Now Waffle House, I've come here a handful of times. More than likely, I get pecan waffle and sausage. Last weekend, my waffle was doughy. This weekend, my waffle was crisp but sausage was cold. I've eaten a burger here once during 2nd shift and it was delicious! The service providers are always friendly. The food rating score is 98%. It's clean ( for a Waffle House ambiance). So this makes 4/6 of my experiences here good. read more

I've never really understood the appeal of Waffle House, and don't think I ever will. I mean, the food really isn't at a bargain price. The restaurants are pretty tiny. However, I've never had any issues. I get exactly what I ordered, no problems. Would give 3.5 stars if it was an option. read more

The greatest Southern authentic cultural experience amidst excellent diner griddle food with super friendly service. My Texas eggwich was delicious, fresh and cheap. A giant breakfast served with friendly banter for 2 was $11 and included grits, bacon, eggs, toast, biscuits, eggwich and water. A truly enjoyable breakfast event. The servers are so friendly. Even when slammed with customers, I always feel attended to. Best grilled chicken biscuits anywhere.

This is not the place to buy to go food. Spend 50 dollors for my family to eat during this crisis..ordered fried eggs with runny yoke, got egg whites no yoke at all, ordered soft bacon, got burnt back, ordered waffles got burnt bacon... ordered smothered, covered, and chuncked hash browns... cot cheeses covered bacon and 1/4 burnt layer on the bottom. Ordered waffles, son cut into one and batter ran out....do not go to this establishment. Clearly they do not give a damn about people just dropping in and paying and leaving knowing if any issues arise most likely they won't come back. We wanted breakfast but weren't willing to wait outside on a cloudy morning at our first choice. So, we decided to try Waffle House because the coffee there is consistently good and hot. I jokingly called the Waffle House my greasy spoon place. But, we went inside. It had been a long time since we visited. The place was clean and busy but a table was ready. We took it. It's raining steadily now. Many people are coming in. The manager is keeping the floor spotless with the broom in his hand. He is monitoring everything and everybody, anticipating their needs. He is like a mother hen. I felt at home. Emotional. There were many employees. I don't remember ever seeing so many employees. They were efficient. They worked together. They seemed happy. My food was just like I would have cooked it at home except I can't get my bacon perfected at home the way they did. Yes, was the answer to my raisin toast request. The coffee met my high expectations and they kept it coming. Some customers and staff exchanged the kind of pleasantries which made it clear the customers were repeat customers. The steak was tough but cut thinly. I knew better but had to push that envelope. And yet, it's the now my new next best thing to home. Way to go, Waffle House! read more

So I came tonight and I made an order. Well not only did I waited like 45 minutes for my order but half of the order was cold and then they added someone else's order to mine! Waffle House is my fav place but tonight I was highly disappointed. AJ was simply amazing tho! Amanda took my order but wasn't even there in the end to see my order was correct. This other precious lady was and I can tell you right now she was so overwhelmed. I felt so horrible for her! Those two ladies ( I didn't catch her name sorry) we're beyond wonderful and kind! The one star goes to the cook who made the best scramble eggs in a skillet. Everything else gets no star if that's even possible. A cockroach ran across the counter as we are. I'm pretty sure there's Heath code violations all over! And the customer service, we'll just not talk about how bad that was. I'm surprised there's so many of these chains still alive. read more

The service I received was poor. The waitress forgot to inform the cook 15 mins of me waiting of my order. Then once I finally received my order ...which was To Go ...they left out my meats. I love Waffle House and this is the first one I have seen in years since moving to the Midwest. So we stepped in and sat down. The service was relatively fast and the waitress nice. After we ordered our food and was waiting when my husband noticed a roach skitter across the table near my arm. He was ready to leave immediately! We told the waitress about the roach and she didn't even look remotely phased and asked if we wanted that to go. No! I'll pay for my drink and we're leaving. No apology or anything. Simply charged me for the drink (most places would have comped it) and told us to have a good night. We won't go to that location again. read more
