As a fellow server, I don't leave negative reviews lightly, but this experience was extremely disappointing. From the moment we arrived, the service felt like we were inconveniencing the staff. The male host/server was unfriendly and made us feel like helping guests was a chore. Instead of placing our food on the table, he handed us our plates, which came across as unprofessional. The food only added to the disappointment. The food took way to long to come out. The toast was burnt, the eggs were cold, and there was very little table service or follow-up after our food was delivered. No one checked on us to see if everything was okay or if we needed anything. Working in the service industry myself, I understand that everyone has difficult days, but being courteous and welcoming is a fundamental part of hospitality. Guests should never feel like they're a burden simply for dining at a restaurant. Denny's, I hope you invest more in training your staff on both customer service and proper serving etiquette. Your hosts and servers are the face of your restaurant, and professionalism and kindness go a long way. This was one of the most unprofessional dining experiences I've had, and it was truly disappointing. read more

If I could only give this restaurant zero stars. The front staff is real unprofessional. First they make you wait for a long time without even looking at you nor saying anything. Then you could actually hear one of them literally yelling at the cooks in front of the costumers. I asked for a manager and they said they don't have any on site to tray the next day. 10/30/25 6:30pm; I signed up for the Denny's Rewards program when we were seated, and I got the Welcome Offer. We got our drinks and then I showed our server the offer on my phone because it was for a free item from "an eligible list" with a minimum $1 purchase, so I wanted to know what I could get from the eligible list (it was not stated online.) The server said that he did not know what it was, so I pulled up the barcode (the scan-in restaurant barcode) and asked if he could scan it or find out for us. He would not. Ok, I'm not one to review these chain restaurants, because sometimes you try one you've tried them all. But this place just has a warm family feel. From the moment we enter, we're instantly greeted by either Sam the owner or the usual servers. And if it's servers we know, they remember exactly what my kids like down to the drinks. Excellent memory! My husband started taking my boys here a while back and it was their special daddy and the boys time at Denny's. I was usually working. The boys would rave about their favorite breakfast spot and got me curious about how this place could be so special to them. Finally, I gave in and joined them. Immediately, I understood why. It was the friendly, hardworking people that made all the difference. This is seriously a hidden neighborhood gem. Being a fitness trainer, I'm always looking for healthier options. They offer a few options on their menu. I usually get the fitslam or the hearty 9 grains pancakes and I share with the fam... because you know they always give generous portions! read more

The food was delicious , the service was awful. When we walked in we were asked to seat our self by a server named Patrica. She was nice but not attentive at all. There was a total of 5 people in the restaurant including my guest and myself. We order an appetizer and it came out in 15 minutes, but she didn't offer to take our food order until she came back from the back of the house 25 minutes later. We ate with no drink refills offered and we wanted to get a dessert and she dropped off the bill mid meal, no comments or conversation exchanged. She also made the only other guest upset in the restaurant causing a minor scene. The restaurant was overall clean . This location wasn't worse than the Norco location at least. I haven't written a Yelp review in a long time. Most of the time I'm content to order my food, eat it, and whatever will be will be. Today I ordered a flamin 5 pepper burger. It tasted fine, up until I realized it had left something in my mouth that didn't feel like food. I fished it out from my mouth and realized it was a piece of aluminum foil. Then I looked in the burger and there was quite a lot of foil either in the patty (like literally inside the meat) and still left on the cheese. I have included photos of the foil both taken out and while still in the burger so it can't be argued that I placed it there. And this is just the foil I was able to find by eyeing the burger. I haven't finished it (I don't intend to) so I don't even know if more surprises await me inside. Never coming back. read more

Our group of friends comes in once or twice a month during the week and if Luis is our server we know we will be treated right! He is so kind and friendly and we never have to ask for anything twice. In fact he usually gets us everything we need before we ask. A couple of the ladies love that he keeps their coffee cups full without having to chase after him. We always appreciate the Value Meal specials offered at Denny's. If we are celebrating a birthday with a special birthday cake,, the servers are always so nice to offer to bring us extra plates and forks. They even usually offer to take a group picture of us which we really appreciate! In all the years we've been coming here we never have had a problem with the food - always served hot, fresh, and without delay. Wow! I'm super impressed first thing I ordered the banana strawberry stack of blueberry pancakes and let me just say this is my new favorite go to. Less then $6.00 the pancakes are thick and delicious. Also they didn't skimp out on the fresh fruit talk about overload. Thank you so much I honestly wasn't expecting much, but definitely made my afternoon/ morning better. Yep, could've been better for sure (2 stars). I swore off Denny's years ago, but we were driving through this area, heading home, during breakfast time and thought what the heck. Ordered the lumberjack plate that included 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausage, 1 ham, hash browns, toast and pancakes (I was hungry). The eggs, hash browns and pancakes were okay. The toast wasn't really toasted, as the "butter" swiped on it was not fully melted. The sausage was not charred, albeit appeared cooked through, without much flavor. The bacon was a joke, thinner than paper and only about 4 inches in length. The ham, if it was ham, was edible - that's about it. I did not get ill from my meal, although I felt bloated for hours (I ate about 1 whole pancake). The coffee? It was alright, but tasted slightly as if it had been on the hot plate for a couple hours. The wife did not make any complaints about her breakfast (pancakes, eggs and bacon), but that's her and not me. I will be taking another multi-year hiatus from any Denny's restaurant again, if I can help it. read more
