Had to visit a WaHo during my time in Georgia, and decided to grab a bite on Christmas Eve! Super grateful to the workers cheffing up before the holiday. Service was slow, yet friendly and made sure all of us were taken care of. My only gripe were the eggs. I asked for over easy, but they were basically raw and wayyy too runny. Waffle House is Waffle House. When you come here you know how the food will taste and what to expect. However, this location NEVER NEVER NEVER answers their phone. We always call and the phone rings 6 times then a message plays saying they are limited on staff and cannot take Togo orders bc they're busy inside. I pull in, there is 1 cook and 4 waitresses, 3 parties are being served and 3 staff are standing around in the kitchen huddled talking about the food served at the Dwarf House. I give my order, then I call the phone to see if they can even hear the phone. Phone rings across the entire building and an older waitress looks at it while she cleans and says I'm not touching it. Store manager needs to look at this practice, it's not good service or etiquette. read more

Unless you're an alien or at a minimum someone from another state who doesn't know WH, why would you be reading this? There is simply very little to be said. Scattered smothered and covered says it all. My two friends, Anthony Bourdain and Sean Brock, said it best. WH is the bomb. The omelets rival any French cafe. This Waffle House was right by my apartment complex, so I've stopped here several times on my way home (both during mid day and late night) to get a to-go order. My regular order is a Texas bacon chicken melt with a side of ham and cheese hash browns, and both have been great as expected every time. The inside has always been clean and the service fast and friendly. My only complaint is that I've tried to call in my to-go order before arriving there multiple times, but no one ever answered. read more

Lately it's been in and out no problem and food cooked right but today my bacon was almost raw I had to cook it in the microwave. You could kill somebody. This WaHo is magical. The first time we went the atmosphere was perfect. There was a wedding arty celebrating the end of their big night, kids picking great songs to play, and energetic staff. We almost never went back because it was a truly perfect experience. Alas, we were late night hungry and found ourselves unable to stay away. And it continues to be magical! A NICE COZY OPTION! On my previous visit, (approximately two years ago), to this restaurant, the employees were caught off guard because the place was a mess and everyone was in the backroom "hanging out" around 4:30 in the morning. The food was okay but I was very disappointed with the overall experience. This time we popped in around 7:00 am and although it was early, the staff was busy making breakfast and the restaurant was clean. I ordered the double waffle and my husband ordered the fiesta omelet with hash browns and toast. Not only did we each enjoy our rather simple but well prepared meals, we also enjoyed the service. It was warm and efficient and peppered with "Honey" and "Darling". I really appreciated having the heat on as it was fifty degrees outside and restaurants tend to be very cool to me. This Waffle House was warm and cozy which made breakfast even more enjoyable. We definitely look forward to a return visit! read more

Rude rude and more rude! The servers and the cooks are great but whoever they hired to be the "host" she needs to be terminated asap!!!!! I don't know if shes racist or not but the situation went like this...young black man and his daughter was waiting to be seated...(it was a line of ppl waiting) Caucasian party of 6 were behind the gentleman...HOST told the young man he could not sit in a booth with his daughter!!!!!!! And sat the party of 6 in the booth! I asked every one in line if they were sitting at the counter they said no (counter was empty) so i sat down she made me get up and wait in line its just me no one with me....utterly ridiculous!!!! It feels weird typing this, but I it has to be shared--the staff of this Waffle House were simply the most genuine, enthusiastic, caring bunch of people I have ever encountered. No kidding. My wife and I were absolutely blown away. The food tasted like standard Waffle House food, but the people were just incredible. From the short amount of time we were there, several regulars walked in and out of the restaurant, who were all addressed by name. It would have bordered on the surreal if it didn't feel so genuine. Joy is the best cook on the planet!! A few days every week a cook named Joy and her sister, L.A. serve up the best breakfast in Atlanta. I have eaten at hundreds of Waffle Houses over my 54 years, but this Waffle House with Joy at the grill and L.A. on the floor is the best by far. Just try a 3 egg cheese steak omelette with tomatoes, onions, jalapeños and mushrooms in the fold with your favorite side and just see what I am talking about! I will pretty much give Waffle House a standard rating of 4 stars and vary it depending on the service. I gave this one 3 stars because the servers are really, really, really slow here (I should give it 2 stars, but I don't want to be too mean). They are quite bad about taking your order and coming back to check on coffee or soda refills. After the order is in, the food comes out in typically fast Waffle House fashion, but the wait staff is really crappy. Also, and I don't intend to be mean, there is one waitress there that smells SO bad. Oh my gosh. It is really suffocating. 5 stars simply because of the dining experience I had here. The place: Typical diner, pretty clean and plenty of space. The eats: Hash smothered and topped with gravy was the best thing i've ever had. It was simply just... comforting. :) We also ordered the scramble, which was delicious as well. Was not happy at all with this facility, ordered a sausage omelette, they did not put sausage in it. When I asked about the sausage,cooks answer to my complaint was to take the sausage off the order and just do not charge me for it, never offered fix it. I stopped in for a quick lunch at Waffle House. The food was pretty good the bacon was rubbery she made me some more but it was still bad evidently they changed their bacon. As I sit here I watch the waitress who evidently had missed lunch eating while she was on her shift. Afterwards she proceeded to stick his finger in her mouth to clean off your fingers. I love Waffle House and grew up eating there. This is my home cooking since Mama did not cook. Unfortunately, this WH is not up to par. I've eaten here multiple times and I'm always disappointed. Last week all my food was overcooked. The bread on my sandwich was burnt and I asked for my hash browns to be done light and they were over done. It was not even busy in there! It was before the dinner rush and we were the only ones there. I've seen the WH cooks turn out awesome food with a full house so this was just plain embarrassing. Get with it!! read more

Fast and friendly staff. Always get a hearty greeting, no matter what time you come in. One of the better Waffle House's I have eaten at.

The order came out wrong 3 times and they were slow so go at your own decision, most others are very good.

The experience I had was not so pleasant at all. The greeting and customer service was ok, but I ordered a single waffle and the first one I received was cooked extremely well and it was dark and crispy, and when I address the waitress she had it remade but then the second one was made the same as the first one I originally. Unpleasant and would expect better from the staff/cook for a for a infamous restaurant known in GA. read more
