I responded with a weird look like did you seriously walk all the way over here to take a PLASTIC spoon and knife off of my plate instead of just giving the other customer a new one? Like that's a health hazard you can't just take it off my plate touching my food and then handing it to a different customer. Anyways, first and last time I will be eating here.

That said, it didn't really win me over. I feel like they could try a little harder with the flavor of the batter, even just a little more seasoning would help. The prices overall are pretty steep. $5 for a Dr Pepper feels ridiculous, and $15 for a grilled cheese is a lot. One thing that did stand out was the shrimp cocktail. It was $19 but came with a lot of shrimp, and the flavor was actually really good. I would probably come back for that specifically. What also feels a little odd is being asked to leave a tip when you still clear your own plates and table. I'm not against tipping, but it's hard to justify leaving a big tip in that kind of setup. Overall, the shrimp cocktail was the highlight, but with the prices the way they are, it's hard to say the rest is really worth it.

Appetizers: Aquachiles- They were freshly made that morning and the was fantastic. Clam Strips- They were fresh and nicely battered. Portions were on the small side. Delaware Bay Oysters- Fantastic and so fresh. Very clean tasting. For the main dishes we ordered: 5oz Blackened Red Snapper- The snapper was grilled perfect. It was flaky and moist. 4pc Alaskan Cod Fish & Chips- I ordered it half Beer Battered and half Panko Fried. The panko came out dry but had a better crispness to it. The beer battered is the way to go. The fish was moist and flaky and the batter was nice and light as well. Plus the chips ( Fries) where amazing. I believe they were double fried. The portions were generous, and the service was friendly throughout the visit. Everything was good overall, and the restaurant had a comfortable local brunch spot feel. That said, personally, it's hard for me to rate the food above 4 stars. Nothing tasted bad, but nothing really stood out or left a strong impression either.
