Food , horrible, burnt eggs, burnt bacon sent back, I watched them put hot water in the grits, they were still lumpy, the waffle was raw or uncooked on the inside, we should have left we we saw one of the staff pants was ill fitting and we can see her crack, she complained about being exhausted, the entire staff looked like they wanted to be else where, the black make cook complained because we asked our grits to be in a bowl, one customer got up and walked out because the staff took to long to acknowledge him. It was just a mess, next we will go to cracker barrel at the next light, and if you are reading this you should too. AVOID EATING HERE and i hope they learn the menu prices read more

Beware Consumers. This company, Waffle House, will steal from you. 9/13/2025 at 0742 hours. I woke up with a taste for bacon. I go to the Waffle House located at 2124 Cedar Creek Rd, Fayetteville, NC, 28312, Unit 0728. This is off Exit 49, I-95. (5 minutes from my home.) I ordered one order of bacon to go. Cashier 2396 WH1 said I owed $4.80. I thought it was expensive, but I gave her 8 dimes and 4 singles. The transaction bothered me all the way home. I picked up the receipt and was astonished. I was charged $4.00 for the bacon, a Service charge of 0.40 cents, and a ToGo Fee of 0.40 cents, plus 8% tax at 0.30 cents. I went back to the restaurant to ask what these fees were all about. I was told Corporate set these fees. The Service Charge, as I was told, is a tip. So 26.66 cents was stolen from me for each of the three slices of bacon. You can be assured I will tell at least 25 people how Waffle House stole from me. I aim to inform folks, and hopefully cause you to lose at least one additional customer, including me. But, come to think of it, obviously, Corporate couldn't care less. read more

This place was DISGUSTING. The floors looked they hadn't been mopped in at LEAST 48 hours, the tables were super sticky, and we were being swarmed by at least 3 flies. The waitress, Ashley, had a toxic attitude. All she did was argue with the cooks and complain about the things people were ordering. Maybe it's because she was young and doesn't know how to act like an adult, but she needed an attitude adjustment. However, the food tasted like your regular Waffle House food. One waffle was burnt and one was under cooked, toast was burnt, we got city ham and not country ham, hash browns we're supposed to be chunked and top-they we're plan. My friends and I are driving down to Charleston for a pre Christmas get away. After driving through the night we were hungry and felt like stopping at a Waffle House was a must. This morning was my first Waffle House experience! This Waffle House was pretty clean and everyone was really friendly. We ordered quite a bit after working up an appetite driving. All I can say is Butter! If you do not like butter then the Waffle House is not for you. My biscuit was so delicious and buttery my lips were greasy... the grits are not good grits by southern standards but to us Yankees there were no complaints. The waffle was also buttery but still nice and crisp around the edges. For fast food breakfast we were satisfied, full and cost effective. Breakfast with a bunch of sides cost us $11.50 per person including tip! Can't beat it! read more

Kuana has an attitude like she don't want to work and we are all privileged to be in her pressure. She's youngest employee here and she's the slowest. She kept arguing with the cooks. The cooks have their stuff together for sure, food was on point, Thank you Cooks! Cynthia is old but she works circles around Kuana. Stopped for a late breakfast on the way through Fayetteville. It was extremely busy when we arrived but the cook staff and servers made the wait time decently short. I have never experienced a 5-star Waffle House before, but this is one!! We went there at 10 pm on a road trip-and it was a great surprise! We had bacon and waffles, and both were great, the waffle is not too big, but is perfectly cooked! I had pecans in mine and it was delicious! The bacon was cooked exactly how you hope to get, but rarely happens-mostly crispy, and also chewy. Yum!! The staff was sooo friendly and engaging, they made it enjoyable to be there,they were cheerful and engaging!! Hope anyone else who stops in here has the same positive experience!! read more

This was easily the best experience I've ever had at a Waffle House. We were greeted genuinely and immediately upon entering, seated right away, and Krystal took care of us like she could read our minds. Even the smallest details did not go unnoticed. I drank my coffee black while my friend took cream. When Krystal refilled our coffees (just before I realized I wanted one), she quietly set out an extra cream for him. Ok, so my very first experience at any Waffle House I must say was pretty good. The ambient can take a little turn for a more modern look and I understand it's designed to represent older days but I would update the look. Food is good a little on the greasy side but not a major issue. As far as the value for your buck its on point, the food is tasteful and full of flavors. Staff OMG was amazing these ladies are funny, polite and friendly, the service was excellent. Cleanliness I must say was slightly poor needs a little of attention but seen worst. I love Waffle House. My friends came here at 5am during our road trip home to Philadelphia. On our way in, one of the employees was smoking a cigarette outside and told us to watch the door. He didn't specify, and the door slammed behind us. After his smoke break, he then slyly said, "I told you to watch that door." My friends and I then felt bad and didn't ask for refills on our tea. However, once we got inside the waitress was very kind. I got cheesy eggs, hashbrowns, toast, and a side of tomatoes. The hashbrowns were cooked to perfection and the tomatoes were fresh. We thought "yay, a Waffle House" and what a surprise pulling up! Looked like a drive through! I've seen waffle houses that were more like a real sit down restaurant! So upon entering, I swear it did smell like the inside of a garbage can. There was a girl just sitting there in her phone. Over the course of our visit, I saw her stand at attention beside a cart that had dishes on the bottom and coffee machine on the top! She was the "coffee girl", I assumed. So, yeah, all said is true. Cackling older women sitting around. A man strolled in. Upon his entry I thought "here comes the FedEx guy". He had a package in his hands! Dropped it at the counter then to the bathroom. I don't frequent wakes houses due to bad experiences in the past. I also very rarely write reviews on restaurants, but i had to in this case. The service was great and the food was actually good for waffle house. The reason for the five stars is due to the employees who were all very friendly and funny, they were having a good time working with one another, cracking jokes and laughing and engaging the customers in the laughs. They created a very nice atmosphere for all the customers, there was no stupid drama between the employees this time, which I'll admit is usually entertaining when Ive gone to other waffle houses.
