My husband and I came here for date night dessert and got their waffle flight. We were able to enjoy the three different waffle treats and it really was the most amazing waffle dessert we have had. The owner and his employee worked through the queue without losing their cool and interacting with their customers with grace and humor. Great service and great food. We will definitely be back to give the savory selection a try.

A great sweet AND savory waffle house that's kinda hidden in the mall. The staff were very nice and cook the food very well on the spot.

There was live music playing when we were there which was super vibey. They have a little corner in the back that has clothes and stuff for sale, and a little video of bob ross projected onto the wall. I really liked the ambiance. Service was super warm and friendly. The "Seattle freeze" is definitely just a Seattle thing haha. I ordered the turkey pesto waffle sandwich with a side of loaded baked potato hash browns. The sandwich was not bad. I thought it was a bit on the drier side and could've use more pesto, but still good flavor. The waffle is gluten free but I really couldn't tell. It's also a bit sweet, which made me wish I got a sweet waffle. The hash brown was definitely the star. The top and sides were crispy, and loaded potato flavors really came through. Loved the fresh chives and sour cream. Overall, really solid spot! Now I want a sweet waffle haha

I got the smoked salmon one and I was also skeptical of the hot tomato on it, but it turned out to go nicely with the salmon and waffle. A few people I went with got salads and those looked excellent and fresh too. The downsides were that it was pricey lunch in that there wasn't really a meal under $24 on the menu. Some of the sweet waffles that I would personally consider more of a snack were a little less though. And nothing came with a side I would expect, like hash browns with a breakfast dish for example. Also there were no inherently vegan options other than sides (you could order a salad without the cheese and bacon though). It was fun to try with a group but probably not somewhere I'd go again unless others really wanted to, but I could see it being a more frequent spot if you love waffles and are gluten free. Overall fine, great service, cute space!

I gave a 5 star rating a year ago although visited several times since then. I can't figure out what happened. Did the chef (s) move on, or pass away and a crew from a local fast food restaurant was hired as a replacement? I ordered the meal with filet, crab leg, lobster (portion?) with baked potato and Death by Peaches for dessert. I have had crab legs here before. This had been boiled until there was no flavor, and very ittle meat. And that was the selling point for me. The lomaster was fine but the sauce wasn't hollandaise as the bartender said. A watery, mustardy sauce. Not terrible but not very good either. Ordered filet medium, came well done. I took it home hoping to add to chili but too tough to eat. Took the baked potato home to save room for dessert and it was good. The real slap in the face was the dessert. I have ordered Death by peaches over and over and was never disappointed. What arrived was a heavy, dry, dense cake without much flavor, some peaches and a small scoop of ice cream. It needed a lot of ice cream or peaches to get through it. I left most of it. I don't mind splurging and I have without complaint but this was such a a disappointment. Most of the patrons were older and I had to wonder if management feels their expectations are lower? I will close by stating that wait staff and bartenders are top notch. Including Isiah from yesterday. Above and beyond even with a busy crowd. Never a complaint about the service. You are no longer my go to restaurant that I can depend on. Oh, had two drinks that were fine but the wine list is meh.

When we first walked in, it felt like a classic diner. And it is! In all the good ways. The diner is clean, the coffee is hot and flavorful, and the portions are generous. My husband had the Build Your Own omelet, topped with Jack Cheese. And they did not skimp on the ingredients. The cheese was nice and gooey, and the flavors melded perfectly. I had the French Toast. Again, generous portions, and the slices were thick and perfectly battered. Not soggy, slightly crisp. And the syrup was warmed! Sometimes it is the little things. The bacon was crisp, just how I had ordered it, not limp, and the eggs were cooked to perfection. Our server was Shawna, and she was personable and perfectly attentive. We were seated where we could observe the cooks, and they functioned like a well-oiled machine. All in all it was a good experience, and I would highly recommend. An added bonus: there are glass partitions between the booths. It really helps keep the noise level down. This was much appreciated and I wish more restaurants would do this. The next time we are at this end of town, we will be back.

We've eaten here several times over the years, this was the first time we eat dinner here. Fam. Let me tell you, the very reasonable lunch size portions? They're significantly bigger on the dinner menu. Almost disturbingly so Being able to get a selection of interesting regional beers is always a draw, tonight was no exception. And the pretty good lunch menu is expanded for the dinner hour - as well as the portion sizes being expanded. I ordered the fish and chips, my partner ordered the bar steak (which was New York strip), and her daughter ordered the salmon burger with fries. Because it was a special, we also got a giant order of poutine. Despite being in almost at closing, the service was absolutely spectacular. We very nearly had the place to ourselves, so the overall vibe was very homey and welcoming. As noted, the portions were enormous. I opted to finish my fish at the expense of the chips. My partner wound up with a significant take home portion as did her daughter. Couldn't possibly have been happier about our decision to stop in. Since we seem to have a new Greener in the family, I'm sure that we will be in Olympia significantly more frequently. And frankly, I am pretty happy about that, just based on being able to stop in here on the regular again.
