Breakfast food is great at any time of the day, so I stopped by Waffle House for a quick bite. I had a waffle, cinnamon toast, bacon, and scrambled eggs with cheese. They offer a choice of home fries or grits, but I passed on those. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. The staff worked well together, and sitting at the counter gave me a bird's-eye view of the kitchen--I'm happy to report I saw proper food handling. My only complaint is that the shared parking lot with other businesses made finding a spot a bit challenging.

Yelp fam!!!! This review is personal for me, Waffle House has always been there for me. When I was broke and had $20 to my name. I could head to Waffle House and eat like a king!! This Waffle House is always good to me. The Staff is friendly & helpful. The cooks are fast and deliver the signature Waffle House taste. The spot we got was clean and we were able to get seated easily. It's simple, but sometimes simplicity is the best thing! Standard Waffle- normal with butter & syrup - Sensational Bacon cheeseburger- hits the spot, crispy bacon Hasbrowns- smothered and peppered- spicy & savory Hi-C Fruit Punch- 100% vitamin C- say no more fam! I'll be back for sure!

Honestly, this location is the best Waffle House I've been to outside of Georgia, where Waffle House reigns supreme. All the staff were super friendly and my group of five's meals came out without any mistake, which is a rarity. Timothy, our server, was awesome and played music for us because the touch tunes machine was broken.

    my disappointment

came in at 9:06pm tonight and stayed until about 10:09pm and was nicely greeted by a special needs man with blue eyes. it was him and a cook in the back. the man that greeted us was our server and he promptly took our orders and it was fine. food came out half done, for my waffle, the batter still visible and my mother's steak was oddly over seasoned and undercooked. overall super mid. the server was very annoying. kept over-checking on us (to obviously get us out quicker), left us the bill while we were beginning to eat (weird) and towards the end, he stood across from our table and stared hard to see if we were thinking of leaving and we felt his hard glare which was annoying. finally got super annoyed and left. yall are open 24 hour why do you care if people sit and eat?

They do what they do well: good old breakfast food. Get the All-Star Special. The hashbrowns are the shit. Adjust your expectations as to the service. It's a damn Waffle House. You come for the food, even when the server brings the slice of ham 10 minutes before the eggs, which came 10 minutes before the waffle. ‍

Of course have to visit a Waffle House whenever we're near one since we don't have any near DC. Food was oily and good as you would expect. Service was fast and friendly!

I had a good time at this Waffle House. I don't always get a chance to go because they're so far from where I live but i always make it a point to stop when I am traveling and this time was no different. This particular location allowed in door seating but had the tables spread out ensuring social distancing. The staff wore masks and gloves as did all of the patrons. My All Star breakfast was delicious, as was my fiancé's. My country ham was cooked to perfection and her City Ham was delicious too.

Decided to have a little "celebration" for a successful year end at our business. The good - attentive service. Called ahead and they held a table for 15 min until we arrived. Friday and it was packed. Cocktails good. Food, I've got some concerns. Appetizers - ordered cheesesteak eggrolls and octopus. Eggrolls were excellent. Octopus thought, I'm used to the presentation at Bacco's so I could do without it being cut into tiny pieces and buried in sauce. Salad - shared the kale salad. Great flavor but the ( wife's pet peeve when I serve it ), the kale was in very large chunks, could use a bit more chopping. Main Course - wife had stroganoff and I had the NY strip. I don't know what it is about Harford County but it's the last time I'll try to get a proper NY strip here. I should have known when it was only $52 on the menu. Steak & Main advertises "best steaks around" and serves the same 1/2" thin cut slice that looks like it came from Ponderosa but they charge $65 which is a ripoff. I like my steak rare and with a steak this thin, it's impossible but at least they were close. Again, stuff all over the top of the meat, a bit too much. Stroganoff - solid!! Dessert- Bananas Foster / solid!! My only gripe is the steak. We will be back for sure but I'm done trying to get one out and will just continue getting a nice cut from a butcher and treating myself at home.

