanted to relax. Lots of foreign chatter between the pedi girls. The male techs were more quiet. One man (long hair) quite the gentleman. Very kind to everyone. Even those he was not working on. He seemed to be popular with the clients. Found a hilarious typo on the pedicure menu. HELL TREATMENT EXTRA! Glad I didn't pay for that! The one techs consultant chatter was hell enough, that was free! The salon is nicely decorated. Bathroom was unkept, in need of cleaning. They do also offer eyebrow wax and tint and other facia/body hair removal as well. Children services are available. Natural mani and pedi. Full sets start around 45+. But the posted price and what I was charged was different. When I asked about it. She said "the ticket is the right price" not good for clients thinking what is posted is the price. Came in for a fillin with gel polish and a deluxe pedicure. During the service the male was very rough with feet and hands, pushing me instead of asking me to move how he needed me to move. He cut my cuticles so low that 3 of my fingers were bleeding. from my last visit at a different solan I had red gel polish under my nails, he didn't even clean it up. After 2 days the regular polish on my toes began to chip. I came by to get everything repaired and was told that they don't guarantee their regular polish but would fix it anyway. She also told me that they are very busy and that I should come back. I told them I'd wait. big mistake. I've been waiting for almost an hour. I will not be returning. I paid $90 and received some of the worst customer service ever. NEVER AGAIN WILL I RETURN. UPDATE: Eva fixed my nails and toes and I am forever grateful for her spirit and kindness. I may go back but I will only allow Eva to do my nails. I expect to be treated with kindness and respect when paying for a service. I thought I found a salon to go to permanently, but after my last two visits I became too fed up with this place. The first appointment that had me ready to never come back was after I waited almost 2 hours although I had an appointment to get my nails done. The last time was when I went in for a new set and Cindy attempted to shortcut the process by popping off my nails instead of soaking them off which is the proper removal method. After repeatedly saying ow I guess she didn't catch the hint so I asked her to soak them off to which she replied if I did that you'd be in here all day and tried to laugh it off. Don't overbook yourself thinking you can fly through clients to make more money. If it takes an hour to soak off and an hour for a set, then book clients accordingly. There's no way she would've been able to do the removal and new set in an hour. I found out when I went to my next salon that my nails were severely overfilled from going to VT Nails. That was the extra nail in the coffin. Never going back and I think this place should be reviewed by the proper authorities. read more

This was the worst manicure I've ever had in my life! I went in to get a mani pedi. The pedicure was great but by the time they started my manicure the spa was about to close. The lady, who I believe to be the manager, rushed my nails and cut me several times!! She cut my cuticles down so low that both of my thumbs were bleeding! The lady then threw nail glue over the blood to stop the bleeding. At that point I had dry sticky blood on my nails. My pointer finger and a couple other fingers were so raw from her cutting my cuticles down. I also had blue polish on my fingers that she didn't bother to wipe off. She then had the nerve to try to charge me full price for the manicure. I was so pissed leaving this place and in pain. Will never come back here. read more

I came here just to get a simple no chip. I previously had the dip done so she did soak my nails off as she was supposed to. However, the girl was obviously exhausted and was rushing to finish my nails. She tried to be polite to make up for rushing me through the manicure, yanking my hands closer to her and barely placing lotion on my hands and massaging them as she was supposed to. She also cut me twice while trimming my cuticles. I usually come here but I think I'm going to look around a bit now. The last couple times I've had service done here there has been an issue. The man in the back does terrible pedicures and he is incapable of doing dip manicures so his co-worker that sits next to him has to assist. It's been difficult to find a good manicurist. I'm considering going on style seat to find a shop that is less like a sweat shop. read more

I'm kind of at a loss for words because I just went into get a regular manicure and remove dip powder from four of my nails. The older lady working on my nails did not know what she was doing but I did not say much. I noticed she was very confused on how to remove the dip. At one point she seemed like she thought she was done removing but I clearly had a thick layer still on several nails, so I told her it's still on. I ended up having to peel it off three of my nails myself. She had already buffer my other nails down and they were ruined so at this point I figured oh well. She then cut my cuticles and made me bleed on several nails and proceeded to use the same tool to cut her own nail while I was sitting in front of her. She didn't stop the blood just kept sticking a paper towel on my nail. She did not give me a manicure but just ended up putting three layers of thick polish on my nails. I really didn't want to be rude and since my nails were ruined I just wanted them covered. She also wore no gloves, and kept picking at my nails with her own nails that had visible dirt or polish or whatever under them. I didn't say anything paid and left bc it was crowded and now I highly regret it. Please don't go here they are not sanitary. She pulled tools out her drawer used them on me, then herself, then threw them back in her drawer. I'm lucky if I don't end up with a nail fungus. read more

