As I sit here wishing I had ordered an extra mini bowl last time, I realize how much this place does everything right: It's fresh, reasonably priced, consistent and delicious. Shrimp Boom Boom Tacos and Kimchi Edamame are my new favorites, but the bowls are the best. I used to think a good teriyaki bowl was always available around here, but that is no longer the case! Look no further than my former lunchtime staple California Bowl a mere 1 mile away (whose quality has so markedly diminished they should call it "Central California Bowl.") Their titular entree has been competently reclaimed by Waba's Chicken & Steak Veggie Bowl. Best of all, the service is friendly, the place is always being cleaned, and it's a pleasant respite from the chaos of Western. The kitchen is always in sight, it's spotless, and the grill action is always on point. I've never had an undercooked or too grisly piece of meat here. They don't get cranky if you order close to closing. More importantly, they wash their greens and it's nice to get a side salad that hasn't been sitting out all day. This is by far my favorite WaBa franchise, and a gem in the neighborhood. I do eat here about once a week, not a shill. I'm writing this because I want them to last a long time and hopefully they stay awesome, because losing a good Teriyaki Bowl place is a tragedy nobody should have to suffer. read more

I was so pleasantly surprised, with the care taken to prepare and the presentation. It was so great and delicious. It was almost too pretty to eat... Normally I don't expect too much from chains but at least from my experience here was pretty solid. Placed a delivery order through the Waba app at 8:30pm. This location closes at 10pm. There is no way to track deliveries so I called the restaurant at 9:15 pm to ask if the driver is in route. They informed me that they don't deliver. After a long awkward exchange it was revealed to me that Doordash handles their deliveries. I was told by the restaurant that there was nobody assigned to pick up my order. I asked him if he saw a dasher in his system that would pick up my order. He informed me that there was no one assigned to pick up my order. He said that he would call me back within 10 to 15 minutes and never did. I was charged for my order, never received my order, and they stopped answering their phone 15 minutes before closing. So now I have to call the restaurant tomorrow and get a refund for the food I never received. Very bad customer service. I'll never order from this location again. This should have been handled this evening. They should have reached out to me before closing and offered a refund and possibly an apology for never receiving my food . read more

I don't understand what all the negative hubbub is about. The staff has always treated me nice and the portions are always a good amount. I come here every other week to order my dad and I lunch. Our food is never cold, and the avocados they give me are always fresh (which is a huge plus). They also give jalapeños upon request and it just completes the entire meal. This is by far the nicest wabba grill I've been too. This place is super clean. The food was so yummy! It didn't taste like the other wabba's ice been too. It was better. I wanted to use the restroom but it was busy and they offered me to use the men's room if I wanted. I was so surprised to see the men's room so spotless. Nothing like other restrooms I've seen. She also prioritizes online and phone ordered over walk-in customers. The chicken and beef were very fresh, lean and charbroiled. The veggies were nice and crunchy topped with their great tasting teriyaki sauce and green onions.
