Alright here we go again. I don't understand how a manager can refuse to refund a bowl after we told them that the rice taste soapy? Yup that's right whoever made the rice forgot to rinse the water they cook the rice with or something? Rice had a strong aroma of soap and tasted like soap! When we tried to get a refund after explaining the issue the manager who the employees in the store was trying to reach was declining the refund because one bowl was gone and the other one still had rice. Smh that's a shame it's cool your shady unprofessionalism shows exactly what kind of manager you are. Greedy. It's cool I reached out to your office after you guys tried to give me chicken to remedy the situation and half a refund. Wow. For anyone that may have trouble at this location the manager or supervisor whoever she is doesn't care about feedback or customer concerns. So here's the number I called and followed the prompts on the phone to complain. 1(562)908-9222 or email feedback@wabagrill.com. Don't waste your time talking to the managers or wait for them to call whoever on the phone. They don't care. Good luck and eat at your own risk!

For a quick lunch out I cannot complain. We stopped by here after shopping and no line. The cashier was great not a long wait. I went with the shrimp, food was pretty good.

Tried WaBa Grill the other day in my honest opinion it was subpar at best. I asked for my sauce on the side because they said their sauce was kind of like teriyaki sauce and I personally don't like teriyaki so I was disappointed when I opened it up and there was teriyaki style sauce all over my salmon. I also didn't get to have any veggies with my food because they ran out I went late though so not holding it against them. I honestly barely ate the food the first day because it was kind of bland besides the Teri style sauce which I didn't enjoy but I did end up adding my own ingredients and making a really good fried rice with the leftovers the next day so that was a plus. There isn't much to mention about the Customer service they took my order and checked me out; I will say that the girl who checked me out took the time to recommend a sauce and didn't rush me even though it was near closing time.

It is a nice change of pace from the average fast food restaurant. I don't have a WaBa Grill at home and wanted something other than burger and fries while I was away on business. I stumbled across WaBa Grill while walking around the shopping plaza and thought it looked good enough to stop in. I was instantly greeted by a cheery young woman behind the counter and plexiglas barrier. She explained to me what they did so I ordered a shrimp and rice bowl. She rang me up and then I went to wait. It wasn't a long wait but I have to say it was encouraging it wasn't instant. Made me think everything was nice and fresh. I waited maybe ten minutes and then received my to-go order. It was a fine meal - this wasn't the best I have ever eaten but for what it is it was amazing. It was fresh and healthier than what I had been eating.

I honestly hate writing these reviews but because of the service we received, I think it's a must. So we had ordered two salads and two bowls. As always the bowls were fine hence why I left some stars. As for the salads, we received two house salads. At first glance the salads seemed alright at the most. The bowl was filled with nothing but lettuce with two tomatoes to decorate the top and a couple pieces of carrots scattered around the bowl. Not mixed in. Now here's the worst part. As we went on to eat the salad, there was nothing but rotten/old veggies in the middle of the salad. It was clear that they were trying to hide it within the bowl and not just in one but both bowls. To top things off when we informed the employee, all she said was that she was a new worker and smirked looking at our old veggies that we showed her. We used to come pretty often before but I believe. It's under new management now? If they keep it up with the rotten veggies, I don't think they'll last long.

Wow! Going to a cruise in California we had to charge the Tesla and I heard about waba on YouTube. And wow this place is amazing! The chicken here was so sweet and spicy. The brown rice was really tender and I tried my wife's steak and I thought I was eating kbbq! It's a quick review but highly recommend especially if you got to charge up since there is super chargers near by

What an awesome concept! I hope this expands to Las Vegas! We were on our way home to Vegas, from LA. We saw the Farmer Boys and were going to eat there. As we pulled into the parking lot, I saw this place and decided to check it out... We looked inside, and decided to try it! I am so happy we did! This is my new stop every time I'm going to and from California! I ordered the Plate. I preferred the beef over chicken, but both were great! The salad dressing was delicious! I thought the fresh fruit on the side was a HUGE bonus! I can't wait to try everything on the menu. Shrimp, Salmon, short ribs, just to start. They have Vegan options, vegetarian options, as well as Brown Rice. If you want a healthy option for your drive, or you live in the area, I highly recommend this business. The only reason they got 4 out of 5 stars was because they don't have Paper Towels in the bathroom. I hate having a heat blower as my only option to dry my hands.

