4.5/5: My girlfriend & I went here for my birthday week…read more Exterior: We loved the look of the hotel from the outside and parking was easy. During the day it was beautiful and at night the trees were all lit up which felt magical. We liked the area where people get married as well. Inside front desk area: Gorgeous and perfect for pictures we absolutely loved the way it was decorated and the sheer size of the main room. There is plenty of seating. We received our room key right away and the key return was simple too. The Room: The large size of the room, the feel of the bed, the furniture, the draw space, the small but empty fridge kept our drinks cold, and the lighting was nice. Our room was conveniently placed on the first floor near the front desk and near our car. BATHROOM: It was large, had an extra towel, and nice bathroom products. The shower was good and fit 2 comfortably and it had a large bath but the stopper was not working so we did not try it again as it made more sense to try the pool to relax. (We are young but I think older people may have trouble getting in and out). POOL: The pool was INDOOR and well lit, warm, and we had no other guests there the 2 times we went. They had plenty of towels, places to sit/relax, and a bathroom at the pool too. (Note: No food or drink is allowed in the pool). STAFF: The hotel staff and front desk staff was pleasant and helpful. They gave us an extra tissue box on request. They made it easy to book an extra night too. Restaurant on premise: We saw they had a restaurant and went only for drinks at the end of the night. It is not open that late so check the hours. Next time we come we will try the food. Shops: In walking distance is a small shopping center with a wine store, cheese store, candy store, a carousel, a restaurant, a pizza shop, and several others that were lit up at night and pleasant to walk through. It had decorations for Christmas. It was a bit cold, so I can see spring/summer being a better time to visit. They do not have everything and are geared to weddings so you may still want to venture out. (Also it felt odd they did not have a hairstylist/makeup artist shop, or photographer studio as one of the shops since there are so many weddings here). Keep in mind these are separate establishments. Protip: check the hours for the carousel before going. Negatives: -0.5 There is NO microwave in the room, only 1 shared microwave at the front desk where they serve complimentary coffee/tea and sell affordable snacks/perishables. (This was still much better than expensive minibar/minifridges in the room like in other hotels). We never had to wait for the microwave but reheating and carrying it back to the room and opening the heavy door was a little rough sometimes. I could see this being tedious to older guests. SMART TV: It is a nice size smart tv but you have to sign into your apps on the tv and actively remember to sign out or the next guest will have access to your netflix, hulu, etc. (several guests forgot to do so) The hbomax app was not immediately available and required a download code from the hotel and I did not want to do all of that at 1am so we skipped it and watched something else. Hoping the hotel staff will download ALL the possible apps ahead of time so guests do not have this issue in the future. Weddings/events: This felt like a perfect spot that was affordable and luxurious in terms of hotel. I did not attend an event here but saw they finished an event with many people the night we arrived and were prepping for a wedding the day we were leaving. Everyone seemed happy. Spa: The spa seems like a fun feature but the price is too much for us (it is even more than the hotel night stay) but it might be worth splurging if it was a honeymoon. Gym: The gym near the pool was not accessible. There was a separately owner gym/fitness center that charged a small fee. (We did not go and enjoyed swimming as exercise instead). 4.5/5: Of all the hotels we visited in 2025, this was the BEST experience and affordable. It was worth our 1.5 hr drive making the NY staycation (my birthday week) a real vacation. We hope to go once a year every year and will even considered it for our future wedding if they have affordable pricing and maintain the quality.

The Victorian house, antique furniture, pictures and decorations were well curated and curated with detail and care. My Room (The Meadow) was one of the most cozy and comfortable rooms I have ever stayed in. Again, the furnishings were divine! Plenty of room for 3 and a luxury bathroom complete with claw foot tub. Definitely a room for a romantic weekend or peaceful, relaxing retreat for solitude and contemplation. The Breakfast was just lovely! Fresh pastries, Fruit, Hard Boiled Eggs, Yogurt, Jams and tons of noshes like granola bars, popcorn and some sweets in the freezer. Hot delish coffee, creamer, milk, sugar, teas honey..I could go on but I was extremely happy with the selection! Whats great is that everything is self serve and available at what ever time you decide you want to eat (even if its a midnight snack)! Also, I have to mentions this..THEY HAVE A HOT TUB!! I didn't have a chance to use it but come equipped with bathing suits so you can enjoy it! Room was tastefully decorated, very clean, and comfortable. The two aspects that were annoying were: 1) no ice on our floor. We always had to go one floor below to get ice; and 2) the TV was not user-friendly. There was no visual "guide," so we never knew what was airing at any time. Plus there were no premium stations and even very little regular cable stations. It felt like we were in some remote area where they couldn't get any station coverage. Otherwise, it was fine. I would probably stay here again unless we could find a better room rate elsewhere.

The room was beautifully set up when we arrived. The tables, chairs, linens, and tabletop decorations were all arranged perfectly and looked fantastic. Erin, the Events Manager, was wonderful to work with throughout the planning process and was also present on the day of the event, making sure everything ran smoothly. Renting a private event space on a Friday night is never inexpensive, but we found the Viana to be very reasonably priced, especially for 2026. We hosted over 60 guests along with our DJ, Joe from On Fire DJs, and the room felt like the perfect size. There was plenty of space for dining and socializing, while still keeping a great party atmosphere. The dance floor was packed all night with high school graduates having an amazing time. The staff was incredibly accommodating and allowed us to load and unload our balloons, signs, and decorations through the back entrance, which made setup and cleanup so much easier. The food deserves special recognition. Everything tasted fresh and made-to-order rather than prepared hours in advance. The appetizers were hot, crispy, and delicious. The chicken was incredibly juicy and tender. Throughout both the cocktail hour and dinner buffet, guests kept going back for seconds and even thirds. Nearly every plate was cleaned. The dessert selection was equally impressive, with a variety of cakes, pastries, coffee, and tea that gave everyone plenty of options to finish the evening on a high note. Our family and guests had an incredible experience, and we would absolutely recommend the Viana Hotel for any special event. Thank you to Erin and the entire team for helping make our twins' graduation celebration such a memorable night.

