Pretty scuzzy and filthy, like any Waffle House, and usually if I'm dining in after sunset I fear for my life. But, the food makes up for it. Like, how do they screen for good cooks??? Feels likes it's inherited, not learned. Like to qualify you have to have grown up in a trailer park with a community outhouse that you have to fight to use. It's exceptional! I love Waffle House, but my family and I will never return to this location. We waited over 20 minutes for staff to clear 1 of 2 empty dirty tables. They seemed to refuse to want to do that. Customers after us stole our place in line by sitting at those tables at Wich point the workers cleaned the tables for them once they sat down. I let the customer know they stole our place in line, staff and management didn't care to intervene or correct the issue. This was my first and last visit to Waffle House. It was next door & open 24-7. Had l been there for breakfast l would probably be more generous. The prices were the most reasonable l have seen post Covid but l live in San Diego. My Philly Steak bowl was basically hashbrowns topped with American cheese and shredded beef. It was greasy but tasted good enough. A pecan waffle would have been a better choice. Service was great but don't go expecting an extensive menu. read more

This is an update to my 12/21/21 review and is being posted on 12/23/21: We were contacted by management who assured us that they were correcting the situation. We came back in and had a wonderful experience: food was hot, fast and fresh. Facility was spotless and warm, and even though they were short staffed they were beyond-attentive and efficient. I am leaving up the old review BUT I am changing my recommendation, think you guys should give this restaurant a chance. We will definitely be back! read more

My experience at this Waffle House was aweful. I know that sometimes it can be a bit hot outside and what not but there is no reason for it to be 40 degrees in there. Yall I am from Alaska and I know cold. This place was a damn tundra. We were greeted by our waitress (it was apparent she was new). She was nice but she didnt know how to do her job very well, or just didnt. She took our drinks and our two orders of buscuits and gravy. About 10 minutes in she came back saying they were out of gravy. First off she should have known this when we ordered, and second of all why did it take ten minutes to tell us- very bad service. With a confused look on my face I began looking at the menu again. My second choce was the angus toaster. I asked her what was on it and she told me she didnt know and nothing else. I am the one that had to ask her to find out. Well I received my food before receiving my answer. Luckily there was nothing on the sandwich I couldnt eat. But you thing you would have more intitiative to find out for your tipping guest. They put pickles and mayo on the side which neither of them I can eat. Loss of profit there. Also my friend had specifically ordered for his bread not to have butter on it. Sure enough it came out with butter. I could help but laugh at how poorly we were being served. Also my friend had ordered a side of bacon. Well, he didnt eat it. It was cooked at least hours before. It wasnt greasy or newly cooked, WARM even! It was cold, dry, and sorry. This is the second time that my service and food has been absolutely horrible. They forgot the cheese on my scrambled eggs the last two times I have been there, took us till after they turned in our order to get drinks, and then had to ask another waitress for those drinks, our food was brought out one thing at a time so by the time we got all our food the other things were cold, asked for onions on hash browns that were burnt and instead got cheese, asked for another strawberry jelly and never got it. Just had my first experience at the waffle house. It was horrific. The windows, floors, chairs and tables, and walls are disgusting. They look as if they haven't been washed in years. The service was completely annoying. Our waitress came to our table every 5 seconds picking up the napkins we has used. I order coffee, and the cream I received for my coffee had a snotty/chunky consistancy to it. So obviously it was expired. After that out waitress went to clean a table for some new customers. She went to the kitchen and received a rag. She dropped the rag on the digesting floor next the the table and picked it up off the floor and continued to wash the table. I was in shock. After I received my food it wasn't bad.the food was okay. After I Finished I made the bad decision to attempt to use the restrooms.