Love the healthy options this restaurant offers. My favorite is the beef, chicken and veggie bowl. The beef is very tasty and tender. The vegetables are always fresh and I like that I can choose Between white and brown rice. They also offer salads and seafood. Service is fast and friendly. Why did I pay $10 to eat here to feel hungry afterwards? I've been to Waba a few times in the past, and that's probably why I don't frequent here. Small meat portions , salty, and for the price, I can get a more legit bowl of something else for the same price. Now I'm going to In n Out for a burger to satisfy my hunger...when all I wanted was a filling steak bowl. read more

So I ordered a salmon bowl as I have before at other locations. Usually takes them a couple of minutes to grill the salmon and get it to you. This guy here, the cook, had it ready in about 3 mins. The edges were somewhat warm and the rest was ice cold. I won't be coming back here and not should you. read more

Great service. Great food. I come here often any they never fail my order. I do have to say that the can pound on the sauce a little too much, but it's still great. If you're looking for a high protein meal then you HAVE to ask to not add sauce on the food or the grill. I often do phone orders, and out of the whole 3 years of going to this Waba Grill they didn't answer my call once, which is acceptable for me. Overall I love the employees and the location since it's right off the freeway. read more

fyi this is based on my personal preference and price point i ordered a salmon bowl and a bbq chickin salad meal the salmon bowl did not come with vegies...slab o salmon and rice ...for 8 bucks or so.....meh....so sauces.....zip the bbq chickin meal salad.......i cant even tell u how under whelmed i was....i will say i ate it any way cause i was hungry. the chicken was bbq???? and that was all about it that was bbq?????and came with thousand island dressing.....i ve been to Hawaii and this isnt any where near close to thier claims. service was friendly but a bit millennial read more

I Went in yesterday Sunday Nov.11 or the 12th. At around 5:00 or 6:00..ordered 2 salmon plates.with Brown rice...The Cashier told Me it was $40 for 2 plates, NO Drinks.. ( what the Heck?? $$$) I walked out...I could of went out to a Sit Down Restaurant. For $20 a plate. Seriously to Expensive. read more

Just popped in for lunch. Should have grabbed Subway. Food came out quickly but we noticed immediately that it was drenched in sauce. The second thing we noticed was that the extra 50 cents that we paid for veggies on one of the bowls apparently meant to them that we also wanted less meat. Not that it ended up mattering anyway, we threw two-thirds of it away. If we ever somehow ended up back there we would definitely skip the beef and stick to the chicken. read more

Went in on Sat 12/17 with my coupon and was told they no longer accept coupons. That the owner will not allow coupons anymore. When I ask for the owners name, the two young men working there look at each other asking each other what's the owners name and laughing about it. They did give me a name and also told me to look it up online. Did notice the restaurant was empty, and the ones next to you were full. If your employees keep treating the customers with no respect your restaurant will remain empty. read more

First time trying out this place. We ordered a party tray and within 30 minutes they saved our party. Normally they need a 24 hr notice. The trays were full, veggies cooked perfectly! And the chicken had a crispy exterior. They even included a whole bottle of their signature teriyaki sauce! (Awesome!) Customer service was great as well. We will definitely be back! This was just "ok" for me. The chicken was a little dry( white meat), the brown rice was undercooked and chewy. The veggies were cooked well. The green onions( optional) was a nice touch. We took it to go, portion was ok for the price and enough for 2 people. I was only passing thru so this would not be a regular stop for me. read more