She greeted me at my arrival, showed me my room and gave me a quick rundown of the house rules. The rooms are massive compared to my small NYC apartment and other "boutique" hotels. The bathroom was incredible with great lighting and a massive pedestal sink. I even think the soaps and shampoos available are vegan and handmade. Every bit of the house is there to help you feel relaxed, starting with the light music that plays in the downstairs area. I was in the Hamptons for work so unfortunately could not relax on the amazing property as much as I wished. However, I had the best night's sleep that night, and woke up feeling so refreshed. I took a long walk that morning, and drove down to Westhampton beach. I highly suggest visiting in the off season, because it felt like I was on a private beach! This was our first time traveling to my hometown with her from out of state, we were anxious about where to stay, and decided to spend a little extra money to stay somewhere that seemed nice and was in a good location from the ferry. HORRIBLE MISTAKE! We get into the room in the Driftwood area and there is about a 3 inch gap from the door to the floor, which made us both uneasy given the fact that we are traveling with a baby. Upon entering the room, the spacing was nice but the flooring and carpet was uneven, I kept tripping over grooves in the floor. The couch had stains on it and the floor felt dirty. Disgusting! Then, as a breastfeeding mother, I put our packaged/prepared breastmilk in the mini fridge. The following morning, we wake up to prepare a bottle for our daughter who is screaming to be fed at 5am, only to realize the milk is warm - everything is warm - the mini fridge was off. Then, I go to use the restroom, and the toilet breaks and is not flushing correctly. We called the front desk & they sent maintenance, the kind gentleman fixed the toilet and looked at the fridge and explained that he knows what the problem was, "housekeepers turn the fridge off and forgot to turn it back on". He explained it was not our fault and expressed sympathy for the OVER 20 OUNCES OF BREAST MILK THAT SUBSEQUENTLY WENT BAD!!!!!!!!!!! I called the front desk explaining my frustrations and they said the only thing they can do is refund my resort fee of $33 because I booked through a third party. We then called management later in the day and spoke to (i believe her name was) Gabby, the Operations Manager, who was extremely rude and not understanding. She explained that it was our fault that we did not look at the dial to the mini fridge and did not realize it was not on, to first time 8 week post partum parents who just lost ~2 days worth of milk. She continued saying that there is nothing they can do and that it was our faults. We are waiting for a call back from the General Manager, Claudia, who we were told would call us back on Monday (it's currently Wednesday and we have left 2 voicemails). I will provide updates. Thanks for nothing Danfords and thank you for making anxious first time parents feel blamed for having to stress pump milk out to feed their 8 week old and buy formula to try and supplement when 4 hours away from home.

Our most recent visit was so memorable that I had to write a review and tell my fellow yelpers about this little gem. The Beaver Dam Creek House is not your typical snooty tooty bed and breakfast. Upon entering the door you are greeted by Summer, the friendly Golden Retreiver and official welcoming committee. She happily wags her tail and is thrilled to have new guests come and stay at the house. Jeanne, the owner is very friendly, mellow and full of great information about nearby restaurants, the best shopping, and where to go for great bargains. The home is tastefully beach themed and filled with all sorts of antique touches. Each room is unique and has a different feel. There are beautiful mirrors, refurbished and antique furniture, seashells, old wood paneling, gorgeous wall paper and crown molding. The home is also filled with all of the modern necessities like TV, cable, internet, dvd's, books, boardgames, magazines, and a jacuzzi. Everything is very clean and you get fresh sheets and towels on a regular basis. Our family has quite a few food allergies and Jeanne was extremely understanding and accommodating; Each morning we awoke to asparagus quiche, scrambled eggs, sausage, hot coffee with dairy and non-dairy creamer, orange juice, bagels with cream cheese and fresh fruit. She also kept fresh fruits, vegetables, pita chips and hummus for us, knowing that we were California health nuts. I've stayed at bed and breakfasts before but I've never experienced the kindness, hospitality and sense of "home" that Jeanne creates at Beaver Dam Creek House. Our family absolutely loved our stay and we plan to go back every other year to celebrate Thanksgiving at our favorite spot. It's perfect for laid back families like ours who enjoy the freedom of a less structured bed and breakfast with a home away from home feel.

The rooms are modern, clean and well kept but they are very sparsely furnished. The rooms are spacious but not many places to relax and sit comfortably. There is more than enough room for a small table with at least two club chairs, a bench in front of the bed, maybe even a loveseat but instead it's just big open flooring with a king size bed and one chair- not really anywhere for more than one person to sit comfortably. There is a fridge which is always nice to have and the staff was pleasant and attentive. A free breakfast was included, they served egg sandwiches, yogurt, fruit and pastries but still not worth a price tag of almost $475+ a night. The website also makes it seem like the restaurant is open and available to guests but is was completely shut down, which was very disappointing. Again the staff was nice and attentive, the rooms were clean but considering how much we paid and how underwhelming the stay was I think 3 stars is actually a generous review.
