Disgusting... absolutely the dirtiest establishment I've ever walked into .. sticky booths and tables ... and after being seated quickly noticed we were not the only ones at the table ... the lovely roach crawling up the wall apparently didn't want to share his table !!! I have two stars to be nice!! For one I walk in to place an order for to go and I'm told they have a new policy where i have to come in and actually sit down and order my food to go..didn't really get the point of that policy but whatever. The person that took my order seemed as if she didn't want to take my order. My fiancé was with me as well and we ordered a 2 egg breakfast with bacon, sausage egg and cheese grits bowl, blueberry waffle, and 2 OJs. I do appreciate her offering to just charge us for an all star special to make it cheaper. However, we received our food and we're given to small coffee to go cups filled with OJ when we payed for regular OJs. She informed us after we paid that they didn't even have the proper to go cups!! Why wasn't this communicated before the actual purchase? Idk but that was very unprofessional and poor customer service because we basically paid $6 for a half serving of OJ. Lastly we get home and bacon is missing from the meal. I recommend not going here unless u want to experience bad service and attitudes. Hopefully there's a turn around with the staff and we can come back in the future but for now I will be staying away. read more

Extremely Disappointed. I thought the waffle house would offer more than it did. many times we passed it on various trips always wanting to try it. its just like ihop which I really dislike. limited menu, the "butter" is some kind of spread with all types of chemicals. The peanut butter waffle has peanut butter flavored chips on top! however its My fault, I was stupid to think that the food would be anything else but fast food. I always select restaurants that offer quality food but by the time we sat down it was too late & hubby was starving. we would have been better off going to bob Evans, at least I could have ordered whole grain pancakes. With all the bad comments from my local friends, they are still open and still yelling. Went 2 times this trip for breakfast. One for waffles and another for a late (noon) breakfast because I slept very late and they serve breakfast 24 hours a day. I had an omelet with loaded hash browns, sausage, toast and coffee for $11 which was OK since it covered breakfast and lunch. Literally drove 20 minutes to come to this location and it was THEE WORST customer service eevvveeerrr!!!!!! And not that the expectations for any Waffle House should be the same as a Ruth Chris but come on..... walked in without anyone greeting us, the cook was in a deep conversation with a patron which caused the food orders to get behind and after seating ourselves we still waited 20 minutes before anyone acknowledged us!! There was all of 11 other patrons in the restaurant which is probably why I'm so confused and extremely annoyed at the lack of attention and poor customer service of this place... a little piece of nostalgia slightly ruined! read more

Been here a couple of times while passing through. Food is always great and this one is particulary clean which is a plus.

I love Waffle house. I always order a breakfast and it's always good. I only had one bad experience here in Deltona when I sat for 15 minutes (when they weren't busy) and no one waited on me. Dirty in general. Hair and crumbs running down the length of booth, sticky menus, my cup was visibly dirty. My hamburger was raw in middle. Literally got 1 thin ring of an onion on hamburger and told it would be 99 cents extra for more. Fries came with it, but it looked like a third of a regular order and they were all small half sized fries. My kid got waffles and they were fine. read more

The standards are fairly low when it comes to the décor and ambience of the Waffle House chain, but one thing customers never have to sacrifice is the oh-so-bad-for-you-but-hella-delicious food that you'll get whenever you pop into one of these little dives. It's not unusual to see one packed to the brim with customers, but their tiny building is part of their charm. This location offers wonderful customer service, too. I've ate at this Waffle House for years service is hit and miss but the food is usually pretty good but today I placed a Togo order and was waiting at the counter for it, I was there for at least 15min until I decided to walk out because I watched 4 different servers scrape off used plates with their hands and not wash their hands they just wipe their hands on a towel. 2 servers were doing dishes still never washed hands and would turn around and start making waffles or bringing plates of food out. The soap dispenser is clear so I could see the soap was completely fully looks like no one washing their hands in this place. I never seen not one person clean their hands in 15min. read more

My family Attempted to have breakfast at this location and figured since it was a Saturday we would have a bit of a wait. Walked in and was told by an older, African American gentleman/ host (was not able to get his name) that if we would wait a couple of minutes that they would wipe the bar off that they would seat us. My daughter and I walked away to use the restroom and left my husband to continue waiting. All the time he was eyeing myself up and down and along with all the other women walking in and out. As soon as a group of women walked in, he immediately sat them in our seats and told my husband that he didn't sign in. Obviously he was too busy staring at every female that he didn't even remember my husband was standing with me. Disgusting and degrading. read more