Yesterday was my first time at Waba Grill. I enjoyed it so much, I went back today. Both times I ordered the rib plate. Yesterday I had the brown rice, today I had the white rice. Both times, the rice was cooked to perfection. The meat was tasty and the portion size was very generous. The employees were friendly, service was fast and the store was clean. No, I could place a second order to get the fried rice. Ok, whatever, I'll take the steamed rice. The Orange Chicken was like rubber. I tried to bite a piece in half and it wouldn't pull apart, so the whole piece went in my mouth and I had to use my fingers to pull it apart which was embarrassing on a first date! It didn't taste good either. I looked for a knife in the plastic silverware, but there was none. I then went for a bite of the rice and it was so stuck together that I really had to jam my fork into it. It had no flavor at all and I was not offered any kind of sauce for it. I got some salt, but it didn't help. It had obviously been in a cup and turned over on a plate (there was no bowl) so I don't see why they couldn't have substituted the fried rice. The carrots were rubbery too. The only thing half way good was the broccoli. I opted for water to drink because I couldn't see paying over $6 for flavored ice tea. I didn't want my date to feel bad for buying me such a horrible meal, so I managed to get a couple of bites down. He asked if I wanted a box. No, but I said yes, again not wanting him to feel bad. I tried the Orange Chicken again when I got home, using my paring knife, and it was still so bad that I threw the whole thing away. There were only 6-8 people in the place, but it was so noisy that I had to keep asking my date to repeat what he said because I couldn't hear him. I was looking forward to a new place to eat and the online menu looked so great... How sad.

I frequently visit Waba Grill maybe 2-3 times a week , and I must say, The first thing that caught my attention was the freshness of the ingredients. The vegetables were crisp, and the meat was tender and flavorful. I opted for the chicken bowl, and it was cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of seasoning. And flavor for about 3 years now I have been coming to This location due to their food. The portion sizes are generous, ensuring that you get great value for your money. The rice was fluffy, and the teriyaki sauce added a nice touch of sweetness without being overpowering. With this being said I have many complaints on the service that kelcey G has been providing by forcing a smile , chewing gum near the food. And seems to me that she has been smoking or is doing some drug her eyes were low and red. Or not sure if she is tired , I do want to give a thank you to a shorter girl with glasses she has been there and is nice. Kelcey is not a good restaurant representative and smacking gum while in the kitchen isn't my opinion is disrespectful to do. As soon as she finished taking my order she walked towards the back to probably go on her phone and when she came back did not wash her hands. During this time last year kelcey use to help us alot me and my friends would go a lot and she was always rude and in a bad mood never wanted to take our order always walked to the back when we would walk in so she wouldn't have to help us. Which is very unprofessional not sure why management has not addressed this problem with kelcey. I was reading the reviews on "not recommended" kelcey has over 15+ reviews about her regarding her horrible appearance working at Waba grill , why and how do they still let her work here ? They should put her as a cook if she isn't going to want to have good customer service or work at McDonald's they don't care there. My patience with this disgusting behavior is over we will be taking a break from Waba thanks for KELCEY hope when I come back she isn't here anymore or has fixed her behavior. Multiple times now I have came into Waba grill when the same girls are working one with the name kelcey and the other not sure but they are aways unavailable where when I'm in there they will both go to the back or instead of helping customers talking to eachother or the cooks which is unprofessional I understand when no one is there but while customer are there you should acknowledge them. I do want to say thank you to the 2 cooks working today when I get in they were cooking fresh chicken smelled amazing when I went in. The food here is always fresh and new old. The quality is amazing. But Kelcey just always disappoints me I use to go here almost everyday last year and I kept receiving so much attitude from her she was always mad seemed like she didn't want to be working. Recently I've been coming in the morning and been receiving service from I believe is the manger she is always so nice sometimes it's a little hard to understand her because she has an accent but she absolutely nice and welcoming nothing compared to Kelsey's horrible service. I want to give a big shout out to the morning team at Waba grill their dine in is always so clean and restrooms are clean , with the other night team which include kelcey and the other young lady they seem like teenagers who don't care and have the dine in dirty restrooms dirty . Very upsetting I hope this helps many of you decide if you should go to waba I recommend going in the morning when the manger is there she is so nice :) Thank you I hope to get your name so I can thank you next time . This use to be the best location but not no more :/! These past 2 weeks I went into Waba grill 3 times which when the same two girls were working one with the name kelce the other one not sure her name but she is shorter looked like she was wearing cargos both times. They are very judgmental and rude they stare a lot and give there back towards customers multiple times, just because they are socializing. Usually when I go kelce is the one that takes my order and you can tell her is forcing herself to me nice almost a year ago she helped me out and was so rude and now it's like she's trying to be nice but you can tell she is being forced , not just that but these ladies are not professional at all staring at customer and looking like your talking about us isn't right we felt so uncomfortable with kelce and the other lady. I don't understand why mangement has younger teenagers working along in my opinion a manger should always be there unless one of them is a manger. I do want to give another complaint on how dirty kelce was giving me my bowl she left the lid with lots of sauce it was a disgusting amount I had to try and take some off with a napkin. Overall customer service from kelce and the other girl is a 0 if you want to be judged and feel discriminated come here but if not come with me to Roy Roger's location because this was unacceptable:/ read more

