I've gave this place 3 chances to improve. Did not follow through at all. Hispanic night time manager is very rude, loves to argue with customers, and is EXTREMELY LAZY. First encounter, I came in around 8pm to get the 2 for 9.99 chicken bowls. My fiancé wanted a size of avacado and he wouldn't give it. His response was "we don't have anymore avacado" as he was opening the counter tops, in which, there was a bucket behind him with at least 40 avacados in it. Just because you don't feel like cutting them doesn't mean you don't sell them. Next encounter was about 3 weeks ago when I came in around the same time (I work throughout the day so right after work I head there for food since it's the nearest wabba grill to my home), I got the same usual 2 for $10 bowls with 2 drinks. Only this time, my fiancé wanted a side of veggies. Guess what happened this time? I was told there was no more veggies when there were 2 buckets right near the register full of carrots and veggies... just someone didn't feel like serving them... so I thought, hey maybe the third times the charm, everyone deserves the right amount of time to redeem themselves right? Tried it one last time tonight, walked in with my fiancé asking for chicken bowls. I was told today that wabba has new sauces so I requested them and before I could finish speaking, the same rude manager interrupts mid conversation to say "we're not serving new sauces until Monday" when clearly the jugs of the new sauce are behind him.. THANKFULLY, the lovely lady with the red shirt was willing to help us. She offered to put the sauces in a small cup for us to take (she said they're waiting on the bottles for the sauce so they can put the sauce on the chicken but considering they don't have the bottles yet they can't put it on the chicken bowls, only as a side sauce. Of course, the manager gave not only me and my fiancé a dirty look for asking, But he gave the lady a dirty look as well for offering. A couple minutes go by and we're given our bowls only to see them smothered in teriyaki sauce after we requested to have the sauces on the side. He rudely repeated "sorry but we're not serving the new sauces until Monday" and sure enough the lady came behind him with the sauces packed in cups for us ready to go. What was his response? "Well if you didn't want the sauce on your chicken you need to say that before I make it" when I'm pretty sure that's what I told the lady before purchasing the food. I mean, why else would I order "Sauce on the side" ? CLEARLY, I didn't want my food Drowned in teriyaki sauce... sure enough, he remade the bowl without putting sauce on it the second time and we went on about our day. But sorry to say, that's probably going to be my last time giving my money to this store. That manager needs to learn some manners and needs to be retrained on how to talk to customers. Fighting with your customers and giving them attitudes for your mistakes is not okay on any planet. I will be sure to talk to corporate and the Better Business Bureau about this one. If I were you, do not waste your time and money here, if you can find any other wabba to go to that's within driving distance, please do so. This one doesn't deserve your customer support. read more

Warning!!!! CROSS CONTAMINATION IS OCCURING AT THIS LOCATION. I ordered a tofu veggie bowl. The tofu was grilled on the same grill as the meats, chopped on the same cutting board as the meats, none of those surfaces were cleaned prior to applying a veggie based product to a surface previously used to prepare dead animal flesh. As a vegan and the spouse to an man who has a severe anaphylactic poultry allergy, luckily who did not accompany me in my meal purchase on this day, this location needs to clean up their act. Chicken should never touch steak surface, steak should never touch chicken surface and veggie should never touch meat surfaces. Its appalling!!!! The teenagers behind the counter seemed already irritated that they had to open a package of tofu and chop it for my meal so complaining to them would have been less than effective. read more

I ordered a salmon bowl with vegetables. The salmon was tasty, not overcooked. The vegetables were watery and lacked any flavor including salt. Staff was friendly and professional. If I return then I will return then I will ask for broccoli only. read more

Service gets 5 stars. Food gets 2 stars. First time trying and we were very disappointed and have already decided not to go back. If you want basically rice for dinner then this is the place. There is barely any salad and just a thin layer of meat on top of a TON of rice. Overpriced for the amount of protein you get. I also think they may season there steak and chicken in teriyaki sauce or some type of sweet sauce. How is that healthy? I would prefer no "sugar" on my protein or at least an option. This most definitely was the worst experience I've ever had with Waba Grill franchise. When I went into the store on Saturday I order the chicken bowl special with two chicken bowls for about ten bucks. I asked him if they could throw some kale on there because I love the cable they have for some reason. He explained to me that even though the pictures that were up on the board showed that their dishes contain kale, they discontinued it and just didn't give them updated pictures. This was fine. I then asked him to throw veggies on there if he could even if it was an additional price. And when he asked me for onions I asked him to put them on the side. When I got home about 40 minutes later because of traffic, I told them over the phone that they had messed up my order by not putting the vegetables and by putting the onions on the side. I was unable to speak to the manager because he was preoccupied which is totally fine as well, so I left my name and number and asked for the manager to call me at his earliest convenience. Today, Monday, I then called about these bowls since Sunday they were closed. I was following up because of manager never called me. The lady said if I have the receipt it should be no problem and they will reimburse me or give me the meals again correctly like I should have been in the first place. When I got there at about 3:10, the manager was already gone and the other lady was attempting to help me but absolutely did not. I don't know if it was because I looked a little bit grungy because I am just moving to that area and was all day cleaning the backyard as well as the house. I don't know why she told me this, but she went in the back to call the manager because apparently she has absolutely no power for anything that has to do with customer service refunds or exchanges, which totally doesn't make any sense. And she went in the back and for about 10 to 15 minutes was trying to get ahold of the manager and apparently that manager told her to make me pay for the exchange bowls and I can get 20% off. Which means I would be paying again for the same exact meals that were messed up in the first place that me and my husband could not eat :-( this was ridiculous and I cannot believe this customer service floozy! I am extremely upset and currently waiting for someone to contact me because this is absolutely ridiculous. The way that she talked to me was saying... Yeah... No... Great restaurant. The Chicken Bowl was fantastic and pretty cheap. Please keep in mind that the spicy sauce may be a bit too spicy for you.

The cashier was nice the person cleaning say hello , very friendly, recently open so it's very clean/ looks nice .

THIS WABA GRILL IS DIFFERENT!!! Trust me it's not like the other waba grills which I hate. This is the only Waba grill I can eat at and the staff is so nice. Jessica is the main girl I go to and she memorized my order already. I have a Waba grill closer to my house but I'll drive an extra 5 minutes for this one. Food and service great!!! Only complaint is the employee scooping the rice in the bowls touched the inside of the bowls which scooping the rice. It's possible the employee's hands were clean, but making this a habit (perhaps the way the bowl is held when scooping rice) probably isn't good. read more
