I want to say I'm a fan of Waffle House! You are greeted with a Smile! The Menu is simple! Hash Browns are amazing! Waffles are soooo good! If you are in business, Waffle House can teach you a lot about a Process Flow! Just watch them from when they take your order to yelling it out to prepping your plate in such a way they know what is to be on that plate. Everyone has a job to do and they do it very well! You know what you're getting into when you go to a Waffle House, and this location is a favorite for me. I think of this location as the "clean" Waffle House (aka one I'm willing to visit when I'm sober and the sun is out) and the service here is just amazing. Immediately gets you seated (if there is a wait, they move through quickly). No pressure to order more, they are friendly and refill your beverages even if you are just sitting for awhile. I actually need some of the pricier downtown brunch places to learn what good service looks like from the kind folks who work here. Truly no one does an old school waffle + hash browns better than WH, for me. It is actually really confusing how difficult it is to find "shredded" style hash browns at breakfast/brunch places in Nashville and WH is still the good standard for me. Crispy on the outside, lots of fun mix-ins, absolutely must be eaten with hot sauce and ketchup. Servings are generous (how is it only $1 to double your order of hash browns??) and lots of parking, as this location shares a lot with Lowe's. My one minor gripe is they no longer have hot chocolate on the menu. But overall, this location is a real gem. read more

Food was good -5/5 usual Waffle House -but the restaurant was NOT clean-food on the floor and paper trash scattered around . I very rarely give 2 stars -but - FACILITY-I was so surprised -most waffle houses are clean and tidy because they have to move food fast. Today we were there in a not-busy time slot and there were several staff members behind the counter -they were not short of help, but no one seemed to notice or care about the mess or the full-to-overflowing trash cans behind the counter. Some were reading their phones Service 2/5 lackluster service -food came quickly but we had to get up and walk to the counter to ask for coffee cup refills. The wait staff is pretty nice here, but sometimes you can tell they've been working long shifts. Unfortunately they do mess up orders pretty often and you have to remind them and have them correct things. It's also a very busy waffle house which can sometimes distract on the cleanliness. So tried Waffle House for the first time to see what all the hype is about. Not really a breakfast good person and their menu is short and sweet. Not sure why I thought really cheap food but my mom and I walked out with a $20 bill for two and that's with me eating her waffle and ordering just a side of hash browns and ham. Overall food was what I expected-tasty. But I couldn't get past how messy the cooking area was. I guess you don't go to WH for the cleanliness. Plus we had dirty silverware and ketchup and syrup on our napkin holder. Despite the "mess" our waiter was quite friendly and our order was up quick. Stopped here on the way home to Louisville,KY from Dalton, GA. Place was packed and I have never seen such a service oriented group more welcoming or friendly in any WH. The gentleman that ushered us in was so friendly and welcoming and apologized for the crowd. He got us seated in a split second and we were waited on super fast. They all seemed to be training new people and they definitely picked the pro's to train the new people. Food was steaming hot, delivered exactly as ordered and we were checked in on for refills and assurance everything was good. My husband and I eat at the Waffle house in Franklin on 1312 Murfreesboro Rd, The breakfast is always excellent. cooked to perfection!!! All the waitress's are great There is on that really stands out!! Her name is Liz. She is so attentive. SHE KEEPS YOUR COFFEE and water filled up, with out you having to constantly ask. Zero complaints about this Waffle House. It was clean, service was super friendly and fast, and we ate entirely too much. I had the huge All Star Special, which is an insane amount of food for $8... eggs, hash browns or grits, bacon, toast, and a waffle! Look, it wasn't the most delicious breakfast food I've ever had, it's more 3-star level. The food isn't fancy or gourmet or upscale. But it is a classic diner where you'll fill your tummy without emptying your pockets, and it's tasty enough. You're at Waffle House. They're friendly, fast, casual, cheap, and something about it feels right. It's the South, after all. Worst place ever!! Sorry we stopped to try this place out. We arrived and sat down at the bar, took about 5 minutes to get an acknowledgment from a server. Everyone was talking and laughing and no one taking orders. Finally a server walked up to the bar and said I'll take your order because your server seems to be busy. Our server was busy taking to a man at the register about hair weaves and prices and showing him pictures on her phone. The server took our order, we asked for 4 waters got only 3. When she brought the food she threw the plates on the bar and walked away. Never came back to refill the waters, never asked if everything was ok or if we needed anything else. The only time she walked by the bar again she just dropped the check on the bar. The food was OK, the waffle was soggy and the place was dirty. The stainless steel walls behind the counter were greasy, no one was picking up the tables when people left. Not sure if the founders Joe Rogers Sr. & Tom Forkner are still alive but I'm sure they would be very disappointed at how this store is being run. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT eat here. read more

