The food is great, but the Asian lady in charge seems to busy to do her job which is taking orders. She had me wait 4 minutes at the counter before she took my order. Once she did, she seemed pleasant though. Took our order then actually gave me some good options for a kids meal which was awesome. Food was done quick and it was delicious! The thing that pissed me off was that she only have me 1 stinking napkin for my sons and my order. Kids and waba sauce isn't a good mix. There is an older male, who seems to be the owner of this location, who is not only rude over the phone when placing an order but also at the restaurant. I bought the beef and vegetable bowl and the beef was really gross it was full of fat bubble looking things that were definitely not normal fat. We drove back hoping that they would replace it since it was not chewable but they said it was normal. I've been here before and to other waba grills and I've never seen anything like that. My husband tells them we didn't want rice, and the cashier tells us to eat around it. EAT. AROUND. IT. My sister and I finally decided to give this spot a chance after passing by it numerous times on our way home. My sister got the chicken bowl and I got the chicken/beef plate. I loved what I got. If they didn't pull a fast move like this they would of easily got 4 Afros from me. When a customer ask for an orange wedge and you say no. Then the customer says they will gladly pay you for the orange wedge and you still say, "no it only comes with the plate not the bowl" you need to reevaluate what's more important to your business. Either one small orange wedge I was willing to pay for, or a satisfied customer who supported your business. Looks like they chose the orange wedge so I probably won't be coming back to this Waba Grill again. They definitely need to take notes on good customer service from the Tarzana location.
