The soup of the Day was Crab Bisque - fabulous. My starter today was Hot Honey Wings - devine! I was in the mood for Barbecue and so got a half rank of baby back ribs, paired with ironing and mac & cheese. I will hear qualify myself as a macaroni and cheese aficionado. This mac & cheese was not the best, but that is only because the world's best macaroni and cheese is only to be found at Dave Poe's Barbecue in Marietta Georgia. This m&c was good, though. The ribs were tender and juicy, and fell off the bone. The real star of this trio was the onion rings! Perfectly crispy, perfectly breaded, savory onion slices! Absolutely delectable. Food was great! We had a blackened Amberjack sandwich and a chicken salad on croissant sandwich. Service was prompt and professional by Kevin. MT is also dog friendly. I got to talk to the amazing manager Maddie last night and she always makes you feel like family. Milton Tavern has a great vibe to it. There's plenty of seating inside. My husband and I came during their lunch/brunch hours. We started off with the cheese curds, which were excellent! I got the Chicken and Beignets. It comes with a honey marmalade sauce. I will say, I think the chicken needed some more salt, maybe even some pepper, because it was a bit on the bland side. However when you paired it with the sauce it wasn't too bad at all. My husband got the fried chicken and biscuits. He said it was good but he also added more pepper onto the gravy. I came here for a work lunch. I was extremely excited to come here as I have never been. I was told by coworkers on how great this place was. I came in at around 11:15am on a Thursday and there was barely anybody here yet. We were seated right away as they had plenty of room even if we were in a large group. I ordered the Milton Jam Burger with Sweet Potatoe Fries. The sweet potatoe fries were amazing as it was super tasty and crispy. Probaly one of the best I had in a very long time. The burger was juicy and very nice. I would of liked if there was lettuce and onions inside as I will ask for that next time. Waitress service was awesome, friendly, and very attentive. Uh gross...I'm pretty sure we were served frozen buffalos chicken tenders. The ranch was horrible, the salad came back with so much ranch that you couldn't tell that the salad was green. I did send it back and it was better. The cucumbers are cut weird and they're like warm. Cool as a climber is popular saying so not sure why they think cucumbers should be warm. The French onion soup was good. The husband and kids like the hamburger. The fries are fake and probably were frozen as well. I would not eat here again, you could run to Publix next door and save $80 bucks cooking your own frozen dinner at home. I will say our service was great. read more

We enjoyed a brunch lunch on a nice afternoon. I appreciated the option for a nice patio, as it was chilly and dark inside. There were several other diners who had the same idea and there was a nice round of throwback music coming from the speakers. From a menu perspective - it was tasty, but not a top 10 place. We've eaten at Milton Tavern a few times and have enjoyed our meal, but recently we were extremely perturbed to see a diner sitting in the booth with their dog, who was dressed in a dress and had its paws atop the table, for over an hour while they dined. I am all for legitimate service dogs in establishments, but there is no reason a dog should have its paws on a restaurant table while diners are eating. This made me extremely concerned about the cleanliness of the restaurant, and I likely will not return due to this. read more

We came here on a Saturday night and got seated fairly quickly. Service was fast and they have many TVs around. Parking is also plentiful. I ordered the pecan crusted Trout with creamed corn and Green beans. The trout was a little too breaded but it wasn't too bad. The green beans and creamed corn were delicious. My family ordered the Chicken Parm and the Fish and Chips. They all enjoyed their meals. I'd recommend this restaurant. They have a very diverse selection of dishes which were all very good. There's a lot of attention paid to details. For example, hot foods are served on warm dishes and cold foods are served on chilled dishes. All the food is so visually appealing upon arrival it stimulates your appetite! In addition, Milton Tavern always has top-notch restaurant inspection scores with the Fulton County Environmental Health Services. That's important to us. read more

I was excited for Milton Tavern to open, but was let down after visiting. The remodel looks beautiful inside, they put a lot of thought into it. They should have put more thought into the food. The menu options all looked great, I had a difficult time choosing what to order. I decided on the meatloaf, but they were out of it, so I ended up ordering the Pecan Crusted Trout. It was pretty bad, I barely ate any of it. The corn risotto that it came with was good. The green beans were okay, they seemed fresh. The manager came around checking on each table. He asked us how everything was. He recommended adding salt to the trout, saying that he knows how bland it is and that most people end up putting salt on it. The funny part? I didn't even comment on the fish before he said that. I tried it, it helped slightly, but the dish was still not great. It was mushy and unappetizing. My husband ordered the ribs. They were very generic, the meat was tougher than one would expect from ribs. They were comparable to frozen ribs from a grocery store. Hopefully with some time they will revamp the menu and add some flavor to it. read more

First time I ordered the bbq nachos which looked nothing like I'd seen in other pictures on Yelp (which was what drew me). 2nd time, I ordered the chicken parmesan and it looked good, however it was very bland and the chicken was over cooked & so tough I could not chew it. I was disappointed at the lack of diversity in the restaurant. No color on the walls nor was there color physically represented either. Did not feel welcomed; in fact, the opposite.
