I went back to this farmer boys while I'm doing some work up at my buddies on our fishing boat and this location for the second time has an excellent Chef and great customer service. The last time I stopped and did not take a picture of the farmer boy Burger, which was one of the best ones I've ever had made and I've been eating at Farmer Boys for a very long time. Today I took a picture of the sourdough chicken avocado sandwich with the one dollar zucchini deal celebrating their birthday. Again the sandwich was one of the best I've had ever. Someone's doing something right in the back and the Customer Service again was exceptional. I ate in this time and was served within six or seven minutes. I just don't understand why this place isn't busier on a Sunday afternoon. I went here on Thursday, October 24 from 9 PM to 9:30 PM. The customer service here has never really been good. I just go here because it's closest to where I live. I am writing this review now, although I have been here several times throughout the years, due to a lack in education by the workers regarding sanitary conditions and lack of handwashing practices. When I got inside, the young Latino guy just walks up to the register and just looks at me without even saying a word. Not welcoming. Customer service skills seems to be not be a priority here. But before that, I noticed that he was touching the trash cans and he did not even wash his hands before approaching the register. Unsanitary. After paying for my food, I went to go sit down at the table, and the young guy and girl sweeping the floors near where I was sitting so I kept moving tables. I didn't want to get any debris next to me. That was very rude of them. I noticed the Latina girl with the tattoos on her left neck not washing her hands after rolling up the doormats and sweeping the floor, and then she went to go get my food. I did not use the napkins and the fork that she got from me because she did not wash her hands. Unsanitary. I decided to go up to the counter and asked another guy that was working the drive-thru for extra napkins and a plastic fork and spoon because I did not want to use the ones that she gave me. Because this girl and guy did not wash their hands, I have to report this restaurant to the County of San Bernardino environmental health department due to unsanitary conditions. I would NOT recommend using their app to place an order. I just did for the first time, and when I arrived to pick up my order the rude guy at the drive-thru told me he would "allow me" to pick up my order through the drive-thru " just this one time". Nowhere on the app or the email did it say I was not allowed to pick it up through the drive-thru. When I got to the window, the rude guy told me I wouldn't be able to pick in my order unless I showed him my phone. I just sort of waved it in front of him and he handed me the bag. They really need to work out their online ordering/ pickup system, because I don't want to be given the third degree every time I pick up my food. Mighty expensive piece of avocado for $13. Husband said the hashbrowns were burnt too. Sounds like they need to evaluate their cooks, as they weren't even busy. This is my second time here at this Farmers Boys. I tried their breakfast and was great. Today , I tried their Big Cheese Burger and onion rings. It was very busy at this time about 12:30pm on a Wednesday. I had to wait 20 minutes to order and 10 minutes to get my order. The customer service was okay, but the wait time was long. Once I got home and saw my burger, the burger was dry & overcooked. There were only 4 onion rings for $6.15. I really don't think the set price for these onion rings is worth it. Maybe $4.00 is better. I've been to other Farmer Boys, and their burgers were more juicer and not dry. I may give this place one more try. As for now, I'll give it 2 stars. read more

Farmer Boys, have tried a few times over the past few years and have to say very average. Seems like a very efficient process in place and service is reflective of that. I tried the Farmer Boy burger with cheese and fries. The fries were crispy and seasoned well and stayed crispy for the duration. The burger was okay, temperature wise on the warm side of things but the thing that really turned me off was the chunks of raw onion, my fault for not asking for no onions but assumed I could just take the onion out.....easy when it's sliced quite a different challenge when the pinions are chunk and incorporated into the burger dressing. Well, I know next time how to order. I will definitely give them another try, really like the back story and history so interested in supporting the brand but food needs to be served hot in my opinion. read more