My Debit card was over-charged at this Waffle House. On 1/9/24 we had brunch for 2 at this location, the waitress gave me the bill for $22. I added a tip & paid at the register. A few days later there was a charge of $47.50 deducted from my account. The posted phone number is a machine. You can't leave a message. My wife is pretty picky with our every Friday breakfast out and I was surprised she wanted to try this "diner". It exceeded our expectations. I absolutely love Waffle House, but I was a bit disappointed in this location. When I sat down I was greeted right away, which was fantastic. I ordered a lemonade, a waffle, smothered hash browns, and a side of bacon. The lemonade was delicious as always. Not sure what kind they use, but it really is my favorite! My hash browns and bacon came out pretty quickly, but I had to wait on the waffle. Unfortunately the hash browns were not cooked all the way through. When I finally got my waffle the waffle was also not cooked all the way through. Bacon was yummy though. What disappointed me the most is when I walked up to the counter to pay there were about 8 people standing around and no one seemed to care that I wanted to pay. Someone finally walked over after a few minutes, but the staff had no sense of urgency. read more

I've always appreciated Waffle House after a late night on the town. I've even come here when I used to work 3rd shift in a past life. The food is hot and there drinks are cold. Sometimes hot because a cup of coffee is what I need in the morning. It's no different now. I came to the one that opened up in the CoolSprings area. I was in a hurry because I was running late to the office. I hadn't eaten breakfast thIs morning, so I popped in. It was a little busy. I ordered the hash brown bowl. I saw them on the menu. It looked like a new item. Whatever right?! It wasn't too long. I'd say less than five minutes. It wasn't long enough of a wait to read my emails. Wow! Less than 5 minutes, and I already got my meal. We arrived and the restaurant wasn't busy but our waiter(I wish I had gotten his name) brought menus and never took our drink order. Another party of 7 came in and he seated them took their drink order and answered questions while we are still waiting. Finally took our order...never brought our drinks but did proceed to take the other peoples order and brought their drinks. Finally the cook brought our meal and I asked for our drinks. The "waiter" never checked on us just blatantly ignored us. We get ready to pay and he comes over to check us out and realized he never priced it out so he turns around and starts delivering the other people's food. We were looking for a place on Christmas day. Of course nothing was open except for waffle house. We pulled up and decided we would wait as they were many people waiting. It was really standing room only and you could tell that the staff was totally out of control. No one was cleaning tables no one was assigning tables it was just chaos. We saw a table in the back and we just went for it. Trash all over the floor table wasn't clean but we decided that we were taking the table. I felt bad because there was probably numerous people waiting on a table but no one was paying any attention to who had signed in and who hadn't. We ordered and got our food and I got to tell you the food was fabulous. You just can't beat waffle house. Worst service I've ever experienced in my life. Do not come here late night. Restaurant completely dead at 2:30am. It's currently 3:45am and I still don't have food. Waitress (Kayla G) dropped my boyfriends steak on the table and literally said verbatim "he didn't see it it's fine" and put it back on the plate and set it in front of him. Another blonde waitress who refused to wear a name tag was far more rude. When we asked about why the food was taking so long her obnoxious response was "you can either wait or leave. Waffle House is a very unique place to and eat it's nice how there open for 24hrs but there menu is horrible and does not explain the food at all the pictures are pretty bad and they don't have anything more the menu to explain the entrees!!!
