The management of this establishment is AWFUL. The district manager (Kevin) sent me a text message (yes, a TEXT message) to tell me they no longer needed the services of my son. They (Kevin and Brandon - unit manager) didn't even respect my son enough to tell him! My son is 23. Why did Kevin terminate him and not tell him? Why did I have to be the one to tell my son that he no longer worked there? UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNETHICAL! On Friday my son got ready and was at work before his shift started. They sent him home because they were "over-staffed" about 15 minutes later. Why didn't they tell him the truth? Brandon was there. He even had my son sign for his paycheck. He chose NOT to tell my son that he was being let go. Did they think that because my son has autism that he wouldn't be able to understand? Having exceptionalities does not make you incapable of comprehending. The customers love my son. I've had so many people reach out to me to tell me they were upset that he was let go, and that they wouldn't be back to that Waffle House. So many people (even people I didn't know) reached out to tell me that he was always so sweet and courteous. This screams discrimination and bias. DO BETTER, Waffle House! This was so unprofessional, unethical, and assinine. read more

Great food. Great customer service. The waffles are awesome. I would recommend this place to anyone. The ambiance is fantastic.

They aren't 24/7, they close at 10:30. The parking lot has not the best smell and the toilet flushes REALLY loud. But the employees are sweet and they make a decent decaf. read more

I am leaving 3 stars not because of the food but because of the level of service. My wife and I eat at Waffle House regularly but not this particular location. When we arrived, we were able to sit right away. While seated, we were never once greeted by anyone nor did anyone say "we will be with you momentarily." My wife and I sat waiting for anyone to take our food order, drink order, or even acknowledge of our presence. We then noticed others that were seated before us looking around getting frustrated that they haven't had their order taken either. After 25 minutes of sitting and waiting, we decided to leave and eat at another Waffle House. This Waffle House seated us immediately, welcomed our presence , and had our order taken within first 5 minutes of being seated. read more

Four stars because the food is as good as it have always been at this location and believe me when I say -we are WH connoisseurs. It's kind of a joke with my husband and I bc after a late night of gambling and adult beverages at the Horseshoe on the river; we wake up look at each other after a shower and together we say "Waffle House". We have been coming to this location for years. With that said - the service e was very disappointing and not up to standards. I asked for coffee and lots of cream. Delivered and told -that's all I could carry - 4. My husband is a joker at times and made the waitress smile finally because great us with sense of clear dread. After we ordered, we heard on of the other workers loudly say "when I am herE you don't come near hear". Then our waitress need help with how tO order the hash browns. Clearly, no one was pleasantly helpful but instead annoyed and condescending toward our waitress. The order arrived with minor errors-quickly corrected. Immediately, the waitress left out check. She never returned to ask if I wanted more coffee, my husband asked another waitress to refill his tea. Our waitress did a lot of standing around and talking to the other whose tables were empty. Again, as we were paying to leave an older worker raised her voice to yell at one of the waitresses. Not sure what has happened to the friendly atmosphere and team feel we used to get at this location But it is not here now. read more

Occasionally horrendous service and you will be served dirty dishes, but that hash brown bowl is worth it all.

I believe this us the one i went to. If not i will delete it and put the right pist for the right restaraunt. My don and i walked in there. We gound a place we liked to sit. At the bar. 3 young ladies from the college up the road from us were sitting there. I guess they live in a small town upthe road from shrevport. They liked waffle house. This was their lunch hangout place. My son and i had some breakfasts. We always eat breakfast anytime if the day. The place was clean. Only thing i didn't like was the cook brought a bucket from the back, then i saw him put it diwn. I didn't see him wash his hands. There is an open area so people can watch the cooks etc. There is no sink in that area i see. Theydo wear gloves and i like that. But hey in wendys the sink usually is in view of the customers. I see none there. Even if he wore glives cross contamination can occur from the bucket to the gloves. He made goid food though. The waiterss lady has worked there 4 years. She likes it. Friedly. Would i go there again? I don't see why not. read more

This is the best Waffle House I have ever been to. I come here all the time with my best friends and the servers are ALWAYS so kind and wonderful. The saying "It's not a Waffle House, it's a Waffle Home" really comes into play at this establishment. The food is always delicious, the hash browns and grits are my favorite! Super kid friendly! There is even a jukebox which me and my friends always play songs on if we have a little extra cash. read more

I was very uncomfortable in this Waffle House due to what seemed to be a drug user cooking the food people were eating. It's was the most uncomfortable environment. Our waitress was terrible, she forgot my husbands waffle and bacon he ordered the all star special and didn't get anything in his order. Along with his friend what was with us as well.