I came here for the first time last week in desperate need of someone, anyone to fix the mess another shop made of my acrylic nails. I AM IN LOVE! The place is very spacious. Plenty of room to fit any and everyone who needs a service. On top of this, it was clean. All of the employees were sweet and accommodating. I didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes and there were easily 10 other women getting serviced already when I stepped foot in the door. Cindy completely fixed and revamped my nails. She was honest, patient, and so funny!! We had great conversation while she did my nails. Not only did she do my nails, but my eyebrows and worked on me while another sweet man (I'm sorry, I can't remember his name!) did my toes. First time here and I'm sold!! Came in on a Sunday, a little busy but not too bad for a weekend. I got the basic pedicure ($28) which they do have 2 more for $40/$60! I will try next time... the girl was super gentle with my nails and payed attention to everything. I also got an acrylic fill in with a little design for v day and I loved them. Once again she did exactly how I asked and didn't take too long or rushed through it. This salon is super pretty and relaxing, for a little more buck you get the best! After years of coming to this nail shop, and having always praised the employees for great work, I will never be returning. For the past few months, I have made appointments well in advance, as I have for years, and recently, each time, they have either not written my appointment down in the books, or I have had to wait 1-2 hours. A customer should never have to call a shop 3 times to confirm if the appointment was indeed "written down" this time, only to be told they were never in the books, nor should they have to wait that long with an appointment. I have also been absolutely appalled with the level of professionalism as well as what clientele have been getting away with. I have encountered, on numerous occasions, customers causing a scene in order to get free services, after their nails and pedicures have been completed. I have seen the work that customers complain about, and typically, nothing has been wrong in those instances. Clearly, this shop has a reputation that "if you complain, you don't pay." Today was the final straw as I witnessed the same woman causing a scene in the shop that has done this multiple times when I have been there as well. The owner actually started arguing with her publicly. Mind you, this all occurred after the owner explained to me that my appointment was "yet again" not in the books, after I had called to confirm multiple times knowing their history of "forgetting to write my name down". I am tired of those of us who have been loyal customers (and actually pay for our services) getting shunned and waiting for hours "with appointments" and those that consistently complain and get free services to be seated right away and allowed to leave without paying. I am never one to complain, but this shop has become a horrific place. Additionally, prices just increased by 10 dollars for all services when their prices were already too high. If you expect your polish to last, think again. Their "deluxe pedicure" lasts about a day or so if you're lucky. Also, expect to pay for a full soak off of your nails, only for them to be popped off, because soaking them off the proper way, "just takes too much time", according to the owner. I walked out of the shop in pain on a few occasions, but always told myself, "I'm sure they were just having a stressful day." No...they just don't care, and I have finally realized that. You couldn't pay me to step foot in this shop again. I plan on finding a shop where I can relax without arguments breaking out with disrespectful customers as well as employees. Maybe my next shop will be a calming place where your nails last more than two days. Here's to hoping! read more

The guy that did my nails said he was also a tattoo artist. He should probably stick to that. For starters, he cut down my acrylic nails done by another salon and ended up cutting my thumb nail in half. This caused my finger to bleed uncontrollably. Then instead of being gentle he grabbed a pair of scissors and cut the dangling nail off. He then tried removing my acrylic nails by shoving another nail tip in between the space of the acrylic and my natural nails. He was so rough and left my nails miss shaped. The no chip paint was also just as bad. They didn't even offer to discount me for this mishap and my pedicure done by Cindy was just as rushed and rough and to top it off she had a nasty attitude. Sorry Cindy if you had a long day but proper customer service Is a must. To top it all off my nail broke off so easily. NEVER GOING TO RETURN. read more