Jay T. Is very correct about this nasty Waba Grill. It is infested with roaches! Thank God the health Department shut this place down! Hopefully the Ratchet Amanjit, her side kick Megan & Dirty Little Amber will see how the tables have turned for them. This is what they get for treating people so rude and disrespectfully & threatening ex-employees if they spoke up about all the corrupt stuff going on there & the roaches! My minor child was told she was going to be "sued" and her tips were taken away by Amanjit because she said they were hers anyways because she owned the store! I wonder why Amanjit refused to sign the report for the Health Department?? Lol!!! Now she knows how it feels to be written up too, in front of the public just like she has done to her employees over and over again in the dining area!! I wonder how she would have dealt with them cursing at her the way that she curses at her employees also. The last thing I'd like to say is "Clean it up Nasty Amanjit, Filthy Megan & Dirty Amber! I love the food at Waba Grill, it's always fresh and delicious. However, the customer service leaves much to be desired, especially from Kelcey. She is consistently in a bad mood and gives attitude to customers. This isn't the first time I've experienced this; it's happened multiple times and it's very disturbing. It's a shame because the food is great, but the poor customer service really detracts from the whole experience at this location. Usually whenever I go she is the one working and with my luck she takes my order. It seems to me that she does not want to work there, also when I see she put sauce on the food she puts a lot and a disgusting amount but because she's distracted talking to the cooks laughing with them instead of focusing on customer service , dinning is some what cleat again instead of cleaning cashiers are talking. I wouldn't recommend this location if you care about customer service . I am very disappointed with this location they use to have the best service and food but they have not prioritized customer service they have a lot of rude teens working here , sort of like McDonald's that they are completely rude. read more

Does anyone know how I can contact the owners or corporate? I put in a review about 2 months ago and it shows to be deleted. About 2 months ago or less I recieved the worst customer service from two young ladies one named Kelcey G. which was my server as shown on the receipt. I walk in and the two young ladies are talking as I am waiting for someone to take my order and no one approaches me. When Kelcey finally decides to take my order she is constantly rude, giving attitude, and rushing me by saying "is that all" over and over with attitude . When I finished my order she went back to talking but I was going to make a second order which she didn't let me proceed. Once my order was ready she called out my order and as I am walking towards her she leaves my food on the counter to just grab it without letting me ask her if she can ring me up for another item. After this incident I did not want to go to waba grill anymore until yesterday, the same incident happened which is unreal, if someone doesn't want to be there helping other why are they even working. I hope corporate sees this and realized this is the worst customer service. read more

