I usually like Waba Grill. This location is just horrible. From employees who cant get simple orders right to serious odor problem (smells like sewer half the times I have been there) to the multiple bone shards in my last bowl. This location needs to be avoided. Multiple pieces of long thin bone in one bowl after I had complained makes me wonder if this was intensional. If I worked at WaBa corporate offices I would be yanking this franchise before they hurt someone and get sued. read more

Horrible service. Placed order on app and get to pick up to find out the place decides to close at 3:30pm when signs clearly states at 10pm. The app processed my order and charged my credit card. No regards to customers who placed order to pick up and to be told, sorry we closed early. Happened twice already. Not refunded my money. Waba grill is one of my favorite go to lunch spots when I don't want to break my healthy diet... I always call in my order for takeout because this location seems to ALWAYS be busy, which isn't bad but calling expedites my wait time. The food is GREAT! Everything tastes fresh no matter the time of day. Not everything is perfect so I do have a flaw that I would like to announce. Make sure you check your takeout order. Open up the bag if you have to. The last order I placed was wrong, my fiancé went to pick it up and came home empty handed. I called in and spoke with the manager on duty, she replaced my order free of charge and refunded the first order to compensate the travel and inconvenience. I was upset in the beginning but her customer service was impeccable and much appreciated. We also saw a big black spider in the sauce tray by the register. We also brought that to their attention. Other than that, this is a great location. During their peak hours be sure to check your takeout orders. Thanks so much! We will be back for sure! read more

The chicken does not taste fresh. It's very dry. I usually go to the waba spot in Norco or next to my job in riverside. Never has the chicken tasted this dry. Either been over cooked or they are using old chicken. Whatever it is, seems like management doesn't give a dam since they have so many bad reviews for this location. read more

Girl at the counter was very rude. I was waiting for my drink cup and she took the pick up order and made me wait for my cup, and acted annoyed when I asked for it. Let's begin with the place smelled like it has a sewer issue. I ordered the steak and veggie bowl without rice. Steak had no natural flavor just tasted like sweet teriyaki sauce 100%. The steak looked more like it was beef jerky that had been steamed to get soft again. The bowl was over $8 and they give you about $1.50 worth of meat. Veggies had no flavor what so ever. Just ordered the salmon and veggie bowl. I took one bite of the salmon and wanted to spit it out. It's doesn't look like it's even salmon. It's very white In color and barely tastes like it could be salmon. Really gross! I called and the lady said it is salmon and it's wild caught. I find that very hard to believe since wild caught salmon is a darker pink in color. So I threw out the salmon and ate the veggies and rice. Never getting that again. read more

Wasn't too happy to pick up my order only to be told there were two instead of what I phone ordered of three. But the guy cooked it as quickly as he could but still had to wait when the whole idea of ordering ahead was to avoid waiting. But it's cool until I got home and realized that my bowls all had no veggies in them when I paid for salmon/veggie bowl.... geez that'll teach me to make sure to double check my order before leaving any establishments. The first time my husband and I are here we ordered the chicken plate. While eating he bit into a bone so hard it cracked his tooth. We've never had any bones in the chicken plates before! He showed the workers and all they offered to do was comp our meal !! Weeks later I decided to give it a try again and ordered the family meal to go. This Waba sucks to say the least. There is never anyone in here at lunchtime for a reason. The chicken is dry and the rice is hard. The vegetables have no flavor and are like biting into concrete. Never had a problem with the employees although they do not seem happy to be at work. Do yourself a favor a drive a little further to the La Sierra location, a million times better. Tried this place for the first time since we constantly get coupons. The service was awful. 3 people working; 1 cook, 1 order taker and 1 "bagger" guy. The bagger guy should have been back there helping the cook because the slow cook by himself left nothing to be bagged so the bag guy was standing around doing nothing most of the time. Waited 25 minutes for my order. The food itself wasn't great. They push the health factor but all their food is high in calories. And it's high in price. I'll be sticking with Flame Broiler. Well this is the worst location I've been to. From the minute i walked in there I was already not liking the smell. It smelled like chemicals from a restroom but I decided I can deal with it. We sat down. They close at 10 was there at 8:50 & the lady was already putting chairs up an hour early!! Felt it was rude she was putting up chairs near us an hour early. These employees are rude. Or disgruntled. Which ever, I will not be ordering here anymore. I've come here at lunch and at dinner and it's pretty much the same every time. They turn off their open sign one hour before closing. I walked up at 7:59 PM as the blonde female turned off the open sign right in front of me and the door says that they close at nine. I'm sure the owner would like to know what his employees are up to. They clearly don't want any more customers that last hour. The Asian fellow in the kitchen, which also helped me at the counter, seemed to be pretty annoyed that I was there to place an order. He quickly realized his demeanor once I got catty with him for his bad attitude and dumb look on his face. If this was the first offense I might give this place three stars but because this is going on continuously, I give them one Good luck to the owner! Especially because three other Waba Grill's just popped up within a 2 mile radius. People have options and don't want to deal with these low standard employees. read more

I will start by saying I'm not one to complain and I have worked in customer service and food establishments before. My girlfriend and I went in to order food. We ordered and recieved our food quick. Drove less then 10 min and got home and opened the bowls to find what's in the pictures. She ordered a chicken bowl with veggies and rice and I ordered a steak and rice bowl. The chicken was super fatty to start. A whole chunk of fat is seen in one of the pictures. I get thin cut chicken, but that much fat? And not to mention it was undercooked because some of the pieces were slimy. Second, the carrots had mold. I don't know how an establishment could be okay serving this. After spending the money on the food, then calling to state what happened and they said we will be in touch, that is bad customer service, horrible sanitary and food safety, and explains why this is a 2 star establishment. VEGANS AND VEGETARIANS BEWARE!!! This place serves tofu which is great since my daughter and I don't eat meat. We were excited that they finally opened, we went in and ordered the veggie bowl with tofu only to find out that they cook the tofu TOGETHER with the CHICKEN and use the same utensils. When I saw that I declined the tofu. They all looked so confused when I told them why we couldn't eat it. This makes absolutely no sense. I ordered the Half-Half Veggie Bowl only, which is beef, chicken, veggies, and rice. Option of white or brown rice is available. Tastes good and was filling.