Been to this location numerous times. Never had a real problem. Last night was actually the only reason that this is a three star review rather than a four star review. Every other time we've been here, everything's been perfect. Last night, however, I came up here with my wife and my really good friend after shooting pool at Airport Lanes Bowling Alley. I'll admit that I was a little drunk, and my friend was probably a tad bit buzzed as well, so I'm taking last night mostly with a grain of salt per se, as a lot of it was probably just due to our, shall we say... impairment. For instance, the grits were kind of cold, plus we specifically ordered them with extra cheese and they came out with only one piece of cheese in them. Hardly extra, if you ask me. Also, my friend Joe's omelet was pretty overcooked, and was a little rubbery. However, both of those things could very easily be chalked up to our lack of 100% presence of mind at the time lol. Especially since my wife, who was sober as a choir boy, had no problem with her food. And, as I said, I frequent this particular waffle house, and that was the first time there has ever been a problem with the temperature of the food. So again, I hold that with hardly a grain of salt, because as far as I'm concerned, restaurants are allowed to make tiny mistakes here and there, and even if the food really was as cold or overcooked as our intoxicated brains were imagining it, it's honestly not a huge deal. The real problems began with the cook spraying us with dishwater as he was doing his dishes. We're sitting there eating our food and all the sudden dirty soapy dishwater comes flying through the air and landed on our table and food, with some actually hitting my wife in the eye. Now in my drunk mind, I first thought I was just imagining things when I began to feel it raining inside, but when I looked a couple more times to make sure and the splashes of water were still on the table, I realized it had actually happened. The guy immediately realized what he did, but instead of apologizing, he kinda half laughed, half chuckled, and went on with his dishes, continuing to occasionally ricochet soapy liquid projectiles off the dishes and into our direction. Next problem came with the bill, as we saw we were actually charged for the extra cheese in the grits, even though neither Joe nor I were convinced one slice of cheese should qualify as "extra". But I mean, are you really going to complain over $0.69? So neither of us said anything. The final problem came when, as we were paying, our waitress asked us how everything was. I said "Not bad, not bad at all" with my drunk grin, but Joe goes, "It was decent" and kind of grunted. Now, I mean, really, what do you expect the waitress to say to something like that? I mean, I don't know how I would've exactly responded, but I imagine it would've probably been something to the effect of "What could have been done to make it better?" or something like that. But instead, she shot him a real dirty look and then mumbled something under her breath. Now his drunk butt probably deserved that, and even at the time all I could do was burst out laughing at him, but still, her response wasn't all that professional in my opinion. But alas, we weren't really people worthy of professionalism at the time I guess, so touché to her. Anyways, pretty much the only thing out of last night that I took away with any real bearing on this review was the whole dishwater episode, because that's really the only thing that probably was not a direct result of our condition, so all in all I still give this place a three star review and trust me, as soon as the wife is no longer embarrassed to let me back out of the house again, I'll probably be right back at this same exact Waffle House. read more

Well we sat down tables were dirty . Main issue is we are in FL and they had the air on and I think it was going to snow. It was so cold out party of 4 got up and went home. It was better to miss a meal rather than catch pneumonia! So be warned take a parka ! read more

We travel frequently and have been to numerous Waffle Houses across the country--this one is hands down and by FAR the best we've been to! The chef did a fantastic job--our food was cooked perfectly. And Cynthia our waitress was excellent--very friendly and attentive! Highly recommend this location. They are doing it RIGHT! read more

Let me start off by saying our food was great, our sever Dawn was friendly and sweet, I'am giving this Waffle House 1 star because of the other female server who works there, I was unable to catch her name, but she is short and thin, reddish orangish hair in a ponytail, older I would have to say late 40s/early 50s, she was working the morning shift around 10am on 11/20/18, we walked in the restaurant sat down and was just waiting, there was a table available and as I we were waiting more opened up in the same area that the first open table was, however we still were waiting. This server was directly in front of us did not acknowledge us, did not greet us, we were being ignored. Just to let you know we are Hispanic, at one time a male working there not sure his position told her they have been waiting awhile to which she said "they are gonna have to wait" I'm gonna say we had been waiting a least 10 minutes and there were tables available, finally a family leaves in another section of the restaurant and Dawn calls us over. Later we realized the section that had an open table when we walked in and then more open tables as we waited was the other servers section. She did not want to serve us. As we are waiting for our food to be served this same server who did not acknowledge us proceeds to greet every Caucasian and African American customer who walks in and even tells one party to seat themselves, my blood is boiling at this point cause she made eye contact with me while we were waiting and did not say anything not even a smile. So we are sitting in front of one of the beverage stations, every time she had to go to that station her back was turned to us and she was talking to the customers who were waiting for their food by the cash register, this server could not have been anymore obvious of her discrimination towards us.
