    Texas Bacon Cheesesteak Melt

Walked in at 12:30pm..got my food at 12:40pm! I couldn't be more happier. There was no wait. I was starving & they delivered. The environment was a typical WAFFLE HOUSE environment so I'm use to it & im not going to complain, it's not a 5 star restaurant & I don't expect it to be. Asked for a light waffle cashier checked with us if the waffle was light enough (how thoughtful?)! Okay food was EXCELLENT Ordered: Texas cheese steak (ate all except for a little bc I got full) Eggs with sliced cheese (ate it all) Light waffle (still eating) Sweet tea with lemonade was excellent as well

After standing at the to-go ordering station and having the attendees look right at me and continued laughing and talking as if I wasn't there, I eventually just left and never got a chance to place an order. It was not busy enough to be ignored. Also, you would think that since the cook line is in eye view for the ordering station that it would be cleaner. The cook line floor was filthy. I was only stopping through on my way to another city, and I'm glad because I will not be returning.

Typical waffle house. Not too crowded which I like. The food is always great but they were out of chili and other minor things

I've only ordered take out, and hopefully, I won't jinx myself by saying that all my takeout experiences have been pleasant. Twice I've called in and within 2-3 minutes of arriving my food had was packaged and arrived. Once I ordered a double cheeseburger and ended up with two separate burgers, the lady told me that I ordered it incorrectly and if I want two burgers on one bun that I'm suppose to ask for it differently, I totally forgot how she told me to order it, but geez, isn't it sorta self-explanatory that a double cheeseburger is two burgers stacked together. Once I walked in and ordered at the counter, it was about 8am and I commented that I must have just missed the morning dash, by the time my food was prepared and package to go, there were people sitting at four booths, and at least 3 other people waiting for the call out / pick up orders. So that tells me that business can get brisk rather quickly. How can you go wrong with the Waffle House.

Restaurant is open 24 hours .... I went there around 7:30am to get me some food after I got off work and the lady waived at me saying they are closed. This is very bad service

Nice and clean WH, best I've seen in a long, long time. There's no high up WH sign for this location. We almost passed it looking for the sign among the tall trees. Service was great, and so was the food. Coffee was what I needed. Always great coffee at WH! This WH is not too far from the ATL airport. If we are ever around here, this is where we would stop.

The atmosphere is lively, colorful, and full of energy with music and a fun crowd. The interior is cute and welcoming without feeling overly fancy, and it's the type of place that works well for brunch with friends when you actually want a little vibe with your meal. If you're trying to figure out what to order, I'd look at the Salmon & Grits and definitely add the Honey Butter Biscuits. The salmon and grits are one of the menu favorites, and those biscuits seem to be one of the things you really shouldn't leave without trying. The portions here are also pretty generous. Service can depend on how busy they are, but overall the staff is friendly and personable. This is a popular brunch spot, though, so I wouldn't necessarily come during a peak period expecting to be in and out quickly. Parking is better than you might expect for a restaurant on Main Street. There's free street parking and a larger lot behind the building, although obviously the easier spaces disappear when the restaurant gets busy. Overall, good food, a fun brunch atmosphere, friendly service, and a convenient College Park location not far from the airport. I'd come back, particularly if I were meeting friends and wanted brunch somewhere with a little energy rather than a quiet breakfast.

I ordered the chicken and waffles - didn't want wings so she substituted it with a breast. The breast was seasoned to perfection, topped on my waffle and yummy is the word. Cons - normally you get a receipt, that wasn't an option. I didn't ask but she didn't offer since she was kind I didn't want to debate - Misc. - I don't like powder sugar on my waffles and mentioned it so she replaced it - Overall when in town I like to stop at Rosie's - Definitely if you have not been to this location (they don't serve mimosas at this location fyi) must go and dine.

When I arrived, my order hadn't even been placed on their end -- they had to enter it into the system while I waited. Not the end of the world since I wasn't in a rush, but the online ordering communication needs work. The bigger issue was the food itself. I paid a $2 upcharge for chicken, which turned out to be extremely salty and overseasoned -- I needed a lot of water to get through it. The eggs were clearly microwaved, not fresh scrambled -- rubbery texture, uneven color, watery on top. For a $20 bowl (chicken, potatoes, a few peppers, and microwaved eggs), I expected better quality, especially on the eggs. Disappointing experience for the price. Won't be coming back here. If I can get a refund back right now, would.

I sat at the counter cuz I was flying solo and had nice conversations with those next to me. The way the entire building is decorated is completely eye candy and as satisfying as the food. If you like crazy loopy, different kind of stuff. There's a specific coffee shop and small gift shop in the back with social & environmental conscious products. Even have a film development drop off that I guess locals take advantage of cuz where do you go for that anymore other than some kind of chain pharmacy?. I took pictures for my posting but also for myself to consider coming back and shopping another time. Several of the magnets and signs I would love to own. The food is plentiful and flavorful. I had the daily special of Georgia fresh shrimp sauteed on top of homemade sourdough that had a little bit of a French toast crispy to it, topped with roasted tomatoes and spinach and thin crispy onions that were well seasoned. Most the time for lunch you just hope for something that taste good and this was beyond my wildest dreams of what I was going to eat for lunch today. And it was only $10. The burgers, the fried chicken, the fried shrimp, everything was looking so yummy. I totally have to come back. The place is much bigger than it looks from the front because it extends around the corner behind the counter and they greet you when you come in.

A southern breakfast in every sense of the word!…read more I attended homegrown with a group of friends during a quick trip to Atlanta after a solid night out. I don't think we knew what we were getting ourselves into, but I'm glad we made the decision to come here. Homegrown provides great food and coffee with indoor and outdoor seating great art and a "cozy" (read: crowded) feel. Food: 5/5 The food here was amazing. I just got the standard breakfast with eggs, bacon, toast, and orange juice but those around me had other meals like scrambles and omelettes that smelled amazing. I'm also a big fan of grits was able to taste some from my friend's plate. Service: 4/5 In terms of the food service, our server was extremely nice, but a couple of people in my party had things wrong with their order. We did have a large group though, so I won't put too much stock into that. Ambience: 4/5 When I say this place is crowded, I mean this place is crowded. I won't hold that against them, it's really a testament to how popular their restaurant is with that said, I really do wish they had more seating available. We went during the tail end of the summer, so it was extremely hot outside and eating breakfast out. The wait for a table was well over 30 minutes, so there was no way we were going to also eat our food outside. It was just not feasible without heat stroke. For context we live in the Pacific Northwest. What made up for this was the coffee shop that was connected to the building in the back that served amazing iced coffee to cool us down. Conclusion All in all, I give this place a solid, 4 out of 5 would recommend. Just be prepared to wait if you have more than three people in your party, and try to come early :-)