Service is good and they are very attentive. Our water glasses were never empty. Server very well acquainted with the menu and they even have specials off the menu. Menu doesn't have tons of choices, but makes sense when everything is prepared fresh and what is on the menu is done extremely well. First, drinks... yum! They have a terrific happy hour deal. That is worth a visit on its own. It's pretty spectacular and the drinks are great. The good news is you can get the HH without sitting at the bar. We had an Old Fashion, a Lemon Raspberry Martini, a Lemon Drop martini, a Sidecar, and a Carajillo. All were well made and delicious. The Carajillo was amazing - better than an espresso martini!! The food was wonderful. First course was the Baked Avocado, Cream of Crab soup, and the mussels which weren't on the regular menu as they were a special. The Avocado was fabulous and not too heavy. The mussels were in a delicious broth. Cream of crab was good but not worth the $21 a bowl (just average as you would get anywhere else). Second course was Filet Mignon, Shrimp and Crab, and House Made Pork Sausage Pappardelle. All were delicious and served with sides that elevated the flavors. The filet is a fav! The portions were a great dinner size and not overwhelmingly huge. We skipped dessert, but they were all great choices. We had previously had their s'mores which is a must try! They do have good coffee as well. Great location, intimate setting, nice people and a wonderful place to visit for a wonderful meal. Worth visiting. Be prepared as they are pricey (over $300 for 4 people). It's odd because their Happy Hour is just such a steal for the craft cocktails available (I guess gets you in the door). Perhaps sit at the bar for HH and just get drinks for a reasonable option. Maybe throw in a charcuterie board to snack on while enjoying the libations. For sure will be back.

They have a small menu, but sometimes that's nice not having to make so many decisions and usually that means the courses are quite good. I ordered the peartini, which was good but didn't have strong pear flavor. They brought out bread with our starters (3 pieces for 2 people - I never understand that!) which was tasty and my salad course was delicious. My husband really liked his soup too! For our entrees, he got the filet mignon which he said was excellent, but my shrimp and crab with gnocchi dish was disappointing. I think the sauce broke so it was swimming in oil. I tried to eat the pieces off the top and the shrimp were huge and gnocchi very soft and flavorful, but I couldn't get over the amount of oil. For dessert, he got the crème brûlée which he enjoyed and I got the s'mores. Mine was good, but the chocolate was very thick and heavy. I was hoping for a lighter mousse to end my meal instead. Overall we had a nice time and enjoyed our date night out, but I think the food is a bit inconsistent.

Newberry reminds me of your hometown bakery where everyone gathers in the morning for their donuts and coffee before heading off to work. Very much like many of the shops in the Bel Air area. The employees are super nice at Newberry. Really taking their time to provide great customer service to each patron that strolls through the doors. Although it was lunch time we settled on breakfast sandwiches with homefries. And I of course had to grab a donut because it's a must, and a latte. The breakfast sandwich was just what you would want to start your day, a savory piece of meat and cheese on a soft bagel. But the star of the show was the homefries. Cooked and seasoned perfectly, crispy on the outside and a soft texture on the inside. We both loved the potatoes. My glazed donut was divine, pillowy with just the right amount of glaze to not make the donut too sweet. The latte was a little to sweet for me, but I'm a little finicky with the sugar level in many caffeinated drinks. All the times I've ventured into Bel Air I never thought to stop at Newberry and I'm glad I finally did. I'll definitely be back to try more of their yummy donuts and breakfast sandwiches in the future.

Our waitress was friendly and quick enough, but it did seem to take awhile for our food to come out once ordered and a while for the check when we were done.. (They were busy not packed). It is nice they serve a breakfast/brunch menu - not a lot of Mexican places do that. I ordered the Pollo con Rajas. The onion cream sauce was fantastic, black beans great, rice (arroz blanco) okay- it had great flavor and I don't mind a little crunch, but there's a fine line between crunch and dried out, and this was getting close. My husband said he couldn't complain about his Enchiladas Verde, but he didn't have any glowing response either. Overall, the food isn't bad, it's that it's a bit overpriced for what you get. Free chips and salsa (it is $5, and the chips are fried leftover flour tortillas that either puff and crumble to bits, or burn), or even throwing in a few flour tortillas with a meal with about 5oz of chicken if I'm being generous, would round out the meal, and make you feel you got more of your moneys worth overall. That said, I didn't leave hungry.
