I have not enjoyed any buffet more than this place. The food does taste like home cooking. It even feels like home cooking. Being there, I felt like I was at a family party, getting my plate to fill up. All the food was great. I was in the area visiting for 4 days and I ate here 3 times. I would eat here regularly if I lived in the area. The prices are amazing, the variety is great, the food was fresh, and the service was friendly. The ambiance is very nostalgic, like an 80s restaurant. I love this restaurant so much.

I been wanting to try this place out for some time and finally got to try this place out. I was informed that this was soul/country buffet. This place was located off Haynes Bridge Road in a private shopping center. There is plenty of parking spots here. I got here around 11:30am on a Tuesday and it was already jumping off with a small crowd. I was seated right away. There is a very good assortment of foods here from fried chicken, country fried steak, biscuits, corn, mac/cheese, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, and a huge salad bar. I was very impressed by the taste and freshness of the food here. The highlights were the fried chicken as it was super crispy and temperature was just right. The fried chicken was probably the best I have tasted in a while. It was on point. The country fried steak with the white gravy was out of this world. I couldn't believe on how good it tasted. The salmon cakes weren't half bad as well. I enjoyed the fried gizzards and the chicken pot pie. I didn't try the salad bar as I still had to go back to work and didn't want to fall asleep from eating too much. The service was awesome here as our waitress kept refilling our drinks. I can't wait to come back here with some family and coworkers/friends as this place was amazing. I highly recommend this place if you are in the North Fulton area and want some amazing soul/country food.

I've been meaning to write this review forever. AJ's is one of my favorite places in Alpharetta. The owner (Morris) is super friendly and the price cannot be beat. My favorite dishes are the chicken livers, baked chicken, and catfish. I'd advise against the beef tips, Mac and cheese and cheese grits (both unholy yellow and not very good). The collards are also a sleeper hit. Worth a trip for Morris and the prices alone.

Food is good for a buffet..... price is now $15 and no senior discount. Still, it's good enough that I usually go once a week.

What are the prices? Do they have a seniors discount?

The price is no more than 15$. The best day to go is on Thursday, chili day, the best chili in the Southeast. I am not sure if they have a senior discount.

Our visit to Potato Corner started with my husband lighting up the second he saw the menu. This was his childhood in the Philippines, now sitting in the middle of North Point Mall. We ordered a couple of different options, and from the first bite, it was clear these were not your average fries. They came out hot and fresh, perfectly crisp on the outside and soft inside, with seasoning that actually clings to every fry instead of disappearing into the bottom of the cup. The flavors were bold in the best way. Rich, savory, and just a little over the top, which is exactly what you want. It reminded me of the shaker fries you can get at McDonald's overseas, but turned up a notch. More flavor, more texture, more fun. The loopy fries were especially great, with all those twists holding onto even more of that cheddar goodness. My husband's mix brought him right back to being a kid, which honestly made the whole experience even better to watch. The kiosk itself was clean, the staff was friendly and efficient, and everything moved quickly without feeling rushed. It is the kind of simple, no fuss setup that lets the food do the talking, and the food definitely has something to say. The only bittersweet part is the setting. The mall feels quieter than it probably once was, and you cannot help but wonder how long spots like this will stick around. Maybe that is part of the charm. It feels like you found something worth appreciating right now, while it is still here. If you love fries, or just want something a little different from the usual, this place absolutely hits the spot.

I also got a side order of greens, although, as the daughter of a GRITS (Girls Raised In The South), greens and Mac & cheese have to be next level. First, the chicken was crisp and juicy. It had flavor and I enjoyed it. The biscuit was fluffier than I thought it would be. Second, the greens; OMG the greens! whose Auntie made them because they were GOOOOOODDD! I wish I got the cornbread to dip in the pot likka. Definitely a 10 x 100! Now, why this got three stars - the ribs. They looked good in the pictures but they were an extremely small half slab. Fall off the bone - yes, but they had no seasoning, weren't smoked at all, and were dipped in a cheap watery bbq sauce. Not oven/smoker braised - dipped. I know it's a chain, but they should invest in a smoker. This was a the only thing I hated. Would I
