Slipping a little. Stop at this location every time I'm in the area. Same great atmosphere. The crew is tight and friendly. They got the job done while enjoying each others company. Rockstar cook was on break for our seating wave. Made food delivery a little scattered. As in half the order then the rest. For the entire low bar seats. Posted waffle pics. I got the one that was light. Didn't ask for that. Will send it back in the future. Too soft. Batter was perfection. Tried a bit of my friends. Came into the Waffle House and got exactly what I would have hoped for. A decent meal at a reasonable price. The staff was friendly and greeted me when I came in the door. There's something familiar and nostalgic about a waffle house and it's easy to enjoy your time there. The restaurant was clean and followed the usual design. read more

Two out of the 3 times I've visited, I've been disappointed. The 1st time, no one was in the restaurant. Every table was covered with trash. As if no one cleaned after the customers left. I even loudly spoke to see if anyone would reply. I left only to see 1 employee walking across the road from the gas station. The 3rd visit, many moths after, Which was this week, I had sour tea, cold biscuits and gravy which I did not eat, awkward tasting grits, overcooked bacon, and a filthy table . Me and my family went to waffle House for a late night snack and when we walk in nobody said anything to us then when set down there was no menu on the table so I got them myself when our waitress came over and said so many meetings on the table while all those me, even though we have little babies, so keep quiet we gave them menu to play with she didn't say hey how are y'all doing? Nothing didn't talk to us at all. She just took our order and gave us all food and then when I was about to leave, she got mad because we didn't leave her a tip and then she got mad because we don't put the high chairs back and are price was high for four people read more

The food and environment used to be good. Now I'd rather see the old car dealership go back in it's place. The chefs rarely ever get scrambled eggs right (how do you even mess that up?), orders are usually wrong and the staff will ignore you if it's busy. Also, don't tell a customer you're "not doing to go orders today" as you are packaging a to go order literally right in front of them. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! I live right around the corner from here so this was me and my sons weekly spot. The last 6 times I have been there (last time was today) they have gotten my order wrong. Not just a little wrong but like it's a whole diffrent order. I have had to hold up the line and open every to go box to instruct them on what was wrong with literally every single plate.. The customer service it terrible and the staff is rude . I ordered a hasbrown bowl and asked for extra cheese.... the lady taking my order loudly said " it already has 3 pieces of cheese how many more do you need?" Like what in the hell!? So I'm not allowed to order my food the way I want it without you loudly judging me for the whole resturant to hear? Good thing I'm comfortable with my body, can you imagine if I wasent how embarrassing that would be? Literally every single time I visit it is the same. We came in to dine-in with two kids both very loud children.. Got sat as soon as we walked in, Had some of the best service I have ever received. The gentleman who took care of our table was so kind and great with the kids. Kept a smile on his face the whole time. I myself am a server and was very very pleased. BE WARNED - NOT A SANITARY RESTAURANT - We went this Memorial day for breakfast and witnessed a waitress take a partially eaten steak back from a customer and put it back on the griddle next to other orders being cooked. This was an absolutely disgusting sight. We were waiting for menus and quickly lost our appetites and left. We were at the counter and had a clear view of this. While I realize this is a new Waffle House, I was very disappointed. Very disorganized, the cook was distracted and orders were not done in a timely manner. The waitress I had was obviously new to her job and wasn't supervised or guided by management. The cook ignored my waitress, and went on break even though my order hadn't even been started. My meal was delivered missing several items. I've given them a three, because I recognize that the team is new, but not very well guided or supervised. I'll probably stop again in a month or so to see if they've gotten better. read more

Well, it's Waffle House so I expect a 5 course meal. Your food comes one plate at a time. I had a bowl meal, and the hash browns were so crispy it was hard to eat. My hubby had crispy overcooked hash browns covered and smothered. The onions were burned, I mean black. He scrapped them off. He ordered eggs over medium, and they were well. Waffle house use to be pretty good. The one on hwy 210 was terrible. Food stuck on my fork. Looked like egg. Coffee had that burned taste and was Luke warm. Pretty much the worst Waffle House I've been to. And that's saying a lot. Cheesesteak sandwich was awful. Bread was soggy. Meat didn't even cover half of the sandwich. They didn't even cook the onions that go on it. To top it all off before we were even finished eating we were given the bill with no offer of a drink refill. I had read the reviews before we decided we would give it a shot anyway. Here is my honest review. There were only 2 tables there when my husband, small son and I arrived. We sat at the short bar facing the drink machine. We were promptly given silverware and drink order taken. Drinks arrived and food order was taken. Our waitress did not immediately give our order to the cooks which was fine as other people had arrived by this time and she also had other customers that need to have silverware brought and drink orders taken. After she saw to that, our order was given to the cooks. Our food arrived hot. Son got waffle and bacon which he ate super fast lol. Husband got some sort of Texas patty melt with hasbrowns scattered and covered he said it was good. I ordered hashbrowns scattered and smothered with a hamburger with only pickle and onion. My burger arrived without onion. To me this wasnt a huge deal the waitress quickly got some onion for me. The look on her face however was one that told me that she was sure due to this very minor thing of the missing onion that she didnt think she would receive a tip. This doesn't mean the service we received ever was lacking. Another waitress whom I watched taking care of her own tables quickly and efficiently also brought our little boy over a waffle house hat which he thought was great. I wish I would have caught their names but had just worked a super long shift myself and didnt pay attention. The only thing that took place while we were there that really kind of made me angry was another younger waitress talking loudly about how many tips she wasnt making. She actually put our waitress on the spot in front of everybody about a table of hers that had just left and if the man had tipped her or not. I waited on tables for years. I understand that waitstaff depend on there tips to support themselves and pay the Bill's. I base most waitstaffs tip from us off of my drink. If they can keep my drink full or mostly full and service was good then we tip very well. I dont even mind if they leave me a pitcher of sweet tea since that's what I typically drink. It's not their fault if the kitchen staff sucks This place is brand new and has some kinks to work out but over all good experience, great bang for the buck and we will return. read more

This Waffle House is by far the worst Iv been to. Terrible service. Iv been at least 7 times and every time SOMETHING had been forgotten or messed up. I continue to go hoping things would get better due to them being new with new employees. Instead this morning when I went my server forgot two of the waffles we ordered and instead of refilling our drinks she walked around singing. Took a smoke break and disappeared at one point. For now on we will stick to going to the Waffle House on 40/42. read more

I was just at the New Waffle House on 210 and had a terrible experience. My server was Amy. Amy is new but her coworkers expected her to do the job like they do. Bon Bon (Bonnie) was nasty to Amy and talking about her to other customers. Also one of the managers was rude to Amy as well. Amy was very friendly and nice. I hope and pray she lasts and they just give her a chance. I wish I had millions of dollars to give Amy so she wouldn't have to work another day in her life. Needless to say I will never go back there again. Wish there was more teamwork and not back bitting. read more

We waited for over 8 minutes with no acknowledgment whatsoever. One waitress purposely turned her back and avoided eye contact over and over. No one ever said hello or got our drink orders. And waited on another lady that came in 7 minutes after we did. I wanted to ask for service but the waitress kept avoiding eye contact and I shouldn't have to beg someone to wait on us. In all honestly the service was terrible and it took almost 20 minutes for my friends and I to get our food which is unlikely for a waffle house. Also my hash browns were equivalent to a brick, I asked for them sautéed not sure how they managed to put my onions under the hash browns? I will not be visiting here for awhile, 40/42 Waffle House is the best Waffle House. read more