I come to this location about 1-2 times a week because it is near my job and usually dine in for a quick lunch break . The food has always been amazing which is why I spend $20-30 here a week it is healthy and always fresh and fast, sometimes I decide to take my family and we spend over $100 in one week at this location which is why it is very disappointing when the service is bad. For the past few months that I have been going the customer service has not been priority my boyfriend has mentioned to me as well that the service from one specific employee is always horrible. She is very judgy towards customers and stares which makes us feel uncomfortable. Her name is kelsy . I tried calling the store but the manager was not available. I recently had a terrible experience with employee "kelcey" my husband said that is her name because he goes often and already knows her name . Her service was absolutely horrible today She was unprofessional and didn't seem to care about providing quality service. I decided to write a review on her and as I am scrolling I check the not recommended reviews, and it turns out many other customers have had similar issues. It's clear that she's over all of this and not interested in improving. I would not recommend her to anyone. I seen over 10 reviews regarding her customer service . Went into Waba grill last week on Wednesday and received an unpleasant experience here with cashier kelcey she was rude and did not respond to my questions. Rushing me while ordering , I asked her a question while she was talking to another female and she just nodded her head didn't even look at me , very upsetting . I didn't really want to go again but Wednesday 11/21/24 I decided to go again and received friendly , fast, and polite service . Food is amazing usually depends on what cook is working but the one today nailed it honestly food tasted really fresh , although the customer service was really bad I threw away my receipt so I didn't get her name I did stay a while to try and hear her name and it was kelce she was really rude she was in a rush taking my order rolled her eyes probably because we were taking long to order and she kept staring back in the kitchen like if it was busy , is it not her job to have great customer support? First time ordering here at this Waba grill location the food was very tasty and fresh pretty quick to make as well , the kitchen seemed clean as well. The employee with the name kelcey was very lough though basically yelling while talking to her co workers which is so unprofessional I can hear her over the music in the dinning room . I asked her to put my bowls in 2 different bags and was very dismissive and just shook her head. Asked her for extra sauce again just shook her head and got back to her conversation. At the end didn't give me extra sauce or 2 separate bags. Very disappointed. Food is amazing though service not too great. read more

I recently visited Waba Grill with my family on the way to Vegas and had an incredibly disappointing experience with an employee named Kelcey. Her behavior was consistently rude and unprofessional. Every time I asked for something, she would rudely say, "anything else" in a tone that made me feel like I was bothering her. When she didn't understand something, instead of politely asking for clarification, she responded with a disrespectful "what." Worst location with customer service 10/23 around 630-7 went in to horrible service from kelcey G extremely inpatient lady. This has not been the first time. Not just that but my wife said she seen her and her friend smoking outside of the restaurant not to long ago. So being high at work? Can't believe Waba allows that. To top it off the restroom was dirty seat had what it looked like blood and restroom smelled really bad. There overall environment has changed a lot in the past months. Ladies are more interested in talking with Each other than the customers. I will now be taking mine and my family's business elsewhere. read more

Food is amazing 10/10 the cooks were making fresh chicken when I went in so that was good , the steak was fresh I received a Waba bowl with white rice added onions i recommend this item. The food here is amazing I was checking out the reviews before I tried this place out and went into the reviews were people don't recommend. Why is there over 20 reviews on the same lady "kelcey" felt that was strange. When I walked in I wanted to see what people were talking about and seen she helped me out. The food was amazing got white meat white rice and broccoli, my friend got Waba bowl with white rice onion on the side and extra Waba sauce . Our food was delicious no complaints on that , the cook working tonight really gave us the best fresh chicken. On the other hand employee "kelcey" was extremely impatient with us and rushing us and giving us our food I understand wanting to give us our food and take our order fast but being rude about it ? I went in a few weeks ago and received service from a young man and another female with glasses most amazing service this was in the morning, the food was freshly made smelled good even outside this was the best Waba grill , decided to try it again this week horrible service provided by 2 young girls my server with the name kelcey not sure the other one but she has glasses and around 4'8 they did not prioritize working , restrooms were filthy but atleast food was good , kelcey just made the whole experience awful by not providing topnoch service read more
