The lady who is here working is very rude and argumentative. My husband asked for a mini half and half bowl and she gave him a chicken bowl. I sent him back up there and she wouldn't make it right. So I came back myself. I told her I would like a refund if she couldn't give me what my husband asked for. She argued me down and told me she'll show me the cameras I told her I will wait. So I sat down and waited. The sound is too low you can't hear him. I always get the same thing every time I come here. I will never return here again and I've been coming for the last 15 years. I don't usually review franchises because you generally know what to expect, it's the same menu across all locations. However, I want to comment on the customer service here, which was much better than what I anticipated based on recent reviews. The staff was very polite and efficient when taking my order. The food came out really quickly, and I had no trouble getting more sauce. I was in and out within 5 minutes. I've visited several Flame Broiler locations, and this one is definitely among my favorites. My rule is simple, if you are the owner and you become rude to your customers for something so simple as asking for sauces, then in my books you are petty and stingy. I paid 32.75 for three organic tofu bowls. This young guy who claimed himself to be the owner today when I went to this branch of flame broiler I have a message for you: "if you run a restaurant or a fast food joint, learn your customer service basics. If I asked you for sauces and you gave me the evil eye and told me that I cannot give you more cause I already gave you more and is against the store policy (which you gave me exactly 15 of those tiny little sauce cups) Then number 1: show me the damn policy, number 2: tell me before I ask you for sauces that hey I can give you this much but after that unfortunately I have to charge you. Just be NICE! Correct! But why would you! You wanted to be a big good guy and didn't wanted to charge, but when I asked for more you become rude! So tell me from the get go that there is a charge after a certain limit, so as a customer I know. But No! You had to be rude about it. If you had informed me nicely like a nice person would do I would have gladly paid you your $0.50 cents a cup. Just to put it in perspective, even if I open those small little sauce cups (which is not even filled to the max) and I put them in a bowl, it won't even make a dent, and that's how much of the sauces you gave me when I asked you today. Before this owner there was another gentlemen who was super nice and never had a bad experience with him. You can even check my previous review. But man I came back after ages to eat at this location and this is what I had to go through. The reason for the owner being rude was after asking for sauces, I asked him for some Jalapeños which was free at one point in time, at that he snapped. And again we were three of us. So our request for sauces were more. Again who cares if I had to pay for this extra sauces! Just inform me nicely. I paid almost $32 which you made profit of, so why would I care to pay you another $5 for those damn sauces if I had to. But the issue was you became rude to me and you become stingy bout those little tiny cup of sauces that you give to your clients. Had to driver another 8-9 miles and this store that won't cancel, closes earlier than other stores at 8pm, so I had to rush over. No problem with the sauces I needed. 2 magic sauces cups and 3 jalapeños. I'd preferred the pump dispensers they had, but they were not filled or used at all. But I noticed more rice than beef. I'm just disappointed in the food. We ordered the tofu bowls with vegetables instead of rice. Perhaps it would've been better if we chose rice instead of vegetables. There was an adequate amount of tofu. The salad simply consisted of Shredded raw green cabbage. The hot sauce tasted like what you might get from Taco Bell which is OK if that is what you are hoping for. But the major disappointment for me was, I was expecting sautéed vegetables, and I received steamed cabbage and carrots. This is the sort of thing one would expect in the 1980s when going to Denny's and asking for a vegetarian meal when nobody heard of vegetarian food, but this is 2024 and people know about vegetarian food, and people want some flavor and texture . So basically, I got a bowl of little tofu cubes with no flavor, although they were slightly charred a little bit, and some raw shredded cabbage and 3 or 4 pieces of steamed cabbage and thinly sliced rounds of carrots with zero flavor. The only flavor in this bowl came from the hot sauce. The restaurant calls itself Korean style so I was expecting a lot more flavor. This was like a "diet plate" from 1985 . read more

I LOVE the Flame Broiler but this location is a bit stingy in the meat portion, especially if u use a coupon for the 4-bowl family order. The staff is friendly but the restaurant is a bit grimy and sticky. Obviously they're busy enough to slack on the cleanliness aspect. I wouldnt mind ordering "to go" from here, but definitely would not eat at the restaurant again. The McKinley Street location is a cleaner and a brighter facility. Their bowl serving is more hearty and generous with the meat & veggies portion. I'm more comfortable bringing my family to eat in the Corona restaurant. read more