I was a walk-in & I knew I had 2 people in front of me so I wasn't upset about the wait. I rarely get full set of acrylics done and decided to do it after my pedicure came out really nice. The same girl didn't do my nails. The owner/manager/appointment taker/nail technician/cashier helper and traffic advisor took me. She was directing what customer went to who & what people were doing on the register & taking phone calls it was crazy. I couldn't even relax it felt like to much. I asked for a full set of gel nails she talked me into regular acrylic nails with gel polish which was more $$ money. I said yes that's fine because I was excited and wanted them to come out looking good. I also asked for a design on one nail of each hand. They came out horrible and it was a total waste of an hour. DO NOT get nails done by manager and they need to stop overbooking. Everyone that came in as a walk in she told them they overbooked and also overbooked tomorrow morning as well so to try back after 2pm tomorrow afternoon. People called for appointments and she was giving them all the same times as well so now her afternoon is overbooked. Go figure.. I know it's hard to make money in nail salons and keep everyone happy but seriously quality over quantity always rules. I'm one less customer for them. If I wouldn't have gotten my nails done and just left with a pedicure I might have returned. They suggested the service knowing they were backed up. I have been coming to this place for about 2.5 years. Lately it's just disappointing. I liked that they had a very big selection of no chip colors with matching regular Polish for pedicures and they were also very sanitary because they would use a new set of tools on each customer. However later lately every time I go the salon they are nickel and dimming everything. Rather than soaking off the nails so they don't damage my nail they pop off the dip using some metal stick i bet if ask to soak they charge you extra and they don't tell you until the end when you ask why things cost more. Now they charge you extra for using new supplies on you which is something that used to be included in the price. No where does it state that the $40 pedicure promoted in their menu is really $42 for the tools they use that called false advertising. I asked for price of the tips added with dip and was told $50 later found out it was $57 for having to shape my nail into ballerina style because only square is included on the $50 price. I told him only do what's included because that was already more than the simple gel I intended on getting. Listen... when I ask for a price I want the real price. The dip nails were blue and the guy left blue stain all over my finger tips. I can't stand all the additional hidden costs. I'm going to find a new place. I'm sure they won't miss me they are plenty busy as if they are giving something out free. I'm sure most customers don't realize all the additional costs they are throwing in. Technician was nice but... My nails were done 4 days ago and I have multiple fingers with cut up bleeding cuticles. The shapes are uneven, feel bumpy, and already the ANC is rising up and chipped. He filed the polish down way too low, you can see my finger nails which you are not supposed to with this color. I usually have my manicure last 2 to 3 weeks and I'm not sure if this will last a full week. Very badly done. 45 dollars of wasted money as I was in a rush and traveling. Couldn't have it fixed it if I wanted to. Also didn't have 2 colors I originally send for. They need to restock or take color off ring if it is not available. First time coming to this location due to the original shop I wanted to go to was very busy. I randomly selected this shop because the reviews were pretty good and I saw the work of previous technicians. However, after my experience Saturday I will not be returning! One thing I can is the shop is very spacious and has a nice selection of colors! You seem to get serviced quickly which is a plus in most cases. I say that because sometimes you get the very tacky and less skilled nail technicians. Before being serviced I advised and showed one of the lady nail technicians EXACTLY how I want my nails done. It wasn't anything difficult and couldn't be achieved. So, I trusted she'd do a good job because for one you have a PICTURE & two, she sounded very confident. As she started working on my cuticles she used a drill that was way too big for my nail beds and moving too fast resulted in my nails starting to hurt. She continues and I advised her yet again that what she was doing was hurting and she ended up cutting me not once but twice!!!! This isn't my first time getting my nails done so I know how you can avoid certain steps & still make your nails look amazing. After, that incident I was already irritated. I showed her the picture once more so there wouldn't be any issues. She kept suggesting other methods which I didn't request. Listen to what I'm requesting andnot what you want to do. Of course, I was still maintaining my politeness however do what you're asked to do. Anywho, she started applying the acrylic which I noticed was very THICK! I advised her and she started getting snappy! Ma'am this looks tacky! After making a complete mess of my nails she started to shape them. My left was actually perfect but my right hand was yet again tacky. She didn't shape or even out my right hand to match the left which was clearly obvious. I advised her again and she got snappy again, excuse me miss obviously you don't know what you're doing. Finally, after she finished her "work" I advised the manager that I wouldn't be paying for this horrible job. I showed him a picture and he was kind enough to give me a discount. I wasn't upset or furious as I should've been because sometimes things like this happen unfortunately. It inconvenienced me because I went to another shop to have them take the acrylics off because it was that bad. I wanted to add that everyone experience is different, however I'd pay attention to ALL the reviews before stepping into a location you've never been. read more

I have been to this nail salon before and loved it but just went back for a fill this morning and the guy who did my nail added all these extra charges to my nail without telling me (apparently it's $5 to have your nails shaped) and the fill turned out to be $40 (EXTREMELY OVERPRICED) If you do decide to go make sure you don't get the guy and you'll have to keep asking how much while their doing your nails because when I called they told me a fill was $17. read more

So I went in today , which would be my second time going there since my regular salon was closed by the time I got out of work and I had the most unprofessional and horrible experience. Let me just say , I've never gotten angry at a nail salon , or dealt with someone so unprofessional. The manager did my nails and kept messing them up , so when I asked her to fix them (IN THE NICEST VOICE AND MANNER POSSIBLE) she got the biggest attitude with me, and at one point said "oh my god" raising her arms. Also , with DIP powder nails you are supposed to soak the previous dip off to protect the integrity of the nails , but this woman decided to take a nail spatula and pop my nails off and it was not a pleasant feeling and she proceeded to tell me that , that's how they do it. And ALSO she charged me extra just to pop off my nails. That's NOT how they do it because the one other time I went their they properly soaked them off. Me and her ended up having an argument because she got the nastiest attitude with me (and also this was during closing time) and I left crying. I've never had such poor customer service. And my nails look like crap , pictures doesn't do justice of how bad they took. I paid 60 for this crap. I'm so disappointed and I will be calling whoever I need to call to report this establishment. read more
